My Cup Runneth Over
Loved the pattern, the fabric, the pockets, the length. Had enough structure to wear without a bra. It’s the lowest-cut Lilly I’ve ever worn, and I love showing my chest. It felt like too much bosom for a day dress, and I didn’t want to spoil the neckline with a camisole or tube top. Fit perfectly. A larger size would have shown even more, I’m afraid. Under a C cup should be fine. Not taking off stars because of it; a terrific dress.

Came with the tags attached. I wasn’t sure about the ruffle around the edge of the armhole. It wasn’t an obnoxious ruffle. The skirt was not too long (I’m 5-6) or voluminous like some Lillys can be. Like most Lilly prints, this dress is more hot pink in person than sweet pink as seen on the model. Loved wearing it.

Stripes aren't usually my thing. These are cleverly angled to make the most of your assets. Rent this dress if you need to lose 10 lbs because the weight disappears when you put it on. :-)

Unspectacular
Generally, the price of a dress gives some idea of the quality. The retail price of this dress seems way off. The elastic smocking throughout the dress ensures that it will follow the curves of the body, but it also ensures that it will pull up or down, depending on your curves. It's the kind of inexpensive looking dress you might find at a summer beach shop or discount store. The red was a beautiful shade, flattering to blonde hair and medium skin tones.

Unwearable
There were no straps or any elastic in the sleeves to hold them on my arms. They literally dropped down, as if someone had removed the elastic. I even tried twisting the fabric to make them stay on my shoulders. The fabric was pretty and I had hoped to wear it on vacation but had to send it back.

Thin But Warm
This is not a bulky sweater. It's an open weave, so you probably want to wear a thin layer under it. It's warm for its weight but if you live in cold climates this will not do. I live in the south and wore it with a cami. Itched a little. I prefer snug fitting sweaters and it was fine in arms/shoulders but there were gaps all the way down the buttons.

Smells Like Teen Spirit
Beautiful, shiny, leather bag with magnetic close. Strap is plain leather, not shiny. Striking shade of red. Inside pockets help keep essentials handy. But the purse smells like weed to me. RTR has responsive customer service, and shipped a replacement bag to me, but it smelled funny, too. I'm guessing it's dye. Two friends agreed with me about the smell, although they didn't think it was overpowering. Every time I pick up or open the bag, the movement creates a stronger smell. It probably wouldn't disturb me as much if this wasn't the time of year when I'm visiting relatives. The purse is definitely worth renting, just be advised it might smell strange.

Dress Up or Down
If you weigh under 170 pounds, get the small. I didn't trip on the hem but if I was a half-inch shorter, I might have. Others mentioned wearing this as a beach cover-up. It's fine for that, but you can also dress it up to resort-level dinner and dancing with the right shoes and jewelry, and as long as you don't get a larger size. Fabric is very comfortable, with adjustable shoulder straps. I had a silk Lilly tube top which I wore underneath, much more comfortable than a strapless bra. Definitely worth renting if you are trying not to overpack for a vacay. Can be worn many ways.

Skirt has short white underskirt and a front split in fabric, showing leg when you walk, and you can't help but want to show off in this dress. The split-fabric style makes it a little less formal. It's a fine black-tie dress, but because it doesn't have glitter/sparkle, it's a cool dress for less-formal occasions: wedding guest, resort dinner, prancing around your house like an old-style Hollywood star. The dress is huge. I'm almost 140 lbs and 5-5" and the small was too big in the torso. Deep plunge front. You can probably get away without wearing a bra if your girls are C cup or below, and firm. The back of the dress is covered and there are snaps inside the shoulders for bra straps, but the bra would have to have teeny straps, so what's the point. This dress looks equally whether you are standing up, sitting down, or reclining on a settee with a martini in your hand.

