My favorite rental ever. Not too heavy, not too light - it was perfect to wear to an indoor December wedding in Minnesota. I struggled a little bit to get the dress zipped around the waist band, but that's typical for me. I have a very broad swimmer's back. I experienced some slight rubbing under my arms near my arm pits from the sequins, but it didn't leave a rash & it wasn't painful. I got dozens of compliments all night & thought this hugged my in all the right places, especially my booty - which is never accentuated. Absolutely adored this dress & can't wait to rent again! (I wore 3.5" heels & a NuBra with it.)

I have a broad back & struggled to get the 6 zipped around the waist band. After some help from a friend, wiggling, & tugging, we got it on. The 8 would have been too loose. It was tight under the arm pits. I still loved it for the color & festiveness. I'd rent it again, but probably choose another designer that I know fits me well.

For context -- I'm 5'8", 140#, & my measurements are 34.5", 27.5," & 37.5" :) I always find it helpful when I can find reviews with exact measurements, so I hope this helps someone out there! Absolutely loved this dress. The bust was a little snug but I preferred that to too loose. I wore flats with this dress which was not a problem. The length was just right. Fabric was breathable & actually kept me warm in a frigid reception room. I'd definitely rent this again!

I ordered a 4 & a 6. Ended up with the 6, which is my normal size. Loved the lace sleeves & the built in slip. Beautiful color, especially for a November wedding. You'll definitely need some extra hands to get you in & out of this dress given the zipper in the back!

I should have listened to reviews regarding the dress' thickness. This dress is definitely better suited for a fall or winter wedding given its heavier weight & thick material. With that said, I lucked out in that the temperature was much cooler than normal the night that I wore it, AND it was raining, AND I was out on a boat for a rehearsal dinner! This dress saved my night & kept me warm :) With that said, I felt like I was in between sizes. I'm usually a Size 6 in Lilly dresses. The Size 4 was perfect for my bust & waist, but the Size 6 was longer & fit me better under the arm pits, so I opted to wear it. I think I'd look for alternative dresses, Lilly or otherwise, in the future knowing that I can find a better, more consistent fit.

I really loved the fit of this dress on the top, it's color & it's pattern. It was very appropriate for the bridal shower that I hosted in April. My only complaint is that it made me look a wider in the hips & waist than I truly am. It was nothing drastic, but it looked boxier on me than it does on the model in the stock images. I'll definitely consider renting this designer again, but maybe not this dress.

I absolutely loved this dress & wish that I had been able to keep it. It was perfect for a more formal family function that I had to attend on short notice -- age appropriate & not too flashy but very fun. The internal & external buttons helped hold everything in place, & I appreciated the included belt for added accents. The ruffles were absolutely my favorite part of this dress -- super cute & really made the dress stand out! I plan to rent this dress again for bridal showers & weddings. (Only one complaint: the eye hook clasp at my chest bone was broken, so I was pulling at the top a bit during the evening to ensure nothing was falling out. If I had had a small sewing kit on hand, I could have easily fixed the hook for myself & the next RTR customer.)

I disagree with the other reviewers who think this dress can be dressed up for a more formal affair. This dress is more suitable for a casual wedding, like at a beach, or a bachelorette. I wore it for the latter; it was a destination party in Savannah, GA. I paired the dress with flats for our laid back dinner the first night in town. The single cut out in the back was a fun twist to the modest front. The fabric was light & perfect for the humid weather. My only complaint is that the bottom zipper was very uncomfortable, & I kept having to readjust how I was sitting in my chair at dinner because the zipper dug in to my spine so much. Obviously, this was just a problem given the chair that I was sitting in, but undoubtedly it could happen with other chairs, so just be prepared if you'll be wearing this dress & sitting for a while! I would still rent this dress again for another occasion.

