I really like the softness of the leather; and the pop that the orange lining brought. The strap is a comfortable length and is comfortable on your shoulder. There is a zippered compartment inside the main compartment. You won't be able to get a wallet/coin purse sized wallet in here; only a card sheath- which is why I returned without using. I like bags that I can rotate my regular wallet in and out of easily.

Beautiful bag but just too small for my needs
For reference, my everyday bag is the shinola mini leather crossbody (so I'm not a big purse kinda gal). But this was sooooo tight with my phone, wallet, and passport and everything had to be in just the right way. I thought I wouldn't like that this was just a button closure (I prefer a zipper for security), but this was a strong, secure button. The charms on the side did NOT jangle, which I appreciated.

Fit true to size comparable to other Slate & Willow dresses I've rented, but the colors/pattern, length, and the ruffle placement near the knee just kind of made me look frumpy cupcake. I had gotten this for a garden party, and somehow thought it made me look both like a child in an Easter dress AND the mother of the groom. I didn't end up wearing this.

Cute casual dress but too short for comfort
Soft, cute, easy casual dress but much too short for my taste for work or even running around town. I won't be renting again. I'm only 5'3 and was constantly having to pull the dress down to ensure I wouldn't flash everyone my bum. Dress looked cute paired with white converse.

Perfect vacation purse
I loved this purse! Coral color is vibrant and the tassle/logo detail give it something extra without being tacky or guady. It is small, but bigger than a clutch- I was able to fit my phone, phone charger, portable router, wallet, a small powder compact, and chapstick/lip gloss, making it the perfect vacation purse for my trip to Seoul. One day I also had a portable battery charging pack for my phone in this purse. It has a small non-zip pocket on the inside that allowed easy access to my metro card.

Perfect for the pool
This nylon backpack is surprisingly bigger than it looks. I was easily able to fit a beach towel, a change of clothes, and my make-up bag and limited toiletries, making this a great option for casual summer activities. It also has a zip front pocket. I had rented another smaller backpack for travelling in Seoul- I wouldn't use this backpack for that purpose (i.e., everyday city use), as it would probably feel too cumbersome.

STUNNING!
This dress was absolutely stunning. It truly may have been the best thing I've ever rented from RtR in the 2 years or so that I've done this. The XS was almost a bit long for my 5'3 frame, but I wore 2 inch wedges and while it probably dragged a bit more than I wanted for a night filled with dancing, it wasn't completely disruptive. I got a ton of compliments in this dress. The color and pattern is vivid, very beautiful. The slit adds just the right amount of sexy to an otherwise modest dress. I am fairly flat chested and the bodice is fairly fitted, so I could have gotten away without a bra- still, I wore a strapless for a little more shaping. This dress would be too much for every day wear to say, brunch, etc. It really is a special occasion dress.

This was not particularly flattering on me personally- I thought the tiered skirt combined with the not quite empire waist but close combined with the tie waist made me look too young in not a good way and also kind of like a cupcake. Great summer colors, fabric
Love the colors of the print and the fabric- very summer appropriate. And an appropriate length, although may hit a little short on anyone taller than me. I didn't wear this, however, because as a true shift dress, it was really shapeless and tent-like. I was in the mood for something looser, too, as I'm feeling bloated, but it was too loose. It would really benefit from a belt or a drawstring- I tried to make do with something I had, but ended up getting awkward bunching.

Nice, heavier fabric and pretty colors. It is a very stretchy and tight up top, which makes the dress border on running small and not very forgiving in the waist (especially with the stripes)- however, where the bodice meets the skirt flared out in a very unflattering way on me, making me look "wider" than I am.

Vibrant colors
Lovely summer dress with vibrant colors- could be worn for work or play. Buttons down the front side aren't functional, but there's a drawstring that makes sizing a little easier/forgiving. Good length- a little longer (knee length- 1 inch above). However, even with the more flexible sizing because of the drawstring, the size 2 was too big on me (my fault!) so I didn't wear. I will probably try to get the size 0 next time, because I don't doubt a size smaller would fit.

