Absolutely perfect dress for a March wedding in Key West. The 4 fit like a glove, but I wore the 6 for a little extra space (the 4 would've honestly probably looked a little better, as the 6 had just a little bit of extra fabric, but both worked fine, and that's what I love about Black Halo). This piece was both fun and flattering, and as with everything Black Halo, not too restrictive to move and dance and have fun. Would recommend!

This dress was a STUNNER for a black tie wedding in late spring. It was shockingly both super comfortable and flattering. The material is stretchy enough to fit nicely over the curves, while flattering through the mid-body/torso, and it also did not get too hot. The leg slit is just enough to give the look it a little something extra while keeping it classy and modest- it was not too high or too open, I was never uncomfortable or worried about it. True to size, with a little give/stretch in the material, so you definitely don't need to size up. The only issue I had with my specific rental was that the top seemed to have been a bit stretched out, more so than it should have been for my size, likely just due to different body types wearing it previously, so I did use a safety pin on the no-sleeve side to give myself more support (I did not wear a bra, so that could've helped too), but was able to hide it underneath the flap, so it all worked out. Multiple people told me that I needed to buy this dress - would highly recommend for any formal warm weather affair, especially for the tall & athletic ladies!

OBSESSED!!! I wore this to a summer, black tie optional wedding, and it was literal perfection. Probably my favorite RTR item ever. It runs true to size. I normally wear a 4, but ended up wearing the 2 because I didn't want to wear a bra and wanted more support, so preferred the tighter option in the chest, but I would've worn the 4 with a bra. I got countless compliments on this dress throughout the night and also on all my pictures afterwards, with multiple people asking where I got it. It was beautiful and just the right amount of fun while still being sophisticated and formal. It was comfortable to dance in all night and was light enough for the July heat in Austin, TX. I absolutely recommend renting this! I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Wore this to a rehearsal dinner & welcome party for a summer wedding and loved it! It would have been perfect for me one size up. I wore the 4 (my normal size), but the torso area was too short, so it was riding up in the crotch (I'm 5'8"). If I had the 6 (it wasn't available for the back-up size), I think it would have been perfect. The material is amazing, it was stretchy so it was super comfortable and also breathable in the July heat in Austin, TX. The side cut-outs do go pretty far into the stomach area, so just be aware of that. Because of that, I did end up wearing a shawl for the more formal rehearsal dinner part of the evening and then took it off for the welcome party. Wearing a bra seems pretty difficult in this, but I definitely didn't need one- it held me up & felt supportive (I'm a full C). Overall, I would definitely recommend this piece, but size up (or get the larger size as your back-up) if you're tall/have long legs!

Pretty dress for a warm weather occasion. It's a rather simple dress, not a stand-out piece, but perfect if you just want a nice, easy outfit for a formal event. I'm usually a 6 but got the 4 in this so that it was a little more fitted in the mid-section, but be careful because it is pretty short (I'm 5'8").

LOVE this, just wish I went one size down and got the 4 instead of the 6. If it was a little less expensive, I probably would've ended up buying this in the 4. This was actually a very lightweight jumpsuit, and the legs are very open from the knee down, so I would recommend for warmer weather events. The chest is pretty low-cut, but the top is secure so there's no worry about slips, and I was actually able to wear a normal bra, not that you necessarily need one.

I originally ordered the small, which was the right tightness, but the torso area was wayyy too short and it gave me a wedgie, so I had to get the medium which meant it wasn't as tight around the mid section but it was a much better length in the torso. If you are taller than 5'5", you probably need the medium for this reason. That being said, the medium worked fine, and I got tons of compliments. This is definitely a piece that sticks out in the crowd. The material is thick, and the fine quality makes it an option for formal events.

This dress was very fun and pretty and perfect for a summer vacation to Florida. I just wore it out to dinner, but you could definitely wear this to a nicer event or party. I think it runs a little big, and I should've gone down one size to the 4, but since it's meant to look flowy and breezy with the ruffles, it didn't look bad being a bit loose. The slit added an extra element and was not too high. The dress itself came down to my ankles, and I could comfortably wear sandals without stepping on it.

Loved it so much that I bought it! I'm tall (5'7-5'8"), and it can be hard to find rompers with the right proportions for my body, but this one was perfect- the torso length is just right, and it's not too short!!! It goes down to my mid-thigh, which is amazing, as most rompers end up being too short on me. It's a very cute, classic summer style. It has a tie in the middle of the chest, but I think it looks better without, and I just tuck that behind (easy to do).

I rented this as my bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding. It is a very classic bridesmaid dress in my opinion, but you could probably wear it to a very formal event or gala. I wore the petite because the regular wasn't available, and you could see the majority of my feet (I'm 5'7"), but that was okay with nude shoes. The dress was very beautiful. It was tight/secure in the top (I didn't need a bra and was never worried about a slip), while flowy at the bottom (great for twirling). I was able to wear spanx underneath without lines showing, though you don't necessarily need them as the dress keeps you pulled in with the fitted mid section. Would recommend.

I absolutely loved this dress (would've bought it if it wasn't so expensive), and I consider myself picky. I'm 5'8", 140 lbs with a D chest, and am most often a size 6, but the 4 was better in this one as the material gives/stretches, and I didn't want the extra fabric in the mid-section since the style is meant to really hug the body. So I'd say most people could probably size down. I had no issues with the 4 in the chest area either- it was not too revealing at all, and it was secure, so I was never worried about as slip (even during some intense dancing). The dress was extremely flattering, and even with the tight fit, moving/dancing/eating/etc. were no problem with the forgiving material. One thing to note is that I was not able to wear anything under it (you could see underwear lines), but the material is fairly thick so I had no issue with that, and I wouldn't recommend wearing a bra anyways since the top is structured and secure and will hold you in & up.
