Gorgeous, BUT runs insanely big! Couldn't wear.

This dress is absolutely beautiful-color, silhouette, fabric, etc. HOWEVER, it runs insanely large, like at least 1 size, maybe 2 sizes big. SO disappointed! I rented this with another dress as a backup for a 50s themed NYE party, and I was really hoping it would work. I read the reviews about the top running very, very large, but was hoping that it would be enough to just wear a strapless bra, maybe with extra cups if needed. This was too large all over! The entire top of the dress bagged on me, from the cups, down the sides of the torso, all of it! I'm usually a size 0, and this fit more like a 4. For a 0, the cups were very big, weirdly so, and I could grab a handful of fabric on either side of my waist that could be taken in. The sizing on this dress is off! Unless you are at least a 4 and can go down a size or 2, and/or have a larger chest plus go down a size, I wouldn't rent this dress. Such a shame, because it's gorgeous.

Absolutely love, but runs small

I absolutely LOVE this dress, where I wish I didn't have to send to it back! The color is beautiful, the perfect pink, and the color and silhouette is very Marilyn Monroe "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and Barbie inspired. I wore it to a 50s NYE party, and it got many compliments, I felt beautiful, and it was comfortable. I love the corset with hooks inside and the silhouette/fit, it gives you a flattering waistline and hips, nice shape! The only thing was that it runs small, definitely order a size up! I ordered my regular size plus the backup size a size bigger, and I ended up wearing my regular size. The bigger would have been better for me, the dress fit smooth and the pockets laid flat, but the top was too big. My regular size looked good, but the torso in the back rode up a little where the corset was and the pockets wouldn't lay flat. It took constant adjusting to keep them flat. They're also just in a weird place on your hips, pretty far over, so I wouldn't use them anyways even for a handrest, because you're definitely not putting anything in them as it would show. Unnecessary. If I bought it, I would get the bigger and take it in on top. I perhaps could've worn a bra to fill it in for the night and I'm small on top, so this might not be an issue at all for someone. All this said, I loved it and it was beautiful!

This dress=AMAZING!! Perfect LBD!

When I first saw it scrolling through dresses, it was an eh. I'm so glad that I looked through all the customer posted pictures b/c it convinced me that it was perfect! I absolutely hated to send it back b/c I loved wearing it that much. I would've added it to my closet as my go-to for big occasions. Never felt so beautiful & confident. It's so fun, SO FLATTERING, & the black w/all the little details make this seemingly simple dress an understated beauty! Gorgeous neckline & Swiss dot overlay! It's very high quality w/a lot of structure, so not flimsy, & the black is very rich, great for any skin tone. The cut/style is very flattering & forgiving, the boning & tight fit fits like a glove, the flared skirt is forgiving on the hips b/c it flares out beautifully, & right length to accentuate your legs w/out being too short. The layered skirt is fun to dance & twirl in. I styled it simple, but that's just me, w/over-sized (fake) diamond earrings, my wedding rings, watch, nude patent leather wedges, & gold clutch. It would be very easy to style w/your personality. I wouldn't do a big/statement necklace b/c the neckline is so pretty, you wouldn't want to take away from it or rest of the dress. Perfect for weddings, especially when you're unsure about dress code or how formal/informal, cocktail/fancy parties, holiday parties, fancy dates for just because/bday/anniversary, bachelorette, etc. I read reviews about the bust being better for larger chests & the torso being very tight. I do have a small chest, 32C/34B, & it was a little big. I could've worn a backless bra/inserts, but I decided no b/c it wasn't that bad at all. I wouldn't have been able to do a strapless bra b/c it did fit like a glove. As far as fit in the waist/torso, it did fit like a glove in the best way, which I liked. I found it ran TTS & a perfect fit. The boning didn't bother me & did help w/shape, but I didn't care either way. It wasn't overly tight or make my skin bunch up in the wrong places.