Surprisingly dressy
Because this is a shirt dress, I thought it'd be a good piece for work- however, the fabric this is made of really elevates this otherwise simple seeming dress, making it almost slightly more dressy than I'm used to for work. This would be super appropriate for church or brunch where you want to look nice and noticeable, but not too noticeable so that it looks like you're trying too hard. The pink color combined with the pearly button details on the bodice is really beautiful. Dress doesn't have much or any give/stretch and I almost felt the 0 was a little too tight in my ribcage, which combined with the cut of the top, caused a little more of my arm bulges (?) to show than I usually care for, but it fit everywhere else really nicely and easily remedied with a cardigan. Also, tightness in the ribcage on dresses is something I seem to encounter more than others of a similar build. Great length, especially for those of us who like things a little more on the conservative side.

Pretty colors, but odd fit
I rented this to wear as a weekend dress (not as a tunic). Beautiful colors and pattern. I know others thought this was short, but the XS would have worked with either flats or wedges on my 5'3 frame and I'm pretty conservative on length for the most part. The ruching made me look a little pregnant, though, so I ultimately sent it back without wearing. Also, the arms holes were cut surprisingly wide, so when I was thinking about wearing it, I was wearing a white tank top underneath- without, it just showed way too much of my bra on the sides for my comfort.

Typically I love Rebecca Minkhoff bags, but this one was a miss for me. The larger size, the smoothness of the leather, and the cream colored vinyl lining just gave me diaper bag vibes, rather than fun bohemian summer vibes. This runs really big- I felt like I was swimming in the XS. You can't see from the picture, but this dress has a drawstring at the waist- and even with that, it was still too large. The drawstrings have bright orange or red tassles on the end, and that detail, combined with the large ruffles on the skirt, made me feel too childish so I returned without wearing.

Basic necklace for everyday
This is my fault, but I thought the chain would be longer. Chain is adjustable, but even at the longest length, it was bouncing against my boobs in an unflattering way. The pendant didn't appear to have much variance in the color of the stone as is shown in the picture, making this kind of fall flat in my opinion. Nothing particularly wrong with this, but will not rent again.

Good for the farmer's market
The nylon coating and durable seeming straps make this bag perfect for a weekend trip to the farmer's market. The colors are very vibrant and I especially found the burgundy color of the straps visually appealing and the kind of detail that really pops. I probably would have purchased this, but a quick search on Amazon showed that it was cheaper new than the price RtR was offering for this used.

I am going to hold on to this for many, many wears. This is my skirt of the summer!! (btw, last summer it was that blush colored Alicia painterly skirt by Corey). One star off, simply because there's quite a bit of weight to this skirt, which I don't think I gathered from the picture, giving it a much more dramatic look than I maybe feel comfortable with typically for everyday office wear. I definitely could have sized down to the 36 for a little less weight, because the waistband is fully elasticized. AND IT HAS POCKETS!!!! You definitely want to wear a fitted, basic tee/top (I have worn a white crew neck tee and a black V neck, tucked in) with this dress, because it is very visually loud. I also would suggest wedge shoes or some other strappy sandal with a heel- I thought flats looked too frumpy and felt like I needed some height.

I was disappointed, because I was expecting the turquoise stones and gold colors in the chain/settings to be much more vibrant. The chain/settings were more pewter colored, rather than gold. Because the colors fell flat for me, it gave off too many bohemian vibes, which was different than what I was looking for to pair with a black top, dark denim in my "smart casual" law office environment.

From the picture, I thought this would be more turquoise, but it really is a kelly green which was a turn off for me. I rented the size 1, and it would have worked, albeit a bit large- long length skimming knees on my 5'3 frame and arm holes cut a little too big for my taste, but would have been OK with a cardigan. I returned without wearing, though, because the kelly green striped print was surprisingly too busy looking for my taste.

Fall or winter dress, not for summer!
This is much more appropriate for fall or winter with tights, definitely not a late spring or summer dress! Like others have noted, the fabric is heavier and not breathable. It isn't a denim or a chambray; rather, a dark navy fabric with some sheen that was a bit difficult to iron. I thought this ran large or at least has a very relaxed fit- I dress very conservatively for work and could have seen myself sizing down to an XXS if that was an option (it isn't), based on all the extra room in the bodice especially.

