 I usually wear a size 4, but got both the 2 and the 4 and went with the 2.  The sleeves were so pretty and it was comfortable all evening.  Perfect for any Party!  I wore a nude bralette underneath and it was perfect.  I would rent this a million times, if I didn't have my picture taken in it!  All the comments from others who wore this dress really helped me make the right sizing decisions.

This dress is a great for a an all white party or even a bridal shower. There is plenty of room in the bust so I would recommend sizing down if you have a smaller chest. The sleeves are great too if you are self conscious about your arms. 

Material and fit was excellent. The dress was a little short for a work dinner. The back inside lining was detached or dry cleaned improperly as shown in the photo so I couldn't wear it.

I just rented this to go out to dinner with my husband. It was a bit boxy and it was slightly wrinkled from shipping. The material was a little heavier than what I wanted so I sent it back but I would consider it again for a future event.

This is a very flattering dress.  I received many compliments on the fit and style.  

I have a fuller chest so the "peek a boo" too was sneaky sexy. Got lots of compliments. Runs a bit big so size down so that the bodice gives you a proper shape and isn't boxy. 

Rented for a luncheon and fashion show.  Everyone thought I was walking in the show.  Lots of compliments.  Comfortable dress and very well made.  You can pair it with just about anything.  I did fun red suede pumps to spice it up.  

I wore this several times, with compliments each time.
Going to try the orange version this month!

I really liked the way this dress flowed and the material felt lovely.

Fit had a pucker in the back but not from being tight.

Was going to wear this for my graduation party, but the sleeves were really tight. I have muscular arms, though, and this fabric doesn't really have any give. Fit beautifully throughout the body, though. My little sister ended up wearing it!

Fit well - a little snug in chest though, and for me needed a full slip.

I loved this dress but I sized up as people suggested and it was a bit large.  Also, the sleeves were sooooooo long that I had to roll them up!  I wore it to work with burgundy tights and did receive a lot of compliments.

This dress ran large - but was so cute, it didn't matter!

I would have loved the dress if it was 2-3 sizes bigger. I’m not sure if it was shrunk at some point? I held the size 10 up to my size 6 BCBG & shelli Segal dresses & they were bigger than this dress.

The dress clung too much for work, and was not as flowing as the other reviews led me to believe. 

I wish I would have ordered two sizes larger-- the fabric is pretty sheer and this simply was way way too tight around my midsection. 

It's true to size except for the sleeves - they are good for a regular/short girl but for someone taller the size 0 won't work at all.  Size 2 would probably have been ok.  

I'm usually a 4 and this hung on me like a sack of potatoes. It also wrinkled very easy. If you get this, order a size smaller!!

The dress is nice, but it's a bit large like a choir dress.  I wore a nice long coat over it, which gave it a bit more shape.  The combo looks pretty nice, but on its own it looks a bit big.  I don't know if it's because I have a large bust size, but the neckline was a bit too high and ended up cutting into my neck.  Because of that, it was a bit uncomfortable.  It managed to be both too loose and too tight at the same time.

I re-rented this dress in a smaller size but still felt like I was wearing a tent. The material had a crepe-like finish, yet I had to steam it not once but twice, the night before and the morning of. And it was brand new, tags still attached. Even though the dress wasn't tight, and was lined, my underwear outlines showed through. I had to experiment with Spanx and different bras to get a smooth look. The lining felt like cotton, so it was clingy against undergarments.  The sleeve cuffs were cute and the arms were nicely cut. The rest of the dress didn't do anything for my figure. It seems like maybe a good dress to choose if you are chunky. It looked shapeless on me, and with the neckline button, a scarf or necklace would not help the look. I really wanted this to work.  A dress at this price level shouldn't be such a pain. I had to try this one in two sizes, and at the same time it took three tries to get a particular Kate Spade purse that wasn't dirty. Not a very joyful RTR experience and I was not offered anything to make up for my troubles. 

I don't have large arms, but I couldn't fit them through the sleeves.  and the fit was much tighter than the picture had made it seem.

I have rented several dresses by Derek Lam Crosby, and they fit beautifully. I made the mistake of thinking the fit for this line would be the same. It is not! The top portion for me, but the bottom was tiny. There is no room for hips and a butt. It is made for someone who is cute really straight all the way through, like a runway model. Sizing up won't help because then it would be too large in the shoulders. Skip this one unless you have no curves. 

I'm a 5'9 former athlete with broad shoulders and a medium size bust, and this was easily one of the least flattering dresses I've ever tried on. Would not recommend and honestly I'm not even sure what body type it would be flattering on. 

I normally like dresses like this but this one did nothing looked like a sack on me.