Low, Low, Low (Cut)
One of my favorite things about DVF dresses is that they are low-cut and show off the bustline. So I was expecting this dress to be low-cut like the several others I have rented from Rent the Runway. But ... this one was way below. I wore a lacy tube bra but it spoiled the simplicity. The dress was also a different fabric in the skirt from others, and looked matched strangely from front to back. Plus, steaming didn't remove the wrinkles; had to iron it on heavy steam.

Love At First Sight
The dress is really charming, and I expect wearability 4 seasons of the year. The silk fabric is lined, and super comfortable. The pattern has a slight peasant/folklore look without being crazy. It was a great airline travel dress and does not wrinkle easily. Hope RTR continues to have Parker dresses. They are gorgeous and well-made.

Not As Perfect As I'd Hoped
I re-rented this dress in a smaller size but still felt like I was wearing a tent. The material had a crepe-like finish, yet I had to steam it not once but twice, the night before and the morning of. And it was brand new, tags still attached. Even though the dress wasn't tight, and was lined, my underwear outlines showed through. I had to experiment with Spanx and different bras to get a smooth look. The lining felt like cotton, so it was clingy against undergarments. The sleeve cuffs were cute and the arms were nicely cut. The rest of the dress didn't do anything for my figure. It seems like maybe a good dress to choose if you are chunky. It looked shapeless on me, and with the neckline button, a scarf or necklace would not help the look. I really wanted this to work. A dress at this price level shouldn't be such a pain. I had to try this one in two sizes, and at the same time it took three tries to get a particular Kate Spade purse that wasn't dirty. Not a very joyful RTR experience and I was not offered anything to make up for my troubles.

Cute/Classy Hybrid
I loved the "cuteness" factor of this dress but it IS a DVF, so the dress has sophistication as well. Pockets large enough to hold a smartphone. A fabric belt that can be tied in a bow or knot, front or back. And my favorite feature, the wrap style of the neckline, has curved fabric to fit over your bra, which is both useful and stylish. So while the style is low-cut, it's not so wild that you couldn't wear it to church or a family gathering. You'll look sexy though. I ordered another DVF dress at the same time in the same size that was a bit snug, no doubt on purpose. This dress was true to size and I wouldn't size up because the neckline might gap open. Very comfortable. The skirt has a slight pouf to it, which accentuates the waistline. The dress arrived brand new, tags still on.

Beautiful Color and Fabric
The top is more gray and less purple than it appeared on my screen. A nice neutral. Mine still had the tag on it, so it was new. No matter how I positioned the blouse, it flopped open at every turn. I didn't have time to buy fashion tape so I just wore a bra that was the same color. This top dresses up a pair of casual pants, so it's a good piece for travel. I know it's supposed to be flowing but there was plenty of material. Order a size down.

Pretty Fabric But Not Designed for Movement
I wanted to love this dress, because the fabric was so pretty, but the cut of the dress below the waist was strange. It wasn't bohemian folds of cloth, it was fitted like a sack and the extra material just hangs there and makes you look like you're wearing a dress 3 sizes too big.

Snuggly Yet Sexy
Wore this on a warm fall day that turned chilly by dinner time. Flattering fit, and the graphic design pattern gave the dress a presence that didn't require a lot of accessorizing. Didn't need ironing. I have sensitive skin and yet this fabric didn't itch me. I could have slept in it!!

Works for dressy and casual events
I was expecting a "sportier" dress because of the pattern, and was impressed by the "swishiness" of the flared, lined skirt. It gave it an elegance that made the dress perfect for an upscale restaurant and a cocktail party later. Both the top and bottom part of the dress have a side zipper. There is no "squeezing" into this dress. If you are above a C-cup, don't try renting this, because you won't be able to close the zipper. The bottom is more forgiving if your legs are larger, but you need a trim waist to wear the dress. Definitely be honest with yourself about your size when renting. If you weigh 150 lbs, you aren't a size 2, honey!! I rented a "statement" necklace with turquoise beads, but on me, the best look was a delicate chain necklace. I searched all over NYC and the Internet for this dress, and I didn't really have the budget to buy it. Thank you RTR for letting me wear this gorgeous dress for one night! I'll definitely be renting more Mara Hoffman.

