I ended up not wearing this dress which was disappointing. The overall fit was perfect. However it just needed a few inches of fabric at the bottom. For me I felt it was too short for my age (47) and "sticky-outy" which wouldn't have been so noticable with a few inches of extra fabric. I am 5'5. The RTR photo shows how the folds of the dress stick out on the sides. Just take that into consideration whether you can pull that look off or not. I couldn't. A similar dress that I have worn but wasn't available in my size is the Temperly London Black Pepper which is longer and might be a good alternative if you need the same look but longer. I gave this 4 stars because of the length.

I ordered the size 4 which is my normal size. It fit my frame perfectly though was a tad snug on the top portion. As others have pointed out the arm holes are very small which is along the same line as the bust area which was tight but not uncomfortable. Take this into consideration and size up if you are bigger in these areas. The 6 wasn't available when I ordered this one so I can't compare.The fabric is thick which means you can't see through it at all if the light is behind you. The lower half is just so darn fabulous in that it flows, has movement when you walk and just lays beautifully all the way around. And an added bonus: you can wear your normal undergarments! No magic, convertible undergarments needed! My photo is from the end of the night and you can see, perhaps, that there are no wrinkles! Can't wait to rent this dress again.

I ordered a size 4/42 which is my normal size. The top was way too big for my 32D upper half. I ended up wearing my second dress instead because this one was so baggy and hung kindof straight. The fabric, however, is very light weight which would work well for warm weather. I took a closer photo to show the outside layer of the entire dress which is tule. You can also see that the waist is very plain and is about 33 inches to the bottom of the dress/hem line incase the length is a question.