Way too flowy and unflattering
I really wanted to like this top (rented size 2, didn't wear) because I love the colors and the print. But it runs way big, and the sleeves are very poofy with drawstring ends. To combat the sleeve poofiness, I was planning on wearing with a cardigan. Ultimately I decided to not wear at all. The top also has a very awkwardly large boatneck with drawstring that was difficult to adjust. Material is very slippery, lightweight. Very disappointing.

Print + Fit= Unflattering Combo
As others have noted, where the waist of this dress hits makes for a very unflattering fit. It's higher, right under my ribcage. Maybe this wouldn't have been fatal to the dress if it wasn't also so large and flowy everywhere else. It just really overwhelmed my frame and made me look frumpy. I don't think this would have been remedied by a smaller size either (which wasn't possible, I rented the size 0 and had these issues). I think the bold print exacerbated these fit/shape issues. This isn't what I'd consider a bold print on me usually, but the print did seem too obnoxious in light of how I was also swimming in fabric.

Compliments received on vibrant colors
I believe the colors are even more vibrant than they appear and I received a lot of compliments on this top because of the colors, which I believe appear more vibrant in person than is evident from the monitor. In my experience, the Equipment blouse with the strawberry pattern, for example, seemed to run large, so I always preferred the XS of that blouse; however, this Equipment blouse runs truer to size and the XS in this blouse would have been too small for me.

Cute everyday top
Billow-y, flow-y sleeves (not sure if the extent of this is fully evident from the pictures) but enough shape so that I didn't feel like a tent. Completely sheer so a tank-top is necessary. I wore to work with jeans for a polished, casual look. I haven't rented anything else from the Kooples so I'm not sure how their sizing usually runs; with that being said, a woman with measurements smaller than mine might feel as though they are drowning in even the smallest size.

Nice, basic work dress
Fit great and will rent again! Definitely a fall dress- I wore with tights and booties. Light fabric, not overly clingy, but material somewhat unforgiving with bumps, etc. For my own personal preference, especially as one of very few young women attorneys in a conservative office, I would be hesitant to wear this without tights- length would otherwise be too short for my comfort. I couldn't tell from the model picture, but there are "cut out areas" near the shoulders (it's textured so not a full blown cut out) where traditional bra straps do show through. Rather than fuss with finding a different bra, I just wore a black cardigan.

Size 2 was too big, didn't wear
1. I got a size 2 and it was huge, so I didn't wear it for this reason- shape is very boxy and that's not really something that sizing down would have likely addressed. For reference, I wear a size 6 (!) in the Diane Von Furstenberg splatter dot blazer (sleeves are long on that one, but they roll up easily). 2. This blazer has a sheen to it that is too loud for my everyday work tastes. If sizing hadn't been an issue, I can see this blazer being appropriate more for a formal event where you want to look polished and sharp, but don't want to wear a dress.

Vibrant colors, easy casual summer dress
Easy casual summer dress. Able to wear this out of the bag without ironing. Colors are vibrant and ruffles were not overwhelming on my smaller, but athletic frame- I've historically been hesitant to wear dresses with ruffles, for fear that it will add extra "weight" in the wrong places or make me look too young. However, on this dress, the ruffles are very subtle. I knocked one star, because although the dress fit everywhere else, I was unable to button the top 2 buttons (I am a 36B) and felt somewhat uncomfortable with the amount of cleavage that showed. At times I thought my breasts were going to spill out! Ok for a birthday dinner, but not for work. Without that issue, this would probably be work appropriate with regard to the length. Would rent again!

