Great, bright color!
I rented this for a charity event that I am on the planning committee for. My goal was to wear something fun, but not too risque/tight because I'd have a lot of professional contacts there. This dress definitely achieved what I was hoping for - great color (BRIGHT!) and the cut is my absolute favorite type to wear (if you're a fan of your shoulders/arms... this dress is a great option). Tons of compliments!

I rented this for a family wedding (in April) - my goals were to be classy without looking blah/stuffy and be able to chase my 4.5 + 2.5-year-old daughters around the dance floor without worrying about my dress showing more of me than I intended to. Success. I'm short (5'3"), so I wasn't sure how the length would look, but with heels (3.5 in), the length ended up being perfect. As other reviews pointed out, the sheerness of the skirt isn't quite as obvious as the RTR photo makes it seem, but that was fine for me. Super comfortable and all of the ladies at the wedding loved it! I paired it with a statement necklace to add some pop to it.

I was struggling to decide and ended up with the perfect dress!
I've rented Elizabeth and James MANY times and love it, love it. My upper body (arms) is the area I choose to "feature" when making a decision on a dress and the cut of this dress didn't disappoint. The fabric is thick, so you do have a bit of forgiveness of any unwanted curves you want to conceal, but not a TON - it definitely hugged my body through the waist. I'm short (5'3" on a good day) and I wore 4 inch heels and the length was okay; I had to lift it a bit when walking up/down stairs, but I'm used to having to do that, so wasn't a big deal.

Perfect for a more formal wedding!
I received MANY compliments throughout the night - great colors. I'm a huge fan of the cut of the top portion of this dress - if you like to show off your shoulders/arms, this will definitely do that! The material is thick, so it arrived a wrinkled, but I was able to fix that at home with an iron. The size I had (0R) still provided a bit of room to be able to move (and eat!) and was comfy; the length was perfect for someone like me who typically chooses to wear 4-inch heels with dresses - but, beware, the R is long if you don't like to wear a higher heel. Hubby liked it too, so that's always good! ;)

I'm a dedicated renter and finally took the plunge on the unlimited - love it! This dress was perfect for an office setting - length was good (I'm 5'3" and wear 3.5-inch heels) and it hugged just right, not too tight for an office day-to-day.

First post-baby event needed an amazing dress!
This dress is amazing - body-hugging, for sure, but the material is thick enough to provide a tiny bit of "forgiveness" for imperfections. The pink color was gorgeous and the cut of the top portion of the dress works wonders on your shoulders if you like to show them off. I received tons of compliments all night!

First rental after baby #2!
This dress was great - I wore a size 4 two months after having my second baby (normally a size 0/2) and it fit great - and was forgiving of any baby weight that's still lingering. I wore this for a NYE wedding and it was fun enough for the NYE part of the night and classy enough for the wedding aspect as well. Received tons of compliments!

Great, bright color for a summer wedding!
Being 6.5 months pregnant, I wasn't sure what dress was going to be as bump-friendly as I was wanting. When I was notified that my original first choice dress hadn't come back in time to make its way to me, I was stressing about choosing another option. I went with this dress and crossed my fingers. It was a great choice! There's plenty of room for a bump of any size and it was comfortable and light (wedding was in-doors.) Tons of compliments from guests all night! I'm short (5'3" flat foot) and wore 3.5 inch heels... and the dress was a bit long on me. Not a big deal, just had to make sure I wasn't stepping on it throughout the night.

I wore this dress to an annual charity event that I am on the planning committee for. As a bachelor/bachelorette date auction, the mood of the event is fun, trendy and busy! I had multiple women come up to me throughout the night asking about my dress. The fit: this is definitely a TIGHT fit (I am typically a size 0 and the small was tight... the XS would never have fit.) But, the tight fit makes sense for the style, print and the cool accent on the shoulders. Would rent again if it wasn't so memorable for others! :)

Fall wedding perfection!
LOVED this dress! The material is soft and a gorgeous color. It's not super thin material and does have a liner in the skirt portion of the dress, which I always appreciate. I'm short but had on 4-inch heels and thought the longer length was perfect. I was initially concerned that the see-thru sides and back may be too "sexy" for a wedding, but it was perfect. I did not wear a bra with it and the top was tight enough that it didn't matter and looked/felt just fine. Lots of compliments!

The color really stood out!
This dress was very cute, length was wedding-appropriate and felt classic. My one complaint is that the material is very thick - I wore this for an outdoor, summer wedding (read: 88-degrees and zero wind) and any sweat that touched the dress could easily be seen.

Perfect for a fun girls' night out!
I rented this for a summer night out with friends in Chicago. Perfect style for a night the started with dinner at a stylish restaurant and ended with a dance party. The fit is true to size - great cut on the upper-body (my arms/shoulders looked great!) and the flare skirt is fun!

Perfect dress for my annual work awards ceremony!
I wore this dress for an awards ceremony for work - the "theme" of the night was "sparkle" and the dress fit in well! The sparkle wasn't SO MUCH that it was distracting; it was just the right amount. In certain lights, the dress looks black and in other lights you can really catch the gold part to the sparkle as well. Definitely short, but I'm 5'3 and had 3.5 inch heels on and it was perfect. (BTW - If you're not a fan of shoulder pads, I would skip this one.)

Compliments galore on the color!
I rent this dress for a charity event that I am on the committee for. It's not a "formal" event, but people definitely dress to impress. I was receiving compliments all night on the color of the dress - it's a beautiful green color that really stands out in a crowd. (Side note: I was 4 months post-baby, so I rented this dress hoping for a tiny bit of give/shift in the tummy region and it worked out perfectly.)

The purple color of this dress is beautiful! This was 1 of 2 dresses that I rented for a huge charity event and I actually didn't end up wearing it - BUT, my friend loved it and decided to wear it! She looked beautiful! (She is on the left in the photo.) (When I tried it on, I felt that the way the top part of the dress fit my body just wasn't quite right - but, still a good dress.)

I rented this dress for a wedding in Vegas. The wedding was at a small, quiet, off-the-strip sort of place, so it worked. Fit isn't tight, fits true to size. The way the flowers pull out from the fabric of the dress is interesting.

Cute, but not quite enough!
Based on the model, I wasn't expecting this dress to hug the body, but I was a bit disappointed with how loose it was in the waist area. Cinching the waist with a cute belt helped the look, but I ultimately went with my backup rental. Nothing wrong with the dress - just not for me.

On time, great quality upon arrival - just like always!
I rented this as part of my 30th birthday celebration weekend. This dress fits true to size. The colors were vibrant and something different than just your average black dress. I'm short (5'3) so the length was perfect on me, but if you are lucky enough to have more height and aren't a fan of showing off your legs, may not be the best option. I paired this with black tights (Minneapolis in January is cold!!) and black Michael Kors suede pumps and everyone loved it!

Good dress - length is definitely short (I'm short, so this wasn't a big deal for me.) For my waist/height, the fit was perfect, but the cleavage was intense... which, for my husband, looked amazing! I typically have no concerns about that, but some more reserved/conservative ladies might. I don't think I would rent again, but it was good for one night!
