This dress was perfect for a semi formal wedding and received several compliments. The dress covers enough to remain modest but the slit and off shoulder design show just enough off. The top was supportive so I didn't need a bra but the overall dress didn't hug too tight that I was able to get away with no spanx. Quite freeing but fit like a glove. It also breathed just enough that I wasn't sweating up a storm as I love dancing. Though body complimenting, allows flexibility for movement.

Overall I LOVED this dress but I'll start with the Cons; the zipper is oddly placed and true to other reviews, was a pain to pull up all the way. My husband had to help. I honestly don't think I could have worn this dress if I was flying solo to an event. On the Pro side; the color is stunning and the design with the open/cape back will catch eyes. I ordered this for my Rehearsal Dinner- I almost wish I wore it to my wedding!! I went a size up (usually size 10, went with a 12) and the overall fit was very comfortable. I was able to sit down for dinner without any pulling or tugging. I do have a large chest so the dress hugged just a little bit in that area. Bottom Line, I am so happy with this beautiful dress. I recommend it for any formal occasion but just make sure you have extra hands nearby just in case.

I originally ordered another dress in size 8 that arrived on Thursday. But when I tried it on, it was too small and the cleavage area was so tight that it "popped" by chest and not in a flattering way. I couldn't use it for my Engagement photos... Friday morning, I called customer service. A very helpful woman by the name of Alana was quick to help me. They were out of the original dress in my size 10, but I found this dress which is similar. With a few quick clicks of the keyboard, Alana guaranteed the dress would arrive on time for my photo shoot. This dress arrived by noon Saturday (the very next day). We went up to a location called Knapp's Castle in Santa Barbara during sunset and shot away. My fiance, the photographer, friends & family that have seen the resulting photos all compliment the dress. It fit like a glove. It was just modestly long enough for me to wear 3in heels - I always have to because my husband to be is 6'7". I'm very curvy in the hips & bust and it did not pull or feel tight anywhere. In a few shots, I do look more pear shaped because the dress is tight, then flares at the knee but overall I am beyond pleased with this dress and the exceptional customer service I received. I'll definitely order this dress for a formal even in the future as it allows mobility for dancing, hugs in all the right places and the color is stunning.

This dress is a Good News/Bad News Situation. The bad news is that I rented this dress for a wake. While the length is modest, it makes short legged women (like me) look even shorter, especially in flats (wasn't in the mood for heels). The good news is that it fit very comfortably. Maybe a little snug in the chest, but I am big chested, so I just went without a bra and the girls felt better. I wore a shrug over the top for even more modesty as my chest could give a turtle neck cleavage. Overall, I like the dress. Not my favorite in length, but it was appropriate for the occasion and fit very well. Since this wasn't an event I expected comments, I was still pleased when I received a passing "nice dress" from a coworker. Could also be great for a work related party/gathering.

This is my 1st RTR experience and I am very pleased. I wore this to a semi formal wedding. The blue color stands out and draws the right amount of attention (without taking focus of the bride, of course). I received compliments from men & women of how great it looked. "I just wanted to say I love your dress. You look amazing!" Other reviews claim this dress runs small so I was concerned as some size 10 dresses I had tried on at stores fit a little tight. However, I came to find that this dress fit like a glove. I could sit & dance in it very comfortably. I didn't have to wear a bra as the dress had enough support on its own. Runs really long. I wore 5in heels (in pic) and it made the dress the perfect length. Eventually I changed into comfy wedges and although the dress dragged just a hair, the look was still complete. I was concerned about the slits showing too much but it stays modest while showing off the sexy. Again, I'm so happy with this dress but some heads up: shorties will need tall heels or temporary hems and imperfections (pooch bellies, rolls, cellulite) may show so you may want to consider spanks. Other than that, prepare to own the event with this piece!!
