Chest was TIGHT
I got rub rashes just before my armpits by how tight it was. That being said, I don’t think a size up would have fit everywhere else without hanging weird. Double lined, felt so soft. A dress built for carry-on on style. If they can keep it clean, I’ll rented again next year.

A win for a demi cup chest
Did I have to almost dislocate my shoulder to get into this dress? Yes. Was there a moment where I thought I was going to have a stranger help me zip it? Also yes. Should I maybe have gotten a bigger size? Probably. Did I buy it once I got it on? Also yes. Jokes aside, yes I probably should have gone a size up and I know my naturally demi cut chest is what really made this dress possible. The band across the chest isn’t wide, and fuller chests probably would Jessica Rabbit right out of it.

Solid casual work dress
Definitely a one time rental, but overall very little complaints. I could see this being very sackable for a vacation. I didn’t have to steam or iron it out of the bag. Unfortunately if you care about your buttons going right down the middle, the waist tie is going to make that the most irritating part of the dress. Great deep pockets and not see through.

Dress was too column style for my hips. It was tight and pulled across my lower stomach. I’m sure this dress looks great on people with more symmetrical bodies. I have a 2/4 top and a 6/8 bottom. Color was vibrant. Others should rent.

Effortlessly dressed better than everyone
Well, that’s how I felt wearing it to work, and then a work dinner. Sometimes we rent a dress that just makes you think, “my body is fine, I’m just too poor to buy $$$ the right dresses”. This is exactly that. It fit my short torso well and didn’t sit weirdly on my tummy because it was crafted to have just enough material to glide over it vs hug. Truly well designed. I would have purchased, but RTR’s 1% discount wasn’t really gonna knock that price down enough. 😂

Shapeless, but it’s the style?
Thick layers of dress that are perfect for absorption during the summer. Can’t say it is flattering to anyone shape, but I think that’s the style. Looks great straight on, and sizing was TTS. I felt like I should have sized down, but the sleeves would have been too tight.

I was so excited to wear this, but then #hips
Gorgeous dress and thick luxe denim. Stunning work, honestly. Will look great on someone with a longer torso or more proportionally sized. It did not suit my pear shape, nor did it really fit it. It was 100 degrees, so I didn’t want to add a belt and pull up the material a bit at the waist to make it work. That being said it will look incredible on the right frame.

Winner winner- best dressed at girl dinner
This brand stumbles on sizing a bit, but over is incredibly reliable for workwear and elevated wear. Sizing was perfect. I will flag that the belt is attached at the side, vs the back, and I found myself having to tug it towards the middle throughout the day, once buckled.

Laughably small rib/bust area
2nd dress of the season to send me into a straight, sweat inducing, panic that either I would break it or get stuck. Went on easily, but couldn’t get it zipped by myself. I am a 2/4 top with a 34 bust. It shouldn’t have been an issue. Maybe someone else will have luck? It’s beautifully made.

It was new with tags so I’ll give some grace- but there was 0 real stretch in the tank dress. Size up - or feel like a stuffed suitcase. Just because I’m in, doesn’t mean I should. I’ve sized up twice and give up
Showed all my lumps and bumps as well as an alarming amount of upper thigh for my 5’3 height. I rented the 4 and now the 6 and I have simply given up on thinking this is a dress that is going to work for me. The 4 had me feeling like a stuffed sausage and the 6 had seams around the hips opening up. And not from my lumps and bumps, though mentally it did feel like that.

Fat Guy in a Little Coat
You know when you get stuck in a dress and start to think you’re never going to escape? Or, that one wrong move will rip it at every seam? This dress felt simultaneously like both. It is SO ridiculously tiny. And my order this week, everything was tiny, and this was the dress that sent me spirally. Every aspect of this dress is tiny. The arm holes, the neckline, the bust, and the waist. I have. 2/4 top and a 34 bust and I couldn’t get this to zip. Eventually I got stuck again trying to get it off, and started singing “fat guy in a little coat” as I worked it slowly over my shoulder blades.

Dress oddly sat with the elastic of the waist sitting just under the chest. You can tug it down but eventually it wiggles back up. I have a short torso, so if it is short on me, long torsos don’t stand a chance against the empire waist look. Color washed me out, but was good for one workday wear.

Flattering and comfortable
Thick cotton top that would still do good work for you in the heat of summer. Bottom portion wasn’t too long in my 5’3 frame. Originally used the tie to create a thicker belt/more of a waist look. Absolutely luxe and easy to wear. This is a the end of an extremely long spreadsheets day and no wrinkles. Will rent again. Bust: 34 top:2/4 waist:28 bottoms 6/8 dress:4/6

Great “oh, this? I just came from work”. Sizing was wonderful for my body type and material was thick enough that I wasn’t worried how quickly I was able to digest food, but not so think I felt sweaty after a fast walk.

I’m short, and the slit was quite high on my thigh for my comfort for day to day office wear. I also found the dress would probably fit someone taller or with a longer torso, as the zipper gave me a bit of a tail with the extra length. Gorgeous coloring and warm. Maybe take a risk for a specific moment? It looked great, I just would rent it for me again.

Will agree with the other reviewers that it is very warm. Great for winter. I did find that there was a lot of extra material around the chest and it didn't sit right on me. Perhaps if I had a longer torso it would have looked better.

But it wasn’t mine. The hips were too tight causing the zipper to wrinkle, the chest was cut in a way that my boobs neither filled out (I’m a Demi bra girlie), nor were they secure on the tightest level of the straps. I know I looked good, but I was so very uncomfortable.

Dress was perfect for the Costa Rican resort wedding I went to. The right blend of fabrics to give a casual yet formal look. As I mentioned above, the dress was incredibly long. I wore 5 inch heels and still had to wrap the back around my wrist in the dance floor. Not a terrible inconvenience, but something to note. Sizing was great. Size to your chest, not your hips.

Stunning stiff linen, troubling travel friend
I’ll start by saying that this dress is absolutely gorgeous. I went to an all white rehearsal dinner in Costa Rica and this was absolutely perfect. I’ll flag that I was able to store my phone and lipstick in the folds of the flowers. So there was no need for a clutch. The trouble began when I needed to steam the dress. There were little bubbles that popped up along the seams of the dress where the lining was attached and the bottom of the front of the dress pulled strangely and the seems became super stiff and inflexible. Sizing is tricky as the linen did stretch out a wee bit through out the dinner. Being a pear shape, I know if I went up a size it would have fit better over my shapely hips, but the top would have been slightly too big. But in the “let me put on 2 bras” big. Top: 2/4 pants: 8 Waist: 28
