I didn't think this dress seemed like much when I took it out of the bag.  But I felt like a celebrity while wearing it.  I had many compliments from strangers! 

Covered bra straps, not too short, in good condition. Dress was neutral enough to go with different shoes and jewelry. 

I wore this dress at 34wks pregnant to my baby shower and it was a hit. Very comfortable. Fit like a glove. True to size and added that glitz to make me feel my prettiest!

Great color, amazing color...I may rent it again! Super comfortable!

After my initial 2 dresses came and neither of them were what I hoped ( one was too short, the other did not have the Slip needed to wear the dress properly)the underslip was formfitting, as it should be. was also the perfect length so that I did not have to readjust or worry i was showing too much!  the Sequin sheath was also perfectly smooth against my skin, not itchy, and gave just the right amount of sparkle. I was told multiple times how beautiful I looked and that my dress was FABULOUS.

I loved this dress for my rehearsal dinner! Very sparkly, but so comfortable. I appreciated the arm coverage. A bit loose but a 14 would have been too tight! Really recomend !!! 

This was my back-up dress for a black-tie-optional wedding. I regularly wear a 12 or 14, petite, and this was a 14W, which was just an ordering mistake on my part. It was loose so I belted it, and ended up being very  happy with the loose fit, which meant that I could comfortably dance all night.   

I wore this dress to a romantic dinner after my elopement. People were stopping by the table all night to tell me how pretty the dress was. I agree with the other reviews that it is hard to pin down the color. It's gold/silver/nude. My only complaint was that the sleeves would get tangled with the sequins on the body of the dress. It wasn't unbearable, but required more thought than simply yanking my arm away. 

I received the 14 and 16W. Although the 14 fit I sized up to the 16W because it gave me more room to move and I wanted to dance!   We danced the entire night and the dress was comfortable and attractive.  It takes a little effort to get into, with the sheath lining, but totally worth the unique look that you get with the dress. I was very careful with the jewelry that I chose because I was wary of picking the delicate weave of the dress.  I have never used RTR before and this worked well for me because I needed a formal dress and I had no time to shop for one prior to the wedding.  I will consider the service again in the future.

I received this dress as my backup dress for a wedding.  I absolutely loved it.  The color was more nude than silver, which was fine.   I am 5'1 and the overlay dress was a bit longer than I normally wear, but it didn't matter since the dress is gorgeous.   It was very comfortable and the sequinned overlay was not irritating.  Be sure to use both the shift and overlay straps to secure your bra to the shift dress and the overlay to the shift and  you will look sharp all night.   I received so many compliments from my friends and stranger alike all night.  Be prepared to stand out!

After receiving my first dress a day before my engagement photos only to find out that it was way too short...needless to say I was in panic mode! I didn't think I was going to find anything and I didn't know the process of exchanging a gown through rtr. After figuring out I could go to the topanga location and try on other options and do my exchange I was a bit less anxious. This dress was the first one the associate pulled for me and I was hesitant to try it on since it was about 2 sizes larger than I would wear. I put it aside and tried other options but all of the others didn't really cut it. I left the store with this one, still not totally convinced but after seeing my engagement photos and receiving the endless compliments from my fiancé I was so happy I chose it. It was truly meant to be and I'm so elated at the end result of my pictures.

This dress was better than I ever imagined. As soon as I took it out of the bag I was blown away by the SPARKLE! It is absolutely stunning. I received compliments from passing strangers in the hallway! It was extremely comfortable and easy to wear with confidence all night long...no constant adjustments or tugging (as a very busty girl this is almost ALWAYS an issue). The pictures don;t do this dress justice. I was a little worried about the couple of reviews that claimed it was shorter than expected, but with my short torso it fell exactly where I had hoped (to the knee). Do yourself a favor and FIND an occasion to rent this dress for!!!!

The dress was super comfortable. I received 100's of compliments. Have a large bust, a tiny waist and a gigantic bottom. I added my own belt to cinch my waist. I am totally hooked on RTR! I have never felt so beautiful. 

I am the apple-iest of apple shapes:  42H, thicker upper arms, a belly, narrow hips (relatively).  I am 5'11 (6'1 in the heels I was wearing).  

I got Married at City Hall; I felt glamorous without being overdone.  The sequins were gorgeous in the daylight.  The dress was fun without being too exposed and felt like the perfect frock for someone who didn't want anything fussy but wanted to feel festive.  It was perfect in every way.  

