This dress was absolutely perfect. This was actually a back up dress I received because my first pick had a missing piece so I got this one on a whim but am so glad I did! I got so many compliments on it. For someone like me who is a bit bustier with a tummy, the top wasn't flowly like it is on the model but the draping of the fabric is so flattering AND you can wear a normal bra with it because the straps are wide enough to cover it. I usually wear a 10 and got the Large. This was a perfect fit. I'm 155lbs, 5'5", 36D.

I read the reviews and saw a lot of people commenting on the depth of the V neck but I thought I would try it anyway. The dress itself is BEAUTIFUL and the fabric was very well made BUT...my "girls" would have out-shined the bride! I didn't wear this dress because the V neck was so low and my boobs were the star of the show. I ended up wearing something I already had on hand, so that was disappointing but it was my own fault for taking a chance. This dress is definitely not for the larger chested. It absolutely accentuated everything I've got! LOL I am 5'5" chest size 36D. I got a Medium with a Large as the backup. The Medium was a little snug but I could get into it. If I had worn this dress, I would have worn the large.

I got this dress as my free-bee with another order and I am glad it was free, because the cut and fit of this dress is weird and small. I ordered a 10 as I have other Lily dresses in a 10 and I couldn't event get this one zipped. I am not even sure a 12 would have fit. The pattern of the dress is cute and the colors are vibrant however the cut of the top almost made me look like I had 1 large uni-boob. The halter part of the dress is like a crochet and reminds me of a doily. Be warned...this is also very short. I know it looks short in the photo on the model, but even on a normal human, it is very short. I wish it would have worked, but luckily I had a backup. I am sure it would be super cute on someone else, but this was not for me.

I rented this for a late summer/early fall wedding and I was afraid it was going to be too summery, but it wasn't! The color is vibrant, but fit in well with the colors of the wedding and the lace sleeves give it a bit of a colder weather vibe. The sweetheart neckline under the lace overlay is also nice so you don't look like you're wearing a turtleneck. The shape is more of a shift dress and doesn't have a midsection seem which I like. I have to be very careful with the natural waistlines because I have a bit of a belly. This cut is very flattering and the pattern of the lace and material I felt helped to mask those problem areas. I would highly recommend this dress for a curvier body. I ordered the 12 and got a 10 as my backup. I ended up wearing the 10 as the 12 was just slightly baggy in the chest and arms. I wore a normal strapless shape-wear undergarment. The dress was comfy and I was able to dance all night.

I rented this for a wedding at a country club over labor day weekend and it was perfect. I was afraid this would be too "holiday dress", but I think the sheer back makes it acceptable for a late summer/early fall event too! I ordered a 10 and ended up wearing the 12, only because I was a little more comfortable in the 12, but I could have stayed in the 10. I am 5'5, 150 with a 36D. I bought some backless spanks, but ended up taking them off and going without a bra because the back came down just far enough, you could see the top of the spanks. You would be totally fine in a backless bra. The colors are vibrant and the quality of the dress was really nice. It is also a very flattering cut for someone like me with a bit of a belly. :)

I rented this dress to wear for a bridal shower that was floral themed. I felt the fit of the dress is a little off, especially for me who has some curve. I ordered a 10 which is what I normally wear and I got the 12 just in case...sometimes I am right in between. I got my dresses and the 10 was so snug, but the 12 was way too big...like falling off me! If they made an 11, it would have been perfect. I am 5'5 and 150lbs with a 36D. I ended up wearing the 10, because at least it wasn't going to fall off, but here were the pros and cons: The idea of the dress is super cute with the little kick ruffle at the bottom, but the waist is cut as a natural waist, which I have to be careful with because of my stomach. The snug fit of the dress made my pooch pop out a little too much for comfort. The boob line under the dress wouldn't "stay put", and the straps wouldn't stay up. The whole day, the dress was a bit fussy. All that said, I did get a lot of compliments on it, but I was just not comfortable. For someone shaped like the model, I am sure it would be really cute. I now know, I cannot wear this style. :(