Pretty in Pink
This purse was the perfect size for me, not too big or too small. It held my matching Kate Spade wallet, and other items such as a makeup bag. I loved the daintiness of the color. I bought a pink Kate Spade wallet for better visibility in my handbags but the color in a handbag didn't seem to coordinate with many of my outfits. I'm glad I rented this handbag instead of buying it. As cute as the bag was, I didn't wear it as much as I thought I would. I would definitely rent the style in another color.

Effortless
Three people stopped me to compliment this dress. My husband liked it, and jokingly referred to the cutout portion as the "belly hole." It was a tad long on me and I had to wear my 4-inch platforms so I wouldn't trip (I'm 5.5"). It's probably easy for most people to find a bra to wear with this dress. I tried on a tube bra and a regular bra and both peeked out of the back. Rather than try on other bras, I just went without. The fabric was supportive enough. The fabric is a busy print so you don't need a statement necklace. The dress is plainer at the top, which I liked, it didn't look too "tropical" for a business lunch. The cutout is cute; you won't feel overexposed.

Wanted To Keep It On All Day!
Actually, I did wear the dress all day. No steaming needed, came out of the RTR bag looking great. Wore it to a breakfast at 8 am, all the way to dinner at 8 pm, and even after my 30 minute nap, it still looked fresh. The black "racing stripes" down the sides give it a trendy look. It's not see-through or lightweight; however I felt like a belt would weigh it down visually so I went without one. A great summertime dress that will transition perfectly to fall with black boots.

Sweet Little Dress
This dress was so much fun to wear, it had more purple in it then the photo appeared on my screen. It was a lot of fun to wear with heels for a restaurant date and then with flats for a shopping excursion. You need a cute strapless bra to wear with it. This could definitely go into fall with a leather jacket and boots. Requires a quick steam if you wear it a second time. A small fit me just fine.

Perfect Travel Dress
Great dress for travel -- holds up to a day of planes, trains and automobiles. It had belt loops but did not come with a belt. I didn't wear one while traveling, the dress is fitted nicely through the waist. When I wore the dress again, I paired it with a Michael Kors woven belt and Charles David platforms. I needed at least 2-inch heels to keep it from tripping me. This is a great all-occasion dress to rent if you aren't sure what your day or night holds. It's casual, it's dressy, and OMG it has 4 pockets.

Flattering Fit
It wasn't until I shared this photo on social media of my cat photobombing me, that I noticed the design of the cat's face on the torso of the dress. This dress has a distinctive, deep cut of the armholes that accentuates the arms and shoulders. There's nothing wrong with the dress; the armholes aren't too big, as other reviewers have noted. It just might not be to everyone's taste. Wearing a bra that peeks out isn't bad; wearers should choose a lacy bra that's meant to be seen. The rayon fabric is cool and perfect for late summer, up into early fall with a sweater. I loved the dress and wore it twice. However, I saw at least a dozen of them on the clearance rack at a department store, while shopping with friends, which immediately cut the wow factor for me. It's Rent the Runway, not Rent the Clearance Rack.

Too Much Polyester
Very disappointed. I really wanted this to work. The design is cute but the fabric (polyester) is all wrong. It was way too big in the torso. The blousy look was not attractive with a zipper close. The front and back pockets showed through the material, which made the jumpsuit look cheap. The fabric was a coarse polyester, and was wrinkled out of the plastic, which is never a good sign of how the garment will wear. Maybe some Spandex would have added some shape. Sending it right back.

Holds A Ton of Stuff
You can seriously fit a change of clothes in this purse! It came to me brand new, smelling great. The little hands on the straps were so cool, and there was a keychain that snapped inside with a hand on it, too. I used this as a travel purse, and carried a pair of flats along with a wallet and other items. The side pockets had a magnetic close, which I liked. If you look the purse up on Nordstrom's website, it has a cool photo of everything that will fit inside the purse. In the end, though, I got tired of carrying a heavy purse with short straps. It comes with a long strap, but I don't like to have both, because the short handles get in the way. This is definitely a great purse for city travel. It's classy enough for work but interesting enough for evening.

