The color of this dress was very pretty. I ordered a size 4 and a 6 and was unable to zip either over my chest (zipper is on the side, I wear a 34D). I could physically hold the zippers together and the dress was not tight, but for whatever reason it wouldn't zip... it could've been me, could've been the zipper, combination of both...- I'm not sure! The size 6 actually felt a slight bit loose in the waist, so I was afraid to try to go up another size with the wedding being the next day. Fortunately RTR was great and sent me another dress that worked in time for the wedding.

RTR overnighted this dress to me when my first option didn't work, and I absolutely loved it! The color is bright, but not too much. I wore this dress to an all-outdoor wedding in October in South Carolina, so wasn't totally sure what to expect for weather, but the dress transitioned great from sunny, mid 70's to lower 60's at night. The dress runs large - I normally wear a 6 and was so glad that I sized down for the second size. I also wore the dress a little differently than intended and did not hook the clasp in the front, which gave the dress a v-neck neckline and worked well for me without being too revealing. I'm 5'3 and the size 4 was a good length - about mid thigh. The size 6 was a little longer than I would've liked, but it might have been better suited for someone a few inches taller. Also good dress for dancing! Totally wish I owned this one!

I rented a size 4 and size 6 for this dress. Like many reviewers said, the material is very thick. My rental was intended for a fall wedding, but I would not wear this kind of material until winter (side note- I live in the Southeast :) ) The fit of the dress was very strange on me. The shoulders in both sizes both had an awkward, rumpled gap that wouldn't lay flat. The waist was extremely unflattering in both sizes - it didn't cinch my waist at all and the full skirt went straight out, making my middle section look very short and wide. Unfortunately, I ended up returning this dress for a credit to use on future orders, but I do plan to use RTR again soon!