Cute coat but agree with prior reviewer- itchy collar
This is a cute coat. Fit maybe a bit snugger than my liking, but I'm afraid the size 4 would be too long as this coat in a size 2 is a nice length- long enough to cover most of my butt, but not too long to make me look shorter than I already am! This is also a good weight for fall and transitioning in to winter (if anything, probably a bit too heavy for some of the warmer fall days we've been having). I haven't used the fur lined hood yet, as it arrives detached (a detail I appreciate), so I can't speak to that. This coat can be a bit itchy. It has a funnel-like shaped neck, which when completely zipped up definitely irritated my neck and the parts of my face that it was touching. I historically have avoided anything with any bit of wool in it (I swear, my body can detect when a sweater has like, 2% wool in it), so take my assessment of the coat's itchiness with a grain of salt. The final thing I wanted to mention that I like about this coat is that the front pockets are accessible from both the top (which is good for a place to put your cell phone without running the risk of it slipping out), as well as the sides for warming your hands.

Beautiful rich color, but strap too short
I loved the color of this bag- a very rich, graphite color that is appropriate for fall/winter. The tassels on it are a nice detail, without making the bag seem too boho for everyday use by this professional. However, the strap is not adjustable and it just felt too short, especially when I was wearing a coat. It felt very constricting and uncomfortable, and this was before I even had anything in the bag. I also did not like that the only closure on this bag is a weak magnetic snap- no zipper. Sadly, I immediately returned the bag.

Nice shape with special details
I wore this for a professional event held during the day at my state's supreme court. It was perfect. It was a nice update on the LBD, with the zipper details on the pockets and the zipper up the back. It had a great shape that was shapely, but not too overly sexy for the look I was wanting to achieve. The pockets on the side aren't really functional for your hands, but they would hold, say, a motel key card or a small lipgloss- they also do not add bulk. The dress held up very well- I ironed it once out of the bag several days prior to the event and didn't iron it again before. No wrinkles, even following a 3 hour car ride. This dress will be in my favorites for awhile.

Great everyday purse for the summer
This bag is big without being too big. Currently I have in my purse: cellphone and charger, Kindle and charger, a hardcover book, my mail, my wallet, keys, 4 bottles of prescription/OTC meds, and a large sized La Croix. Yes, I realize that is a lot to schlep around the city, but this bag doesn't make it look like you're carrying a ton of stuff, which I definitely see as a positive :) I walk to and from work everyday- this is just a great size for that and has eliminated my need for a separate tote. The smaller straps are too small to put over your shoulder (i.e., they are handbag straps), but there's the longer strap that definitely allows for over the shoulder carrying (and has the capacity to unhook that longer strap if you wanted). Bag has a nice navy/cream stripe pattern inside, as well as one zip pocket and 2 open pockets. I will probably be carrying this around for the remainder of the summer. Structured purse of high quality!

great for schlupping around the city
This is a great bag for the summer. I feel like I'd probably find it too big for use year round. However, in the summer, I find myself walking a lot more around the city and for further distances. It's nice to have a giant bag that isn't quite a tote, but yet I can slip my Kindle, any purchases, etc. in to it and still be comfortable. Sometimes when there is not much in it, it can kind of feel like a bottomless pit, though. There is one zippered inside pocket and a pocket that looks like it is for a phone, but it's too small for my phone. The bag just has a magnetic snap for closing the whole thing, so it's not that secure.

I love this! I'm a short gal and am always weary of maxi and midi skirts/dresses. However, this firt exactly as it does on the model. I simply wore strappy black sandals and a white, sleeveless collared shirt with teh skirt. It has an elastic waistband for max comfort. The base color of the skirt itself is actually more peach than white (I thought it looked white in the model photo anyways). I received compliments on this skirt from people in the office who have basically never talked to me prior to that, so I would call this a huge success!

Birthday girl!
I didn't have much planned for my birthday, since it fell on a Sunday this year, but was still able to wear this beautiful maxi dress to brunch. The pattern and colors are stunning. The length was perfect on my 5'3" frame and I simply wore sandals with no heal to them. The open back is not so open that you can't wear a strapless bra with it. I had no difficulty with the strapless bra staying hidden. You do have to put this dress on over your head and there is a size zipper that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to zip up all the way; however, I have historically had issues with my rib cage apparently being broader than average (or something). There is no give or stretch built in to this dress. The reason why this dress gets one star knocked off is because it is cut pretty narrowly around your arms, meaning I felt like at times I had a little of that armpit fat showing. All in all, great rental.
