This was a great dress for a November wedding in Chicago! The color was great - it's a slightly deeper red in person than in the photos. The red lace felt really fun and was balanced by the dress's more conservative silhouette for a fancy wedding. The dress was super comfortable - there's not much stretch to the arms, but the body of the dress is pretty forgiving. I'd size up for my backup if I was on the edge of a size. I usually wear a 14-16 and both the 14W and 16W fit fine- the 14W fit a little better in the shoulders so I went with that one. Wear a red or nude bra - the straps of the slip under the lace are thin and it will show through. I'm 5'6" and it was just knee length and crept up a few inches as I walked around/danced.

I wore this to a sparkle-themed wine tasting weekend for a bachelorette party. The dress was comfortable and FUN! there are two pieces - a champagne colored tank dress and the knit/sequined overlay. The knit piece relaxed a lot and got a little saggy/oversized by the end of the evening, so I probably should have gone with a smaller size. The knit was comfortable - since there are sleeves there were no rubbing/chafing problems. Side note - RTR customer service is FANTASTIC! I found out Thursday night that UPS lost the dress and I was at a loss for what to do since the box couldn't be tracked down on any other trucks or at their shipping center! I called RTR first thing Friday morning and they were able to overnight me the dress in time for my event on Saturday at noon. They are the best!

I ordered this dress in both a 16W and the 16. The 16 barely fit and since it was tight and had a high back I was worried that I wouldn't be able to unzip it on my own (and would have to sleep in it until my roommate got home the next day) so I opted for the 16W. This was too bad since the 16W was a full 3 inches shorter than the 16, even though I ordered a "regular" length in both. I'm 5'7" and the 16 would have been the perfect length with 3-4" heels. I opted for shorter shoes and tried to make it work, but would have loved a couple more inches so that the dress fell to the floor. As others have mentioned this dress has an incredibly deep v in front, so if you're busty plan on a lot of fashion tape. It's not visible in the model's photo, but there is a great slit up to mid-thigh in the lining of the dress - when you walk it's visible through the sheer layers of chiffon. Overall I was super happy (and comfortable) in the dress - thanks RTR!

This dress was exactly what I was looking for. Fun (lace!) and a great color (lots of compliments) but a touch conservative (high neckline). The lace on the arms was lightweight and easy to move in and the rest of the dress was a heavy fabric which provided lots of coverage. It ran a little large on me ... I'm usually a true 16, so the 16W was loose around my waist but fit fine in the shoulders and arms. It's a really forgiving dress, so I probably could have gone down a size, but unfortunately I was worried about it being too tight (first RTR purchase) and I sized up for my backup dress.