Dress arrived later than expected so was not able to wear to original intended event.  Packing and presentation arrived very nicely.  Some loose wrinkles that fell out after a couple of hours of hanging.  Some very small pulls and loose stitching that was not at all noticeable once I put the dress on.  This is a two piece dress with an underlay and overlay.  Very well made.  Fit very much like a 14W.  I normally wear a standard 14 and it was a little loose.  The color of the fabric is a champagne beige with silver sequins.  Appears to be a light warm color which was perfect as my coloring is light warm spring.  I'm 5' 6" and the length came right above the knee. I wore this to a dance event and received tons of compliments.  I would rent this again.  I returned the item to the DC store location (Georgetown) to avoid further delays with shipping.  I was very pleased with the service there.  I hope to continue to receive such nice quality pieces on my Unlimited plan.  The only drawback was the wait.  Everything else was exactly what I was expecting.  

I wore with houndstooth stockings and combat boots with a heel to dress it down a bit. Easy to dance in and I received lots of compliments. I felt great and the sequins didn't scratch me at all although the armpit and sleeve sequins caught on each other a bit. 

Everything about this dress is wonderful! The dress has great stretch which is wonderful for curves or a large chest. The dress is very light colored, so I wouldn't recommend for a wedding, unless you hate the bride. Lol. I wore the dress for a silver anniversary party and it was the perfect dress for a semi formal occasion. The dress is fully linned, but it's not hot or itchy. Keep the shoe neutral since the dress is such a show stopper. Overall wonderful dress!

I wore this dress to a fundraiser gala and it was perfect!  This dress felt expensive, high quality, light weight and comfortable.  I received so many compliments on this dress. The sparkle factor was amazing!  This dress will make you feel like a million bucks!

This dress is absolutely beautiful in person. It is the perfect dress for a wedding guest. It was easy to wear, didn't snag and I got compliments all night. I wore a 14W which was a little bigger than I would have liked, but it was still a good fit. It's a two part dress, separate slip and shimmery overlay. I had to watch the hem when I sat so the slip wouldn't show, but minor inconvenience. It was absolutely beautiful. I stood out without upstaging the bride. Would definitely recommend. 

My first time renting and let me say I would do it again and again.  I loved the experience and the dress.  I am used to wearing everything baggy and in black, but was so happy that I chose this color.  Everyone complimented me.  I read in other reviews that the sleeves were itchy but I didn't find that at all.  It is short so be prepared if you aren't comfortable with that.  Overall the dress made me feel so very pretty and added that extra special something to my event.

This dress was super comfortable and I loved the sparkles!  Everyone loved it and it photographed beautifully. The fit was true to size and not super tight which was awesome since I'm a little curvy :). It was a great first rental & I look forward to renting again. 

Beautiful dress, the glitziest thing I've ever worn. My boyfriend likened it to something you'd see at a Gatsby party. The slip and the dress have little hooks so you can secure the neckline to your bra to prevent slippage. You made need a hand to get them secured though. I wore the 14 slip and the 16 dress. 

Wore this to an awards ceremony where I also performed on stage in a silly lip sync battle.  Loved it! Love the sequins. Had to pin my bra down. I felt like this had a good fit below, but too big on top. I wonder if I could have sized down?  So happy with this rental!

I'm a solid 14. However, it turns out I am not a 14W--there's a difference, and I believe that difference means looking amazing and looking like a mother of the bride at 37. Don't get me wrong: I felt plenty pretty. The sequins never caught on anything, the material was of a high quality, and I was comfortable throughout the entire night. But even with shape wear and a padded bra, I could not force this pretty little shift into something flattering. Lesson learned. Sticking to 14Rs. However, if you're looking for a super-sparkly low-maintenance dress for any occasion, I'd recommend this whole-heartedly.

I chose 2 dresses to try & they really both would have worked, but I preferred this one.  I had a couple questions when the dresses arrived, called RTR and they were very helpful. It was a great night & I got lots of compliments on the dress. I was wary of using RTR, but it was a great experience & I will definitely use again!

