Would have liked it a little shorter. Sleeves ran really long. Used hemming tape to shorten the sleeves about 4 inches. The feather trim moulted a lot - like leaving a trail of breadcrumbs. 

This was such a fun dress. It was perfect for a winter event.  It was a little shorter so I went with the larger size but the length is what makes it sexy.  I received a top of compliments on this dress.  The feathers did fall off a bit.  

OBSESSED with this dress. I want to buy it or at the very least rent it again! It was so classic but the feathers made it stand out. It was so comfortable yet structured , and showed off legs for anyone with good legs! Can't wait to wear it again

This dress was PERFECT for our Mad Hatter's Charity Ball!  The dress was a little tighter around the middle than a normal shift dress, but I was totally ok with it! It was pretty short (I wore shorts underneath to be safe) And I also left a trail of feathers almost everywhere I went.  Overall, this dress and the whole RTR experience was amazing!! Highly recommended!!!

The dress is really short and doesnt have any give. I wore an opague tight and it worked. It was my back up dress but my first  choice never made it.

I wore this at the beginning of my second trimester.  The dress was kind to my bump.  It is VERY short.  I don't know that it would be fun for a night out dancing because of the length but was fine for a sit down dinner.  

Dress kept me warm on a freezing night, but since I was wearing tights, the skirt rode up a bit. Quite a lot of feather shedding too. But, overall a fun, flattering, and forgiving fit. 

I loved the look of this dress. It runs true to size. I am 5'7", 145lbs and this dress was too short to wear with anything but leggings. I added over the knee boots for a winter look. The feathers were falling out a lot, but overall I thought it was really cute for New Years Eve. 

Great fit, short on me (but i have a long torso and long legs), but still totally fun for going out in! It was perfect for my birthday party.

Beautiful fit, but VERY short. The festhers were shorter in the back and they fall off every where but the sexy factor was off the charts!

This dress was a perfect fit for my body type! It was my backup, so I wore it to brunch the next day.  The fit was comfortable- loose but not shapeless because of my boobs.  I loved the length - not too long on my 5'4" frame and just below my fingertips. I didnt shed feathers until I sat in the car with it on. 

This dress is amazing! The fabric is substantial and feels very high quality. The feathers are super fun! The sleeves run a bit long but you can make it work. Perfect for our night out in Las Vegas!!! 

Fun dress for 1920s party. It's a bit baggy through the middle so went with smaller size. Fun sleeves and the feathered bottom was fabulous! It does shed a bit but nothing too bad. Would recommend!

Loved wearing this fun dress to a holiday party.  It is well-made and comfortable, even with a third trimester baby bump.  I would rent this again for sure!

Very slenderizing, the design is perfect for those with a short torso.

Fit was very comfortable.  The only con was that the feathers kept falling off.  I had a trail of feathers everywhere I went.  It's short but not too short ..very fun dress! 

As most reviews said, the top is a bit loose, but still tailored and classy looking. The skirt part with the feathers is where the fun is. I loved wearing that dress for a night out. Note that I lost some feathers during the night, which was kind of weird. But good quality dress overall.

This dress was so much fun to wear! I wore it to a friends engagement party. I received so many compliments on it. It was very comfortable. Like other reviews I also experienced the feathers falling out. I would absolutely rent this dress again! 

The dress was great! The fit was a little tight around the hips (I had to keep pulling it down) and a bit looser up too, but overall, it worked well. 

I rented this dress and a jumpsuit for a cocktail party I was going to. I ended up wearing the jumpsuit because I liked the color better. I will definitely rent this dress to wear somewhere in the future. It fit so well and was comfortable! The feathers did shed some, even when trying on. 

Obsessed with this super fun dress! I'm just shy of 5'7 with a short torso and long legs, and this baby is short! It fits as a shift dress, with no stretch to it, so be careful raising your arms above your head :) Fun to dance in... Good for any and all body types and hides anything you want to hide (except those legs!) If you are between sizes, size down. Very easy and fun dress to wear!  Love it so much that I will buy it if it goes on the clearance sale!

Great rental! I wanted it to fit like a true shift dress. Fits great in the bodice but definitely tight around the hips, which is why I went with the bigger size. Would rent again. 

The dress is very fun to wear.  Like others mentioned the fringe sheds.  The sleeves were long and wide.  I just found small bracelets to wear on each arm. Glad I decided to give Rent the Runway a try.  If I ever have an event to attend and need a dress I am going to check here. 

Fun, feathery dress. Loved mixing it with subtle gold chokers and a bold red lip. Was great for my work Christmas party but won't be renting again. Fit not great overall- snug around the hips and baggy around the chest/shoulders/arms. 


I rented this dress for a black-tie charity event in New York City that was held at a nightclub. I live in Southern California, so I decided to have the dress shipped to the flatiron store and pick it up there, so that I didn't have to deal with taking the dress on the plane with me. Picking up from the store was relatively easy (the only problem was that the store was overcrowded and understaffed, so it took a while and I didn't have time to wait for a dressing room to try the dress on before I left). If the store was less crowded I would have tried this on and probably still chosen to take it home instead of exchanging it - it does fit tight through the hips but it was manageable and the feathers were so cute in person! This dress was great because it worked well for the event and I was able to wear it out to a bar afterward without looking totally out of place. I chose a short dress because I am tall and love to wear heels, so I didn't have to worry about the right length on a long gown. I would definitely rent this dress again but might choose to grab size 8 and size 10 just to compare - the 6 was really small in the hips on me and very short!

I wore it 2 months after having my third baby and it was flattering and made me feel pretty. 
Be warned - it is SHORT! I'm only 5'4" and I wore with very thick tights and still felt a little self-conscious. 


This dress was amazingly comfortable! I rented it for a Gatsby themed party I attended, and it was perfect. I rented a 4 and a 6. The 4 is what I ended up wearing, but I felt it was still a bit big. The fit is supposed to be a loose fit, which I loved, but the sleeves were a bit too loose. My favorite part was the feathered bottom! I read that the feathers fell out easily, but I didnt have that experience at all. I was dancing all night and didnt lose any feathers. I got compliments all night long, too! Definitely a great pick!

I typically wear a 6 in dresses but i ordered the 8 as a backup and ended up wearing that because the 6 was very small and didn't go over my hips. the 8 was snug around my hips but the feathers covered the bottom and you couldn't see it was tight. I wore it for a Maris gras party and I got so many compliments. it is probably one of my favorite items I have ordered from RTR and I have an unlimited membership as well. The bell sleeves were super cute and the feathers made it fun to dance in. the feathers did fall out but it didn't bother me that much. 

Loved this look. Was perfect for a bachelorette weekend. Feathers did shed :) 

The zero was too tight around the butt, so I wore the 2! But it was so fun for a NYE wedding!! The feathers do shed a little bit.

I loved this dress.  However, the fit wasn't perfect. It was a bit baggy in the arms/top, and then tight around the hips. Also, those feathers! It was a bit embarrassing having them fall off and leaving a trail of feathers behind me. I wouldn't rent again, but it was cute! 

The dress itself was a little snug for a shift but still very comfortable. However, you surely wouldn't want to bend over in it as it was surprisingly short. Overall I loved the dress, it was perfect for the black tie brunch I attended, and I received many compliments throughout the day!

Mixed reviews on this dress - I loved the feathers, which balanced out the plain top portion. It fit very much like a shirt dress, very loose and a little boxy on someone without curves - but I got a lot of compliments on the feathers. It 
unfortunately didn't stand out in photos as much as I thought, feathers didn't come out so it just looked like a black dress with an uneven bottom because the venue was somewhat dark, but in person lots of compliments!
