Renter beware
Not only does this dress run exceedingly small (I’m a size 4/6 and the medium was very snug), but it has this dumb designer signature as part of the pattern all over the dress. Didn’t even bother trying on the backup Large for that reason alone.

Such a strange cut
Thankfully this order shipped earlier (a full week earlier) than I needed it, so I had time to find a replacement. The cut of this dress was bizarre. Ordered my usual size, but this was really big on top and snug through the waist & hips. The top part is so wide and oversized, I looked like a linebacker.

This was my favorite rental by far! I wore it to a gala. I got both a size 6 and 8. Both fit but the 8 gave me a liiiiiitle more room than the 8 so I went with comfort. It looks so rich in person! The burgundy is gorgeous, the lace is heavy and elegant, and I felt like a million bucks. Compliment after compliment! Wish I owned it. My only feedback – not about the dress – is that RTR needs to better inspect their shipping bags. The plastic insert where the address label goes is always so banged up and discolored, it's a wonder how these dresses make it to their destinations.

Everything you've read about this dress is true!
Having gained a few lbs over the past couple months, I may have been a bit too optimistic hoping to fit into my usual 6. The 8 was much more comfortable, so I wore that instead. This dress is the most gorgeous color, and the hemline and details at the right shoulder make it even more special. I wore a regular bra, no problem. Very easy dress to wear.

Beautiful shade of gold, just wish it was a bit roomier inside.
Nice shade of gold -- not too yellow. Easy to carry. I just couldn't fit a whole lot in there. Gum, lip gloss, money, ID, and an iPhone 6S. Anything larger than that wouldn't fit. Other than that, it did its job.

I found the post to be really thick, but the earring itself isn't too heavy so once it was in, it didn't bother me. Overall just ok.

Adorable, unique and comfortable!
I received so many compliments! It does run smalI so size up for your backup, as other renters have said. The 8 fit slightly better in the top, but seemed a lot poofier on the bottom than the 6, so I sized down. The back is low so I wore a low-back bra adapter with a regular bra. I was also able to wear a Squeem waist cincher without it showing. And the pockets were so much fun! Overall, I was very happy with this adorable dress and would definitely recommend it.

Sexy without being trampy

Shapeless and disappointing
I got this in both a 4 and a brand-new 6. The 4 was snug through the hips. The 6 was fine through the hips but huge on top. It's a shapeless, shiny, "look at me!" dress -- a tough look to pull off. I sent them both back right away and RTR overnighted a replacement. Great customer service! I think if you're tall and skinny, and don't wear anything over a size 4, this could be cute. If you wear anything over a size 6, I think it's just too much *everything* to be flattering.

Great-looking LBD
What a great dress! I wore this to a "mom's night out" fundraiser for my daughter's school. Definitely runs small. I'm between a 4 and a 6 in most dresses and was squeezed into this within an inch of my life. The arm holes are a bit big, so the fact that I was sausaged into it accentuated some baggy fat on the backside of my arms/shoulder. And the previous renter neglected to return the belt, but RTR let me know before it shipped and made good on it by crediting me back the cost of the dress, so YAY for their customer service. I had my own skinny black belt already, so I was good to go.
