Worked out great
I wore this with a black sequin dress for which I originally thought I could wear what was already in my jewelry wardrobe, but everything was too casual. This necklace to the rescue. I paired well with the flashy black sequins, and was a classy addition. I'd originally wanted a pop of color, but ended up being very happy with how the pearl, CZs, and moonstone-ish gems enhanced rather than fought with all the sequins. Also liked that it was easy to make multiple lengths.

Comfortable and pretty
Worn to a charity gala where I was on my feet all night. The dress was comfortable to wear and I started getting compliments a soon as I got out of my car.I may have just gotten lucky, but I didn't have any trouble getting it zipped. You do have to contort yourself a little, but I worked it up and down a couple of times before putting on the dress and it went well, even with a bit of a frozen shoulder. Only thing is that it seemed to fall slightly unevenly at the hem, but seemed to relax over the evening. I wore a plunging pushup bra and nothing showed. I'd rent it again.

Not for an apple
Well made and great, soft lace in a beautiful color, but the shirred banding around the midsection did my apple body no favors. When I tried the next size up, the chestial region was way too big. Alas, too bad. I've never felt lace this soft, and the color was a beautiful purpley blue. Well made dress.

A show stopper
Full sequins make this bold apparel. It is an undeniably beautiful dress. It's a good, somewhat short length, even on the vertically challenged. Heeding other reviewers' warnings, I didn't even deal with the zipper and got it on over my head. It was no problem at all and went on easily that way. One issue, though: I am not so big in the chestial region and this dress really, REALLY gaped on me without tape or pinning. Should be especially good for the more thoroughly endowed.

Classy sheath
This is my second favorite rental so far. I obviously haven't been looking at the right sheaths when shopping retail, because this one fit my short, apple frame perfectly without accentuating the stomach area, which I hadn't thought possible before RtR. I thought I'd need to size up since the dress is close fitting, but they didn't have that size available, so chose to go with my regular size and I'm glad I did, because bigger would have been too baggy. The fabric was a slightly metallic copper on a black background, but not *very* metallic or shiny. I thought it looked classy, but that also made it a little more conservative than I was expecting. Nicely cut across the shoulders and at the armholes, so that it isn't too revealing there, and it's easy to wear with a regular bra. I paired it with a goldish crystal bib necklace and copper bracelets. I'm sure I'll be renting this one again.

Good choice for a non-formal fundraising event
While I liked this dress overall, there were a couple of fit points that were weird on me. I'm short, so dresses shown on six foot tall models usually come to just about or below my knees. This one hit about an inch above. Not bad at all, just notable. I'm also not huge in The Girls, and found this to have a loose fit there. Also, the mid-section kept wanting to ride up over my apple. Since it isn't too fitted there, it wasn't hard to belt it down and surreptitiously pull it back down now and again. The flouncy skirt *may* have been slightly less appropriate for my age, but I don't think it was too terribly young to work, and if you're around 45 or under, don't even hesitate if it looks like it will otherwise work for you. The good parts: this one was perfect for brief attendance at a casual fundraising event, where I wanted a nice dress without being overdressed. Many people were in jeans, and I felt like I fit in. Comfortable, substantial fabric in both the top and skirt, with a good length on the sleeves, which hit a little below the elbow on my short arms. I really loved the goldish/silverish wash of the fabric. and the print was interesting and pretty. Jewelry: strictly speaking, I don't think it needs a necklace, since the mesh piece back and front adds its own interest, however, I did end up pairing it with a golden crystal triangular bib, and included tri-color metal rings, a couple of copper bracelets, and a silver and gold watch. This wasn't my favorite dress ever rented, but if you need something on the more casual side of dressy, it's a good choice.

Keep Them Guessing Dress

The hardest thing about this dress was having to part with it.
I gasped out loud when I opened the package and saw the metallic green brocade, and then immediately blurted out "I want to wear this one." It's a beautiful dress. If I could give it more stars on looks and make, I would. What a stunner: the cut, placement of the princess seaming, the neckline, length on my 5'2" frame, everything. This is one I'd consider buying retail as a permanent addition. Wore this to a nice restaurant. To let the dress shine, I wore minimal jewelry, in white metal: triple cz drop earrings, a couple of rings, a diamond tennis bracelet and a cuff. No necklace, because the neckline didn't seem to need one. Shoes were a muted pewter, and a purple evening clutch for funk. If (when) I rent this again, I'll look into going up one size. I'm an apple shape, and found this a little tight across the hips. If I were to own it (oh, please, please, one day) I'd get a bigger size and tailor the top to fit. It still deserves five+ stars even for that. So glad I picked this one. EDITED TO ADD: I've now rented this dress in three sizes: 16, 18, and 20. While I thought I'd be better off with the 20, it looks like my golden size was this first choice of 18, as a subsequent rental of the larger size was too big upstairs, and fell longer in the hem than the 18, which is about the most perfect thing I've ever worn. I recommend using spanx if you have concerns about problem areas below and don't have a lot up top. I found that the dress hugged me in the right way, and gently eased throughout the night.

This one didn't fit my body quite right. It was a backup in case my first choice didn't fit.
The dress was very well made and felt comfortable. I liked the use of matte sequins. The lace mesh sleeves are a good option for transitional weather, and I liked that they were a good length for my short arms.
