Headline says it all. This dress runs big around the top, but small around the hips. Because of that, each time you try to yank it down, you'll have a handful of feathers in your hand. While I looked fabulous, it was less than comfortable and ended up being a chore with full cleanup.

As other reviews say, the sheer fabric irritates a bit. Before I even left my hotel for the wedding my chest and armpit areas were already red and itchy. Cocktail hour helped me get through that pretty quickly 😈 The dress itself was fine otherwise. The skirt is very poofy which is great for my fellow pear shaped ladies and makes for fun moves on the dance floor and the color was just perfect for a late summer/early fall wedding in Newport. Thanks RTR!

Had a Mad Men themed birthday party and at the 11th hour couldn't find a dress. RTR to the rescue ...as always! It was a very comfortable dress with POCKETS (+10) and perfect regardless of which decade you're dressing for. I give it a 10 for comfort, but I really was the cutest one at the party because of it :)

Got SO many compliments on this (at a Veuve Clicquot polo match no less)! Very comfortable fit without sacrificing formality for whatever event you'll be wearing it at. Perfect for summer dress for any kind of event/party! It was, however, just a little loose on top for my less busty friends

Question: How does one balance the formality of black tie and evening wear with an outdoor summer wedding? Answer: This dress. When my college girlfriend decided to have a black tie wedding in AUGUST I was struggling to find a good match that respected the tone of the event, but still played up on the final fun weeks of summer. After hours of browsing my friends' closets, I stumbled across this RTR gem after just 20 minutes on the site. The Lily Pulitzer-esque print and Gatsby brooch on the shoulder turned dozens of heads throughout the day/evening and it was SO COMFORTABLE. Definitely recommend this for any formal affair!

Wore this gem for 2012 New Years in NYC while hosting my college girlfriends from out of town. It was as stunning on as it is on the RTR Model (and that says a lot!!) The only downside was the fabric/material was a little uncomfortable and also got caught on my necklace so I wouldn't recommend wearing any neck jewelry if you're not willing to risk the health of your dress or jewelry but honestly, this outfit doesn't need much to dress it up. RTR also provided the NYE crown pictured as well as some cute holiday items and a handwritten note. They THEN offered to sell me the dress for a steal of $85 the next day. I turned it down, but talk about retail remorse. Biggest regret as all my girlfriends who saw the picture still ask if they can borrow it!