This dress is everything. It's comfortable, flattering, and SO gorgeous. I got compliments all night - AND I felt great all night. I ordered two sizes and definitely went with the smaller size, so do order a smaller size than what you normally wear. I was worried it would look shapeless on me, but it definitely did not. I was also worried I'd look too nude with the color, but that was also not a problem. My husband said I looked like a glass of champagne. There were even snaps inside the lining to hold your bra in place so it doesn't slip around. Very nice touch! I would have never tried this on if I'd seen it on the rack, but seeing it on a model and others on RTR made me make the purchase. Wish I could have kept this one.

The 18W fit perfectly. There was a small hole by the arm, but since the dress was pretty holey anyway (by design) it wasn't too noticeable. Kept accessories very minimal - only some vintage art deco earrings and nude heels. Loved the v-back!

I wore this dress to my engagement party. I wanted to stand out and the sequence helped me to that.  I normally wear all black all the time. I normally wear a size 18, however I wore the 20. They both fit just fine. I just wanted a little more space in the dress so my stomach area wouldn't stick out too much with the light color of the dress. It was lightweight and very comfortable. My bra size is a 40F. 

I chose this dress because I am the staff person on site that put this event together.  It was important to have a dress that fit, covered me, that I wasn't afraid I would fall out of and that I could move easily in.  I am short, so I can't rent a long gown, but that's okay, I prefer a shorter length anyway.  I felt covered, I didn't have to buy or wear a special bra or contraption to wear this dress.  The dress is comfortable and a great length.  I rented the recommended accessories and felt like a million bucks.  This dress is an attention-getter.  It is pretty form fitting, a little more than I thought it would be, but not vulgar in any way.  Also, the dress was more champagne in color than the silver the model wears in the photograph. If you are comfortable in your body, and have a fun black tie event to go to, I HIGHLY recommend this dress.  I felt beautiful and got LOADS of compliments all night long.

Great dress! True to size. I wore the smaller size shipped to me for a more fitted look. I would recommend this to anyone with an apple shape and large chest. At 5'6", the length was perfect, and I paired with a simple nude shoe and the earrings that the model is wearing. The dress was beyond comfortable and the compliments came all night! Sparkly and shimmery in a classy way! 

This dress fit me perfectly.  I am a size 16 with lots of lumps and bumps.  This dress smoothed those out!  I wear a 16 and this dress was a 16W.  I was worried that the sleeves would be itchy, but they weren't at all.  I did wear a strapless bra as I didn't want my straps to show if the dress slipped.  The sleeves were also large enough for my hefty arms.  I got numerous compliments all night.  More than I have ever received shopping in my normal price range!!  I will be using RTR next time I need a special outfit and have told all my friends.  This dress was beautiful.  I can't say enough good things about it!

I wore this dress to a Black Tie Event for Breast Cancer Survivors and it was very beautiful! This dress fits rather Large ( I typically wear a size 20W - 22W ) but very comfortable to wear... Note that RTR give a courtesy size dress, as well, and I used the size 16W slip along with the actual 18W dress! So take an advantage, Ladies, of the extra courtesy dress, if needed! 

I originally ordered a 22W, based on the size chart, but wore my backup size of 20W. I probably could've gone down another size, but then it might have been a little tight. The lining offered plenty of coverage (wasn't too sheer like some) and the overlay hung perfectly - it covered up my "trouble spots." This dress was comfortable, beautiful and fit like a glove - I got so many compliments!

This dress was very comfortable. It fit pretty much as it was supposed to. I felt very pretty in it. It is more of a champagne color than silver. I got a lot of compliments. I will rent it again. 

Comfortable, fabulous and NOT shapeless even though it's a shift. Easy to wear all night, sequin overlay is not scratchy, looks amazing on the dance floor. Vintage gold color looks great with any shoes and with any skin tone. Got compliments all night, it was great. 

This dress is very flattering! I wore it to my bachelorette party in Chicago. I literally had people stopping me on the street just to tell me how awesome my dress was. The compliments from the guys were never-ending. Overall it was an unforgettable night. I felt like a runway model in this dress!

In person, I thought this dress looked a little plain compared to what I imagined and saw in photos but seeing photographs made me absolutely love this dress. It was beyond comfortable, just the right length, the sleeves protected against chaffing. I will say the dress is definitely more of a taupe than a silver but it worked well for me! Also, my bust size is not listed, but I usually wear a 42 or 44 I (eye) bra. 

I ordered the 18 as my backup size, and I'm glad I did. It fit perfectly! The sequins and material were not itchy and I received TONS of compliments. Perfect Maid of Honor dress for my best friend's wedding.
