I rented this last minute for a rehearsal dinner because I was feeling blah about the options in my closet. The color is really amazing and I received so many compliments! I love that it was fitted just enough up top to accent the belly, but didn't wear like a mumu. For reference pre-pregnancy I am 5'5", 34C, 140# and at 33 weeks I was wearing a S/M or an 8/10 maternity and around 170#, 36C. As others mentioned, it's tight up top but I could only order a S and M at the time. Thankfully the M worked and the tight chest didn't bother me. The L would have been better up top, but might have looked too big on the bottom. Overall great dress that I'd rent again while preggo.

Ordered as part of my unlimited but sent it back before wearing. The ruching goes all the way to the hem, and I'm not a fan of extra fabric at the thigh/knee when prego. The sleeves also stick out about 1" beyond the shoulder and I have broad shoulders so I felt very star treky. Fit was great (I am typically a 4/6 pre-pregnancy and at 32w the 4 fit well) and the fabric is nice and thick. I just wish it was cut differently.

At first I thought this dress was just OK but now I am thinking of renting it again. I have it packed as my everyday bag and I love it!! I love that you can swing it over your shoulder as a purse or wear as a backpack. It's especially useful to have the option when I'm out and about with my toddler. The color of the leather paired with the rose gold detail is gorgeous (from someone that only prefers yellow gold). I wish there were additional small pockets inside, as things get lost, but the rear slip pocket is great for my cell and side zip pocket great for small things that you need easy access too like gloss.

I ordered this in a M instead of a S since I didn't want it to be too short. As others mentioned, it was a bit loose at the right under arm and the lining sometimes peeked out. I rented this via Unlimited for a few weekend trips and a wedding I had coming up. The light blue makes it a perfect summer neutral. I wore this to a vineyard wedding in SoCal at the end of June. As others mention the fabric is great for a summer wedding because it's comfortable and breathes really well. The printed layer has small holes laid over a light pink lining. I'm usually a 4/6 in street clothes and 6/8 in designer and the 6 was perfect. The top was a tad loose so I kept adjusting it, but no big deal (I'm a 34C and wore a strapless bra). The waist was perfect but I still wore spanx since I had a baby 10 months ago, and didn't want to worry about enjoying dinner and dessert. My backup size was a 4, which would have zipped but been too tight and an 8 would have looked too big. Such a great print without being loud. Would totally rent again!

I rented this through my unlimited subscription for an upcoming trip to Nantucket. I'm usually a 4/6 in street clothes, or a 6/8 in designer. The 4 was perfect and a 2 might have even worked but I prefer the room. It's a great material that can be thrown over a bathing suit to transition from the beach to drinks, or brunch to the pool. But also nice enough for showers or casual weddings. The fabric is almost like a crepe and not too thick but not too thin, and is un-lined. The colors are beautiful and bright but subtle enough for casual day at work. I might have to buy it!

I wore this to a fall wedding 2 months postpartum. I was a 4/6 in street clothes, 6/8 in designer prior to pregnancy and worried about sizing on this dress as I saw it was tight in the waist, and I still had a small bump to hide and larger chest from breastfeeding. I decided to size up to an 8 and 10 in this and ended up in the 8. The waist was comfortably snug but the top ended up being just a tad big. The cut of the dress and skirt perfectly covered my small bump and I LOVED having pockets. Fabric is thick and kept me warm on a mild fall day. Color was beautiful - showed as more of a plum red than a bordeaux.

Rented this for a bach. party in Nashville where the bride wanted us to wear a LBD. I wanted a fun dress that could wear with cowboy boots and still look dressy. The flouncy skirt helped that look. I'm 5'5" and it was slightly short - sexy not revealing so long as you dont bend over! The fabric was thick which worked since it was chilly, but I wouldn't wear this in August. The 4 fit, but was snug and after eating BBQ for 2 days I was happy to have the 6. I could have worn an 8 to have some room but was happy with the fit of the 6. The pins actually un-clip so you could wear it as a crop/skirt combo. My husband also loved it too, so hoping to rent again for a date night. Can easily wear with tights, heels, booties, etc.

Rented for my rehearsal dinner in December. Ordered a 4 and 6 and the 6 was so comfortable that I didnt even bother trying the 4. It's a form fitting dress without being revealing, conservative yet sexy. The ruching is awesome so you wont have to worry about wearing spanx or overeating. The material is thinner than I thought but it was so comfortable! The liner does peak out at the bottom so fashion tape recommended. I ended up trying the 4 before I shipped it back and it fit like a glove as well, just a slightly more snug at my shoulders. Would definitely rent again.

The 4R fit but was very snug. The 6R was great - gave me enough wiggle room, the bust was a bit big but a bra fixed that issue. The thighs were a little snug for me but not a deal breaker. Like everyone says the skirt is short, so I brought nude dance shorts to wear underneath though I would recommend a nude or white skirt or slip to make up some length if you're worried. The tulle is longer than expected. I didn't end up wearing it for my after party because I adored my wedding gown, but it's definitely an awesome choice for reception or hitting the town after your wedding!

