I'm so in love with this dress and was sad I had to send it back. Overall, this dress was perfect -- one of my friends was actually surprised I didn't own it/have it tailored since it fit so well. I'm short so the length was great, but it definitely runs a little small and has no give so size up for the backup. I usually wear a medium and was very glad I listened to the reviews and got a large as well. Also, I wore this to a beach ceremony in MA and didn't think it was too hot at all, although the reception was inside with AC so who knows how I would've felt if I was outside for longer.

I ordered this dress for NYE and was so excited about it. I read other reviews saying the dress is short, but the size up was all sold out for the dates I needed so I decided to chance it. While this dress is really cute, it fit everywhere except for length -- it was like a tunic on me. I tried it with tights and was nervous about it riding up so I decided to try it as a top under a leather skirt and it was awesome! I got compliments on it all night. I would definitely recommend this dress if you are comfortable in super short dresses/can size up or if you don't mind wearing it as a top with leggings or a skirt.

Unfortunately I didn't get to wear them to the event I rented them for because the dress I picked wasn't a great fit, but I will 100% be renting these again. They are just the right size and not heavy at all. I could also see these going with a lot of different dress styles.

I absolutely loved this dress and wanted to keep it! I rented it for a bridal shower and everyone complimented me on the dress. I didn't realize it had pockets so that was a bonus since I needed to keep my phone on me. The only downside was that it's a little short/low cut so I had to be very careful when bending over or crouching down to help the bride with her gifts. However I wore tights so it wasn't really much of an issue. Will definitely been renting it again :)

I rented a size 6 since the size 4 was unavailable and it ran very large in the bust area. The dress itself was a little loose, but overall not bad. The dress does a good job of covering up any problem areas you might have. However my main reason for having to return this was that the sequins rubbed against any part of bare skin they touched and it was extremely uncomfortable for me. I might just have sensitive skin though because I had a million red scratches on my arms/side after just trying the dress, so I couldn't imagine dancing all night in it. If you can deal with that, I would definitely recommend trying out the dress and getting either your true size or a size down because it was lovely otherwise.

I ordered this in both a 4 and a 6. I ordered a larger size and a smaller one because I was afraid that it might fit my hip area strangely since it looks form fitting, but it definitely runs large so order a size down for your extra. Also, if you are short you will definitely need to get some hemming tape because the dress is MUCH longer than it seems on the model (granted she probably is close to a foot taller than me...). As many people have said, the dress is more black than gold, but I kind of liked that. Also, I didn't have any issues with the gold foil coming off. I was nervous to wear it at first because I was afraid it was too fancy, however it was definitely the best choice for a NYE at Mohegan. My boyfriend and friend's loved it and I felt amazing while wearing it. I would definitely recommend this dress.
