Lovely gown, runs small
Ended up choosing my backup dress -- this definitely runs small. I'm almost always a 10, but I couldn't get anywhere close to zipping this one up. It's lovely and dramatic ... but definitely size up.

Great party dress!
I wore this for a murder-mystery party (I played a pageant queen), and it was a hit. It fit perfectly and was true to size! Would highly recommend ... even my husband wondered if I should keep it and we could find another place for me to wear it. :)

Now, I'm not tiny, so that's why I went for the 14, but it definitely runs in the area closer to 16. I got the 16 as a backup and I was SWIMMING in it. That said, it was very comfortable for the gay prom I went to (with my husband, who wore a red and black tux ... have to find the pics!), and the cape is just beyond fabulous. It was still a great pick because the style is very chic. It is baggy up top, though.