I rented this dress for my friend's bachelorette party in Savannah, GA. I wanted something that would pop but also a little understated -- I'm not a flashy dresser. This dress was perfect for the occasion, & I lucked out because my normal size (6) never arrived due to being returned to RTR damaged. I was pleasantly surprised that this dress fit me as well as it did because I am almost always a Size 6. The material was soft & light, which helped out a lot given the humidity & all of the dancing we were doing. The waist band had the right amount of snugness to make the dress flattering. My only complaint is that the zipper stuck a little bit due to some thread that was coming loose on the waist band. This was easily fixed, but I'd encourage RTR to take a look & make a small repair so that another guest doesn't accidentally break the zipper by tugging hard to get the dress on. Looking forward to renting this dress again some time!

I received this dress as a back up when my back up size in the Black Lace Combo Dress wasn't available. I wore it for my company holiday party in place of another dress I had ordered, & I loved it so much that I rented it again for the following weekend to wear to my sister's college graduation. It was the perfect dress for a semi-formal company event & the graduation ceremony. I'd even wear it for a date night, girl's night out or a fall or winter bachelorette party. I don't recommend it for weddings or more formal affairs, though. The material is soft & has a little give to it. I may have been able to wear a Small except for the fact it would have been too short, so I wore the Medium. A lot of reviewers like the built in slip, but it was pretty clingy to my tights & I found myself tugging at it quite a bit to make sure it wasn't riding up & revealing things that shouldn't be falling out! I'll definitely rent this dress again...& again!

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's company holiday party. I ordered a Size 6 (my normal size), plus the Size 8 as a back up given review feedback. Unfortunately, I found out the day before the order was due to ship that the Size 8 was unavailable due to the prior renter damaging it. I received a different dress as my back up. I so wish that the prior renter hadn't ruined my chance to wear the Size 8! I was able to fit in the Size 6 pretty comfortably, but the arm holes were a tad tight, & the dress was definitely short even when paired with tights. I was pulling on it quite a bit because I was self conscious given the setting (corporate party). I loved the lace overlay & the fun gold sparkles. Hopefully I'll be able to get this dress in the right size next time!

This piece was selected by RTR stylists as a part of a Mystery Bling order. It was a nice piece, but I was surprised that for a $105 retail value item it wasn't a clasp bracelet. Instead, it used elastic. Not that I have anything against elastic bracelets, but this one wasn't that stretchy, & so I really had to work to be careful putting it on. I loved how it sparkled, but even so I'm not sure I'll rent it again. I'll probably try some other jewelry options from RTR!

I loved wearing this dress! I rented it for a late September wedding in Traverse City, Michigan. The blue is a lot more royal in tone than the model's picture shows, but the black lace tones it down to a more navy hue & makes it an appropriate dress for fall, winter or even early spring. The sleeves were not too tight on me at all, & I have broad shoulders. I found the lace to be a lot softer than I expected so the dress was really comfortable to wear. There's a slit in the back by your knees that provides a lot of mobility while busting a move on the dance floor. I am normally a size 6, so I ordered a 42, & one size up (44) for my back-up size. The 42 fit like a glove. Can't wait to rent this dress again! (By the way, I paired this dress with the Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Glam Clutch, which I also highly recommend.)

I rented this clutch for a friend's late September wedding in northern Michigan. The dress that I rented wasn't particularly flashy, so I wanted to accessorize with something that would add a little bling to my attire. This gold mesh clutch suited my needs perfectly. I had space for some credit cards, an ID, my iPhone, some makeup, & my boyfriend's janitor-esque key ring with car keys, house keys, etc attached. This was my first RTR rental & I was happy with my experience. I rented this dress in a size 4, which is my typical dress size, but I picked the size 6 as my back up. I'm so glad that I got a larger size as my back up. The band at the top of the dress was pretty snug & it was difficult for me to get the size 4 over my broad shoulders & back. The size 6 slipped on more easily, but was not so loose on top that I felt like I was pulling at it constantly all night. I wasn't in love with the fit at the bottom; it's wider than how it looks in the pictures, & that's just not my taste. (It made me look a little wider than I really am.) BUT the colors were PERFECT for a beach vacation in Key West, FL, & the fabric was SO comfy & breathable that even though I didn't feel the dress flattered my figure as much as I would have liked, I will still consider renting it again. It was super easy to dress up & down for day & night wear!
