Too much of a 70s vibe for me
Thought this would be a pretty summer work dress, but I didn't like the gold zipper all the way down the front or the cheap feeling material. Sent back without wearing.

Flattering
Short torso cut with long pant legs lengthens the line of the leg, which is flattering. One of my favorites. (But size up if you're long waisted.)

Classy casual
This is classic J.Crew classy casual. Well constructed, richly colored, subtle detail in the asymmetric button line. It has nice details without having too much personality, so it won't overpower the wearer. Like all J.Crew, it runs small. I'm a 0 or 2 in other brands but a 00 in J.Crew.

Like wearing a couch from your fishing cabin, but in a good way
Loved this and thought it was interesting. Thick, upholstery-like fabric makes it feel like a wink at my upper Midwest roots. It wasn't flattering on my hourglass figure (probably best for straight and narrow or pears), but I personally care less about that than about it being interesting while still work-appropriate.

Would have been perfect, but too short for my workplace
Flattering, casual-elegant, great color. If it had been an inch or two longer, I would have bought it. But that was a CRITICAL inch or two. Definitely too short for my workplace and I felt self-conscious about the length all day. Otherwise perfect.

Eye catching, well constructed, comfortable. This dress feels like a work of modern architecture. It's a conversation piece. And there were pockets! This is my first dress from ADEAM and I'm impressed.

Polished, but mind the gap
Striking color, flattering wrap style. If you're an hourglass or pear, though, beware the gapping in the front of the skirt and be prepared to tape or pin it closed. Every time I sat down before securing it, the skirt just opened up and I risked flashing coworkers.

Great work dress
I described this as 'true to size' but I always size up to a 2 in this brand when I'm sometimes (often?) a 0 in other labels. Great work dress, minimalist and sleek. It's not going to blow you away, but I felt polished and professional wearing it on an average work day.

Inappropriately short
I ordered a 2 (I'm usually a 0) and this was still a little clingy and inappropriately short. If I bent over in this dress, I would flash someone. Definitely not something I could wear to work. Be careful!

Very odd fit
It's as if this dress is two sizes smaller on the bottom half than on the top half. I'm reliably a 34 in Carven (0 in most), and usually their dresses are a perfect fit for me. This one was fine--even a little loose--on top. But it was awkwardly tight in the hips and thighs. If you're very straight and narrow, this might work better for you. I'm returning it without even taking the tags off. Nice fabric, lovely details as usual from Carven...

One of my favorite dresses, ever
Heavyweight fabric, tight stitching--this is like the armored luxury SUV of dresses. This dress will be best for smaller-chested folks, as it's narrow and the fabric has no give. These features also make it a little difficult to get on and off. But i just loved it... so maybe I just didn't *want* to take it off.

Unflattering on a petite frame
This ran huge--I was swimming in the 0, when my true size is closer to a 2. The fabric was lovely, but it was extremely unflattering on my petite 5'4" frame. It made me look sort of stubby. I'll leave this one to the tall ladies.

Comfortable, versatile holiday dress
Usually i love DVF dresses. This one i merely very much liked. It's a nice material in a festive color, and it was loose enough to accomodate my holiday overeating. Because of the cut, i think it will be most flattering on people who are less busty.

Perfectly fine but nothing special
This is a very comfortable shirt with some added interest from the ruching. I got it as part of my unlimited subscription when i knew i would be visiting family and not doing much else over a cold winter vacation. It was fine, but not special enough to rent again.

Well-made dress that won't distract
I liked this dress more than I expected to. It's pretty basic, but it's well-made and the Tiffany-box color is attractive. While not a show-stopper, it's classy, effortless, and should be flattering on almost any figure. I wore it for a family gathering and would rent it again for work.

Cute dress in a very KS way
This dress ran a little small compared to normal US sizing (but definitely bigger than KS usually runs). It was cute and I might rent it again, though I think I'll size up as I didn't love how it clung around my stomach. That's my fault, though, not the dress's--I knew I should consider a small rather than an extra small, but it wasn't available so I took a risk and sized down. The fabric is stretchy and substantial, textured, and appropriate for work or everyday.

Comfortable, flattering fit and colors that will get attention.
This is an easy, well-made dress in brighter colors. The fabric is heavy and maintains its shape, with a textured weave that I liked. Lots of compliments, mostly because the color pops out in dreary November weather. The cut itself is boring, but will be flattering on just about anyone (but especially pears, hourglasses, and straight-bodied types.) I tend to wear a more neutral palette, so I'm not sure I'll rent this again, but it's a look a lot of people will love--attention-getting color, flattering cut, without being too fashion forward for running out to pick up groceries.

Well made but clingy
This is a very well made but basic dress. It was too form fitting for work and nothing special for weekend, so I didn't end up wearing it. It may have been more work appropriate if I'd sized up. I could imagine this being great for summer drinks with friends on a boat or something.

Minimalist, interesting
I loved this dress, which is all clean lines. It's understated, but draws attention. While it doesn't define the waist at all, it's still slimming as long as you wear it on its own. I paid attention to the other reviews and sized up to a 2 because I didn't want it to be tight in the chest. I'm one of those people who vacillates between a 0 and a 2 in nicer brands, and the 2 fit nicely in this case. I'd say this runs small in the chest but true-to-size in the hips. I wore it to work on an unseasonably warm day. I thought it looked dowdy with a cardigan, so I wouldn't want to wear it once the weather cools.

Light, easy, elegant
This is an elegant, easy weekend dress. It's a bit shapeless, which isn't always a good look for my hourglass frame, so I loosely belted it and let it blouse out on top. If you're tall and willowy, this will look great even without a belt. The maxi length, side slits, and straight cut made it great for a windy day. The skirt moved around as I walked, but didn't blow up even in gusty wind. The material is extremely light, so I wouldn't try to wear this during cooler weather.

Great dress for Sunday brunch in the fall
Loved this dress--nice drape, fabric that keeps its shape over the course of the day, and great movement in the skirt when you walk. I liked the asymmetrical cut but low-key colors. However, it's definitely as casual as it looks in the pictures. Depending on your workplace or where you live, it might feel too casual for work or an event.
