I am 5'7" and wore the 4R with high heels. It was definitely a trip hazard going upstairs so make sure to hold it up. I originally ordered the 4L because they were out of the 4R, but 4L was way too long. I think you would need to be at least 5'10" to wear the long without issue.

Beautiful dress. I'm happy I read the suggestions on sizing because it definitely runs a couple sizes too big. I think the smaller size would have restricted movement in my arms.
