The slit was a little too much for me. I wasn't comfortable wearing it. If not for the slit, its a beautiful dress and interesting top... 6 fit better than 4 (a little too tight). I'd size up if in doubt (i can usually wear a 4).

So i rented this for an overnight trip with my husband. I wanted something sexy, but age appropriate and had recently rented the two birds black jumper for my 40th, and loved it. Similar to the jumper, this one has two long pieces of frabric that you pull up and cross cross in the back (the back is super sexy!) and then tie - i tried to capture the front and back in the photo. You can also put them together for an off the shoulder look (which is how i wore the jumper). The soft pink is beautiful. The waist is small in the AP- if you have a bigger waist might want to get a bigger size. Im pretty small chested (kind of deflated 34c)- this is perfect. Not too much cleavage bc i dont have much! I think it might not be great if you have bigger chest. And theres no support (which doesnt matter for me- im wearing a sticky bra) Definitely invest in some boob tape (especially if you wear it as one shoulder).

So im shocked there arent more amazing reviews of this romper. Its awesome! So theres many different ways to wear it- the top has two large pieces of fabric. You can pull them straight up for a tank look, or combine them (as i did) for a sexy one shoulder. This way has a super sexy back. I wore this for my 40th birthday party, and was ok w a little sexy! If you want other ideas about how to wear this, check out review photos of the dress version (same designer). Thats what i did. I think this wouldnt work well if you are large chested. Im a smaller 34 C.

I originally ordered a different Herve Ledger dress (wanted something sexy for my 15th anniversary trip). That one arrived with a broken zipper, so they overnighted this one in a small and medium. Once again, the small size (which was the better fit) had a hole (the fabric on one of the front folds was coming apart). So I wore the medium. The medium was a bit stretched out on the top. It's definitely a pretty dress, but my general theory is that these tighter dresses have more wear issues and thus have more defects (bc people are pulling on them more). I've rented many other designers dresses on RTR and loved each one!
