The most incomprehensible rental ever
This is a genuinely baffling article of clothing. The top is huge, the bottom is extremely tight - I couldn’t even figure out how to get it on. They must have made this for a very specific body type and it just does not translate. Did not wear, but did stare puzzled into the mirror for a while.

Starry and romantic
I chose this dress for a wedding on a very hot summer day. I'm glad I did--it was very comfortable and didn't wrinkle in the heat. I didn't need to wear a bra with it and it looked great. I usually fluctuate between a 6 and an 8 but based on the reviews I picked the 8. I'm so glad I did--it definitely runs small. It's fitted and even the 8 was on the small side for me--after a 10-course meal, I was feeling it for sure. If you have a bigger frame with a wider-set rib cage and bigger bones, definitely size up. I got compliments all night long from everyone, and was comfy enough that I was able to dance until the party shut down. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing color palette, definitely fairly revealing
Wearing this dress was out of my comfort zone because of the peek-a-boo cutout under the bustline and because the bustline itself was so scant on fabric. But I took the plunge because I was so in love with the pattern and color palette. It was worth it--I felt a little exposed, and had to ensure I wasn't falling out by constantly retying it, but people loved it and went crazy for it. It was a unique fit and cut. It wrinkled easily, so I had to steam it before wearing it. Really cute but anyone with a bigger bust than mine might have some trouble.

Not flattering on me, but a really cute item for someone with a smaller bust
I wanted to love this skirt so much, but it just didn't look good on me. I have an hourglass figure and the skirt came up right under my bustline, making me look a bit squat. I tried it a number of ways--the waistband is elastic, so I even wore it around my hips, which it's not really designed for--but none of them really hit the mark for me. I think this skirt would be adorable on someone with a straighter figure and fewer curves / a smaller bust. It just kind of cut off right under my bra, which wasn't great for me.

Cute and casual romper

Sexy without trying too hard - great everyday wear
I really liked this dress and was thankful for the adjustable straps, because the bust didn't have a lot of give. The seam hit me in kind of a weird spot which didn't give me the greatest silhouette ever, but it was still overall quite flattering. It was extremely comfortable and I wore it multiple times (without a bra). The dress was nicer and better-constructed than I thought it would be--the pattern was intricate and I got tons of compliments. Would definitely recommend for a summertime date or more casual party.

Lighter than expected - cute skirt for everyday
For some reason, I expected this skirt to be a lot heavier and fuller. It was pretty lightweight, which made it great for everyday wear, dressing up with a snazzy top or dressing down with a t-shirt. I liked it but wasn't blown away by it--it was definitely cute and flattering, although ran on the large side, but I was hoping it would have a bit more body.

Flattering jumpsuit that goes from day to night
Really liked this piece. I wore it to work twice (in Los Angeles, where you can get away with things like that--the back is pretty open and may not work in more conservative areas). Was really flattering--the guy I'm dating even said he was "jealous of my pantsuit" and wished there was a male equivalent. The only issue I had was that the buttons are really hard to button--I know that sounds lame, but it took me forever to get them by myself, and even when I had help, people struggled. I paired this jumpsuit with some crazy print heels for a cocktail party and it went over well there too. All in all, really liked it.

Cute but didn't fit me right
I usually wear a 6, and originally had the 6 shipped to me as part of my Unlimited program. I have a larger frame with larger bones and I couldn't zip up the dress over my rib cage, which happens pretty rarely. It was just too tight for my frame and there was no give to the fabric at all. I sent it back and exchanged it for the 8 because I really wanted to wear it. The 8 was a bit too loose and with the linen, which wrinkles easily, looked a little sloppy. It wasn't very flattering. Not my favorite dress by a long shot.

Summer perfection - a little long
Absolutely loved this dress. It was a little too long for me, even with giant platform shoes, so expect to be picking it up when you walk. But super comfortable, super cute. Got tons of compliments, and felt lighter than air wearing it. The straps are adjustable, but even still, it was pretty loose in the bust for me. I didn't wear a bra as the back is very low, so I had to keep adjusting to make sure I didn't fall out. Still, one of my favorite rentals.

I have never received more compliments in all my days!
This dress was MAGIC. I rented it for the formal dinner at my 10-year college reunion, and people could not stop coming up to me and commenting on how amazing I looked. The dress fit like a glove; it's snug but there is some stretch to the material. The quality of the material is great, so it hugs your body without clinging to every nook and cranny. I felt really stunning and confident--one of the best dresses I have ever worn!

One of the greatest dresses I have ever worn!
Boy, did I love this dress. It was flattering, sexy, effortless, comfortable, and the print was gorgeous. I rented it for a promising first date and it went well enough for a second and third. I also wore it to a reunion event and got a ton of compliments. This dress boosted my confidence--it honestly made me feel beautiful. I wish I could buy it! Love it and can't wait to rent again!

A vibrant (but heavy and low-cut) splash of color
Enjoyed wearing this dress to my college reunion. Ultimately I don't think it was the best for my body type; even though the material was heavy, it clung to my body very tightly and showed off every nook and cranny in my midsection, which is my problem spot. It was very low cut, and it wasn't that supportive for me--my cleavage didn't look particularly great . But the color is fantastic and it got a lot of compliments from old friends!

Flattering and attention-grabbing
I got way more compliments than I expected from this dress. People were stopping on the street to compliment it! The fabric was thin (in a good way) and comfortable. It was a little longer than I expected--I wish it had been slightly shorter as it hit me in kind of a weird spot. Absolutely fantastic work dress.

A great way to make a subtle statement in the office

Cute and versatile everyday dress
I rented this to wear to work and on a date. Super cute, but dangerously short if you have a larger hip area like me. The fit was ever-so-slightly off for me - it was small in the hips and big in the waist so it kind of sagged a bit in the middle. But no matter, was super cute and got many compliments.

A great everyday dress if you have a figure it works for
This is a beautiful dress but I just didn't find it flattering on me. I usually wear between a 6 and an 8, depending on brand. I originally got the 8 and was swimming in it. Even the 6 was big. I have an hourglass figure and it just didn't hit me in the right spots. I wanted to love it--the pattern is gorgeous and the colors are vibrant (if a little different-looking in person, more of a muted fall palette) but I just didn't love the way it looked on me. Hopefully it works wonders for someone else!

Total Hollywood glam - felt like a million bucks
I rented this for a black tie wedding and love, love, loved it. I usually wear between a 6 and an 8 and the 6 fit me perfectly and hugged my curves like a glove. No bra necessary. Comfy, although a little tight in my broad shoulders. The only bummer was another woman at the wedding was wearing the same dress; I guess everyone loves Rent the Runway! :)
