I rented these for my wedding after not finding a great vintage earring in time for my wedding. These were a bit larger and heavier than expected, and the backs that came with the order didn't actually fit the earrings. Luckily I was traveling with lots of other jewelry and a bridal emergency kit with earring backs! They did add the right amount of vintage sparkle to an otherwise soft look, but they probably wouldn't have been my first pick with my dress. I would definitely rent these again for a different formal affair.

I rented this for my destination wedding rehearsal dinner. I wanted something classic that wasn't white with a playful edge, and this fit the bill. I'm also always a sucker for a formal dress with pockets. I ended up wearing the 4 because the 6 was loose in the torso. I got compliments on it all night and would definitely consider buying the dress for events in the future. I wore it with emerald/turquoise earrings and nude pumps.

I rented this for my fiance's office holiday party at a club in Chicago. The look was definitely cute, but the fit wasn't quite right. I could have worn the 4, but the length qualified more as a long shirt than a dress. The 6 fit the same in the top but had a longer, slightly roomier skirt. I have a proportional body, so I'd recommend that women with larger hips size up. I ended up wearing super opaque black tights and pulled it off (I think), but I wouldn't rent this dress again. As well, it was easy to tell that this is one of the more popular dresses: both sizes arrived with snags in the lace and definitely didn't look brand new.

I thought this might be difficult to wear, but I took the chance on the color and price alone. It couldn't have been a better choice for a June wedding in 100+ temperatures. It looked great, left enough give for eating and dancing, and was totally unique. I wore it with a turquoise necklace and nude/gray patent sandals. I have a proportional figure with a smallish chest and am a true size 6 in most brands. This fit well all around. The silk is also very opaque even without lining, so you can skip a slip altogether. Beyond the great dress, the RTR experience was wonderful. I will definitely rent again for special occasions.

I rented this as a backup for a wedding in July. The top was very boxy and unflattering on me, as I'm fairly small-busted. I can see how this would be ideal for someone hoping to minimize her top. As well, the fabric is very pretty, but it felt a bit too much like a day dress to be special enough for a (semi)formal affair. This would be great for a bridal shower or daytime event and pairs well with nude accessories.
