My boyfriend and I agree that this is a great dress. The lace was in perfect condition and didnt pull at all. Its an appropriate length and not too fitted so its classy but sexy. I was worried the sheer middle wouldnt be flattering on my curves but I was wrong! Also a beautiful deep red color!

This skirt is beautiful silk and feels amazing, but I think it's made for a taller girl. I'm 5'5" and it fell at my knee before the ruffle that went to mid calf. The proportions made me look much bigger than I am. Also know that the ruffle is very dramatic and accordion style in the front. Sad to send this one back NWT.

This dress is just beautiful, I wanted so badly to wear it to the opera. I'm between a 10 and 12 in dresses, but ordered the 10 as the 12 was unavailable. If I didn't have to sit for hours, it was beautiful for pictures, but I would have needed to size up for comfort. The lace lays beautifully and the dark plum lining is just beautiful.

I rented this to go out on a Friday night. It arrived NWT and in perfect condition, but there is some unique detail around the shoulders that I didn't see in the picture on the model. Ended up looking fine with a nice statement necklace and skinny jeans, but the flare around the hips was very prominent, although flattering on my hourglass frame. Just be aware that this is a statement top - not as subtle as I was hoping for.

I rented this for travel to London and it was my favorite piece for the trip. I was able to easily wear it day to night and I found it easy for a jumpsuit to use the restroom / get ready without assistance. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's very comfortable and flattering even for girls with curves (can't be said for most jumpsuits). This was even comfortable enough to wear on the flight home. Length (5'6" frame) perfect for flats during the day and heels at night.

I loved this dress. Originally rented in a 10, but sized down to 8 (and will likely rent again in a 6), so this dress runs very large (for reference, I'm usually a 10-12). Dress is a nice, sturdy material good for any season, and is knee length. Be aware that you will likely need a cami to make the neckline work appropriate, and the slit adds a nice flare to the dress but does not make it inappropriate at all.

Since joining RTR, I have been a big fan of Carmen Marc Valvo. His dresses are well made and structured and have always fit me well. This dress runs slightly smaller than his usual dress, so for hippy girls is not the most flattering cut. Decided not to wear this because it looked more like a print my grandma would choose and the structure of the sleeves was a little too 80s for me. Surprised so many other 20-something's are raving about this dress.

I rented this dress to take on vacation for a nice dinner out and the fit and comfort was as expected - carmen marc valvo dresses run a bit large so I sized down and the fit was perfect. I was disappointed in the condition of the dress though - there is beautiful lace detail throughout and the dress had quite noticeable pulls throughout. Seems to be an older dress so I wouldn't recommend renting for any event where you want a top quality piece, but if you just like the designer and need a classic dress in a pinch, this will do the trick!
