New but could be better
Wore to dinner for work. True wrap that stayed closed but the hook at the chest could be better. Sleeves were too long and I had to roll. Wouldn't buy it but it was a solid rent.

A little bulky no stretch in the waist
It took some tries to get the right top, the wrap makes the bottom a little heavy. The waist fit high with no stretch. I wouldn't size up but it wasn't the most comfy

I thought I was going to wear it forever
The dress is ok, does sort of feel like a towel. But the zipper sticks and the detail at the waist does not stretch. I needed help to get out of it. I’m not sure I’ll risk putting it on again!

Can't go wrong with Hill House
I wear these dresses all the time and they never let me down. Love them for flying. I do size down from what I consider my "normal" as it's generous in hips/thighs where I carry my weight.

Another winner
I've rented this one and the brown one. My current order includes this one in a size down. This one seems to run slightly bigger than the brown but I like the colors better. I would have considred buying but 1) I want to try the smaller size and 2) there were a few fabic pulls in the one I had. Nothing that stopped me from wearing but didn't want to purchase a still expensive dress with those flaws.

Grab and go

It was a tiny tight in the arms and a cotton material. Seemd to run a little smaller than the purple version which is more of a linen. The buttons don't overlap much so if you have a large chest or rib cage, you may need to size up. I like this material better than the other but the purple colors better. It's one I almost purchased.

Feels like a cross between a track suit and a scuba suit
I ordered a bunch of dresses fast without reading reviews because I realized I forgot to put in an order about 1/2 way through the month. It was a bit big at the hips but the worst was that it made a noise almost like a 1990's track suit and kinda feels like a scuba suit. I won't wear it.

Beautiful, classic but big!
Ordered it for a gala, but ended up wearing another dress for that event and this one for pictures (where I could hide the chip clips down my back!). I could pull it up/down without unzipping so I probably need a 2, at which point I'm not sure how the bottom would fit. The legs, butt were ok but top was massive so those that have more going on up top may find it more true to size.

Classic but still sexy
Love this dress. Wore it to date night and will probably keep it for some work events. It's thick enough to hide bumps and imperfections but not hot. The gold buttons give it a little something extra.

Big skirt!
I think this would look better for a fall or winter wedding. The silver threads made it seem wintery to me. The skirt is HUGE (huge as in puffy not too big) and it looked a little wonkly on my short frame. If the wedding were winter instead of spring, I probably would have worn it anyway.

Such a fun skirt
Love! Ordered it for a wedding. It's a big big around the arm holes/at the top, but I don't think the 2 would zip at the waist. The skirt is too much fun to twirl and the pockets are great. It was on my list for a while and I always passed it up, order it! As others have said, it is more eggplant than red.

Classy but flirty
This was a back up dress which I got in a 2 and 4. I didn't get any good pictures but I wore with black tights and black heels on a cold night. Both the 2 and the 4 fit, the 4 had about 1/4 inch room in the waist. The 2 was more fitted and looked less matronly with the tights BUT the arms were so tight down at the bottom. Both the 2 and the 4 had tight arms but the 2 was so tight I had red marks when I took the dress off. Sometimes beauty hurts but if you have muscular arms or issues with arm fit, size up for sure!

I ordered a 2 and and a 0. Unfortunately the 2 went missing. I probably needed the 2. The 0 was a "sausage dress" but the dress has a lot of stretch if you're comfortable wearing it slightly small. As compared to the Badgley Mischka Emerald Sequin dress (which was sent to me as another option) this dress was more worn out (the sequins at the bottom were turning silver). Also in the green one the size 2 was too big in the chest so I probably need a 4. The green was also more comfortable (sequins seemed to lay flatter). If I were to rent this type of dress again, I'd go for the Badley Mischka in a size 0.

This dress was sent as a back up when the size 2 of my Nicole Miller Sequin Tyrian Purple Gown had a glitch and went missing. I ordered a size 2 and 4 in this gown. I never put the 4 on as the 2 was way too big in the chest. I could pull at least an inch away from my side. As compared to the Nicole Miller this dress was less worn and the sequins were more comfortable. I wanted this to work, but couldn't risk a Janet Jackson moment. I would rent again in a size 0. Interestingly, I was originally accidentally sent the short version of this dress first (which is also fabulous) but I needed the 4 in that...go figure!!

Fun dress for a "black tie optional" event
I wanted a high low dress because the night was "black tie optional" and I didn't know if the majority would wear a long or short dress. It was perfect. Throw your hair up and show off the interesting back. The 2 fit but I wore the 4 for more comfort and so that extra skin did't squeeze with the open back. I didn't get a great photo of the dress but it came just below my knee in the front and about 3" from my shoe in the back.
