I am 5'10 and wore about 4 inch heels and was able to dance in the Reg length (long would have been too long ) I probably could have gone down a size and would have preferred a big snugger fit but was able to go without a bra (I'm a 34D) even though it wasn't that snug . Wow. As a guy told me, he stopped in his tracks when he saw this dress. It's incredible. Thick material is comfy but it's very streamlined -- you might want light spanx for a really smooth fit. I was able to go braless (I'm a 34D) & the girls looked great. I typically wear a 6 or 8 & the 10 was perfect, so keep that in mind.

I wore this to work all day and got away with the sheer panel (not very noticeable but give it JUST enough edge), then to a formal cocktail affair in San Francisco. No wrinkles; it wore very well for some 10 hours total! The hemline is just gorgeous -- very unique. I wore my hair up & changed in to sparkly earrings to make it a bit more formal and it did the trick. A woman told me I was the best dressed person there... and this was a high society event. Would definitely recommend.

I carried this with the Bibhu Pinor Noir gown to the Grammys. The black accents perfecly complimented the black on the dress and the gold on my gold & black shoes. The clutch was a bit vintage, a bit edgy. Really liked it.

I wouldn't have chosen this dress, but I was in the NY showroom and the girls suggested it. I wore this to the Grammys in LA and literally turned EVERY head. The color is amazing (a dark fuschia). The rear view is seriously flattering. The thigh slit is super sexy (and high, be forewarned). I didn't wear a bra and was fine. You may want to wear Spanx (the front is tight and flat); I got away without them but work high briefs. I sat for hours at the Grammy ceremony and the dress didn't wrinkle and hung well through the after part(ies). Highly recommend. The photos don't do it justice.

Rachel Roy makes fantastic professional attire that has a bit of pizazz. This dress was incredibly flattering and comfortable (it's not the best photo... sorry!). The slit was something to be conscious of when sitting, but was totally appropriate when standing. I wore this for a work presentation in DC and stood out from the crowd of dark suits & dresses. With a black blazer, you could definitely do this for Fall. Highly recommend.

I wore this for a work dinner. Fit perfectly, but if you want a big more room, you might wish to size up. I'm 5'10" and it's on the short side, with a bit of cleavage, so it wouldn't be good for a "stuffy" event if you're curvy like me, but I found it fun and flirty and still professional. I tried to show the semi-peplum in the side photo -- the detail is really cute at the waist & sleeve and very flattering.

This was a great dress for a client dinner where I didn't want to be too buttoned-up (at Southfork Ranch from "Dallas" - see photo). I'm standing in a way that makes it look "pooched" in front -- that's me; not the dress! The dress was very flattering, comfortable, and cute. The keyhole neck is fun but not too revealing. The 8 was a bit loose (comfy for dancing). Material is heavy ponte so it doesn't tug anywhere. Would rent again.
