Gorgeous Fabric, Volume at waist/hips is tricky.
This is a beautiful dress, but the volume in waist and hips wasn't flattering on my petite frame. I think that it would look better on someone taller.

80s Theme Party Fun
I loved the 80s vibe of this one and was excited to wear it for a themed auction gala night, but the fit really didn't work for me. The sleeves were long and the shoulders were off for a petite person. Also, I don't understand the waist on this dress. I have a long torso anyway, so I am used to belted dresses not working for me natural waist, but this one seemed like it was almost an empire waist. Strange. Also, like others have said, it is quite short.

Gorgeous Fitted Top for Gala Night
I would give the top 5+ stars and the skirt 3 stars. The top is gorgeously fitted and so sexy and flattering. Unfortunately, the skirt poofs out and adds volume in a weird way making petite women look like wedding cakes. I will look for more dresses from the brand with the top design, but not the bottom. I didn't wear it. I am usually a 6 or 8, and the 6 fit really nicely on top, but the bottom was still a bit big and added perceived weight/volume in the hips.

Sparkly Dress for a Gold Themed Gala
I found it to be a little tight in the bust and a little loose in the hips and waist. The cut and ruching look curve and hourglass friendly, but that wasn't really my reality. It was a touch boxier and more matronly looking on me than I would have preferred, but I was happy to venture out of the black dress zone. It reminded me why I hate sequins, but it was less scratchy than most. Also, mental note to self, lace dresses snag and show wear faster and more easily than other dresses. This one definitely had been worn plenty.

Gorgeous Embroidery...so detailed!
Really beautiful dress. The one that I got was in perfect condition. Zipper is sticky due to fabric thickness in spots, but that’s only an issue if you are getting ready alone and not flexible. It was a touch big so I add a black ribbon at the waist to better define it, but it looked great either way.

Short and Clingy...not for me
I don’t mind short, and I don’t mind fitted, but I generally don’t like them both at the same time. While this dress was a pretty color, it was rather short and tight...and when you add that cape sleeve to the mix, it looked like an ice skating costume. I did not choose to wear it.

It is a flattering dress, but not an overtly sexy one. I like it and found it comfortable, but my husband found it ho-hum. The other dress that I ordered was more of a wow for both of us, so I went with that.

Very sexy, stretchy dress!
So I felt like the 8R ran a bit big, and I would have swapped it for a 8P or a 6, but they didn't have any. I wore it anyway and pulled a little jacket over it to compensate for a bit of strap gap. It was still gorgeous.

Not the way to go for a black and white ball
The cut/fit of this dress, especially where the waist is, make it incredibly unflattering. It makes the model look like she has a little belly. Imagine what it will do for an average build. Having a fitted top with white on the bottom is just a no! I got this as a back up, but it was such a bad fit, I wore the too large original dress with a little jacket.

Gorgeous Dress, Classy and Sexy
I wore the 8P although I would have preferred the 6P. The 6P was not available and the back up 6L was too long. The dress is stretchy and forgiving, so wearing it fitted looks great. I liked that it didn't look like every other long black dress out there.

Pretty Navy Color, Kind of Boxy Fit
I love navy, and I rented this in a 6 and an 8, but neither sized worked. I ended up returning both for fit. Both dresses were tight in the chest. The sort of straight cut and wide shoulder made me look boxy which is funny because I am pretty curvy. On a side note, the dresses all had a strong chemical smell which I don't remember from previous rentals. It seems either the drycleaning or storage conditions have changed. The mothball ball type scent was really offputting. I was really glad to have a back up of my own to wear.

I got the 6 and 8. Both fit, but because the thickness of the material, both were difficult to zip. The thick draping in the front added to my waist and was not flattering. I didn't wear the dress.