Great For Sightseeing
I wore this while acting like a tourist in Manhattan. The romper, my first since third grade, looked much more sophisticated than the last one, and the silk fabric was ultra comfortable. I didn't like the fabric belt, and it was sewn in, so I had to tuck it behind a belt of my own. Next time I'll choose a wider belt to hide the fabric belt. White or red accessories make this stand out. I wanted to wear it more than once, but after one hot summer day in Manhattan, it was more worn out than me. Would love to own this. I probably could have worn a small.

Dreamy!
I chose 2 dresses for a special occasion and wore another one. I'm an Unlimited customer, so I held on to this one until I had another party to attend. The rose gold color is very flattering to most lighter complexions, and the dress was super comfortable, with no special undergarments needed. I wore with nude satin strappy sandals, and combination gold/silver earrings. I think it looks better on curvier women but I'm biased of course.

Totally my mistake, I rented this in a hurry from my iPad. I thought it was shiny leather but when I opened the box I saw what it really was. Animal hair. A gorgeous bag but the "fur" was too hot for me for summer. Will definitely be in my Unlimited rotation when cool weather arrives.

Great "Errand" Bag AND Date Bag
Perfect pink tote. I found myself planning my daily wardrobe around this color so I wouldn't have to change bags. The hot pink is lovely. I enjoyed carrying a bag that can hold a sweater, because some restaurants and shops will freeze you. I didn't like the fact that it was unlined, and didn't look good unless you had something stiff like a big magazine inside to "fill it out." But I had a lot of fun with this bag, and I definitely recommend it for weekend trips or casual events.

Lovely Replacement Dress
I had to pick this dress in a hurry. The dress I ordered came with a broken zipper. What can I say that hasn't already been said? The fit description of the dress is very accurate. The zipper description that many other reviewers noted was true for me. I could NOT zip up this dress by myself, so I wouldn't rent unless you have someone with you to zip. (My athletic 6'5" husband struggled mightily with it.) You will not need a bra, the top has a bra built in. If you are less than a C cup, you may be "swimming around." The color was beautiful and head turning and the dress was comfortable. I wore with purple earrings and pashmina, no necklace. I had to steam iron the top layer, but no big deal.

Perfect Celebration Dress
I wore this dress for my birthday dinner at a NYC restaurant. I didn't want to wear black or white, and this bright teal was a flattering color with my hair and skin tones, and looked great in late afternoon sun and nighttime. The cut of the dress was very slenderizing -- the style was classy, not cute. I found a great necklace in the markdown section at H&M ($7). The bow detail of the dress brings attention upward; nothing more was needed to express, "Admire my neck and bosom!" My bra strap peeked out a little but it didn't bother me. A strapless bra would fix that. The material was midweight and silky, perfect for spring and summer, even hot days.

Classy dress, perfect for nice dinner or cocktail party
The dress was very comfortable and I kept thinking of excuses to wear it more than once. The color is very flattering to all skin tones. The skirt is poufy and in the photo you can see me trying to hold it down. It's not because of fear that the skirt will fly up above my waist, it's too substantial for that. I was worried about becoming airborne, : ) Very happy with this rental and would buy it, if there weren't so many other dresses to try.

Clever Strap Design
This bag made me LOVE Elizabeth and James. So clever. Rather than have two omnipresent straps, one always getting in the way, this bag features a solid, removable strap. For daytime, you use that strap, and tuck the silver one in. At night, completely remove the black strap, and use the silver chain, which was sturdy and didn't pick at my clothes. The purse openings were secure. You could keep the flap side against your body, and still have the zipper pocket toward the outside, handy for keys. And the leather was just exceptionally soft. It was so hard to return this purse, and I will probably rent it again, if I see it in another color.