I'm not usually a fan of the fur stole for weddings, I think they can look dated, but the natural look and texture on this one was so stunning!! I rented it last minute for my Christmas wedding and I am so glad I did. I received so many compliments and it actually kept me warm in 40 degree, windy weather. It looks amazing in photos as well. I rented this for my engagement shoot in Boston and couldn't have chosen a more perfect dress. It was dressy and feminine enough to work for the shoot yet casual enough to wear with sandals (while he had flip flops on). You can definitely dress it up with a wedge or heel. The lace back detail is awesome. You can't wear a regular bra with it, but if you're small-chested the cut of the bodice actually enhances the bust which was nice and the waistline is slimming! Fit's true to size; I can be anywhere from a 2-6 and the 4 was perfect, a 2 would have fit more snug but a 6 would have been too big to wear so size down if needed. The material it a thick linen/cotton and has a polyester lining underneath which stuck out a little, I just put some fashion tape on it to keep it tucked in. I want to rent this again stat.

I rented this dress from the Flatiron location after my previous dresses didn't fit. I immediately loved it in the showroom and was SO HAPPY when it fit in the dressing room. The 6R fit well, I could have used an extra inch or two in length with my 3" heels (I am 5'5") but worked for being in a pinch. I might have been able to go down to a 4 (long) for a more fitted feel but the 6 gave me room to eat without abandon and dance without worry. The fabric is thick great for a fall or winter wedding or a chilly spring evening event. The rich berry color is also beautiful and just enough gold/bronze sparkle at the collar to give it some pizzazz. I will definitely rent this gown/designer again for my next black tie or winter event - especially if new colors are offered.

I rented this for a work holiday party and paired it with black tights. Like other reviews it fit more snug around the hips and loose around the stomach and top, so not a traditional shift. This shape worked for me though, I don't normally wear shifts because I like showing some shape and the hugging hip was just enough to show some femininity while not making me worry about all the holiday snacking I've done! I ordered a 4 and 6 and accidentally received a 4 and 10 (mismarked dry cleaning bag) but was given a coupon code for a future rental (amazing RTR customer service). The 10 actually fit, but as a true shift and a bit long. I went with the 4 (I'm a true 4). It worked perfectly but I was pulling it down every so often, a 6 might have been best for a work event. It was a bit itchy but all sequin dresses are! Price of beauty. Also, the gold is more of a matte-gold sequin which toned the shininess down in person, proving to be better for my event - but it was still shiny in photos. Fun, unique, classy dress!

I received this dress in a 4R as a backup to a red dress that didn't fit and I am so glad this worked because it's gorgeous! The color and fabric is stunning, the material on the bottom of the dress flows beautifully when you walk. The 4 was a snug at the waist but I have a wide rib cage and I think a 6 would have felt better, but might have looked big with the full skirt. I'm 5'5" and wore a 3" heel and the length was great, plus I wasn't stepping on the dress after I changed into flats. If you are taller or planning on wearing a higher heel, opt for the long. I would definitely rent this again - and you can't beat the color in a sea of black tuxes and gowns. Beautifully designed dress!

I typically wear a 2 or 4 but wanted to size up based on the reviews but the 6 wasn't available so I figured a 4 would be perfect and risked the 2. Neither fit unfortunately and I don't think a 6 would have either. An 8 or even 10 would have been the right size. I am a 34C, 26" waist and while the bottom of the dress and length was perfect (I am 5'5" and would have worn a 3" heel) the top couldn't zip past my rib cage. RTR came through as always and overnighted me 2 other dresses which worked! I ended up wearing the Ruby Red Gala Gown in a 4R which was snug but worked. This dress offers more sass than the Ruby Red Gala but maybe next time! This is gorgeous for any black tie event - but size a few - better a bit loose than not able to zip!

This dress isn’t something I’d typically wear but I was attending a rehearsal dinner and thought I’d try it out - it was only $25 after renting a dress for the wedding, you can’t beat that! I tried on the 0 and the top of the dress seemed to be too large for a 0, so I tried on the 2 and it fit much better. The color was gorgeous, and dress was form fitting enough to show you have a figure without overdoing it which was great. If I got a bigger size it might have felt more like a doily, so definitely order 2 smaller sizes if your debating it. It's very comfortable too which was great, I wore it all night even after everyone changed. This is something that would be perfect for a fall or winter wedding, bridal or baby showers etc. I paired with white and gold necklace and nude pumps.

I was nervous about the dress’s fit because I can fall anywhere from a 0 to 6 depending on the designer but average 2 or 4. At first I wasn’t as excited about it, but when I put the dress on after I was dolled up for the wedding I was absolutely in LOVE with it!! My boyfriend kept commenting on how great it looked. I ended up going with a 4 which was perfect, not too snug or loose, although I imagine the 2 would have fit as well since there is a little give. I was able to wear a regular bra and pinned the straps . Also used dress tape to fold the back hem in which was peeking out beyond the lace. Sequins we’re not irritating, found it super comfortable and great for dancing! Only downside was that the lace looked a bit worn since its delicate, nothing greatly obvious. I paired it with black pumps, black clutch and delicate gold and crystal earrings. It was my first time renting and I cannot wait for a reason to do it again!
