I loved the sleeve detail. It such a unique feature to change up the look/feel of a dress.
I love the dress. The color is more of a purple color than a wine/burgundy but it didn't stop me from wearing it and receiving compliments all day. If it was in a color I frequent I would without question buy this dress! Ooo I ordered the 12 but probably should've ordered the 10. Very flattering, high end feel.

I wanted to BUY this dress and actually wish I would've. Fit is great. It's well made and versatile
Being a Sweater material this dress gets warm. The black part underneath is the dress and the grey is a front and back flap. It's not sewn shut on the sides. Still looks great and was so comfortable to wear while still looking put together for work or play.

Went with everything, got tons of compliments and was so easy to wear/use.
I typically like my cross over bags to have a little bit longer of a strap BUT I also have a long torso so it's not the bag, it's me. The front light part of the bag is a fur type material and the black leather is soft and smooth. I loved the clasp on the front vs. a zipper. This is exactly the type of bag I would buy if I didn't have Rent the Runway!!

It was my birthday so...
Great fit. Very flattering! Received compliments all night. I don't wear a ton of sleeved dresses like this which was part of the appeal. It has great detailing and really feels like quality, well structured piece. Two things I care about when looking at mid-high level designs.

Will absolutely rent again. RTR Service exceeded my expectations.
The dress itself was a totally different material than I expected. Not as high end as I would've expected based on the retail price or based on gowns I've bought in the past for $800+. The bottom hem isn't a typical hem it's wavy with a stich finish (you can sort of see it in the picture). I got the 6L and 8L due to availability and was happy because the 6R would've been to short with the 4inch. heels I wore. I wore the 6L dress with the 8L. The belt doesn't buckle, it's just a small silver ball that you push through the hole. It wouldn't matter what size or how loose it fits, it's going to come undone at some point. I ended up using two large safety pins to semi-secure it until the dancing started. Then I put the belt in my clutch and just wore the gown free flowing. I got just as many - if not more - compliments without the belt (it really allowed the cape in the back to stand out) It's a beautiful dress and clearly hangs well.
