I wore this dress to an award banquet we had in Hawaii. I felt the pattern was a perfect fit for the environment. Overall, I loved the design and fit of the dress. This fit to a T.

I will be renting this again for sure! I got so many compliments.

I liked it more than I thought I would. At first, the inner slip was ill-fitting… like the outer dress layer was too tight… but it straightened out. The open back isn’t an issue because there’s a clip midway down. Oh! And the fabric feels nice! Like cozy soft nice.. not at all how it looks. Magical mermaid vibes for sure. Tight waistline band… snug, not unbearable though. @dawnpriscilla on IG for more views. 

The dress was light-weight and almost had a slight velvet texture on the top. I received SO many compliments on this dress and absolutely loved it! So comfy and perfect for dancing all night long at a wedding

I really needed a 6L, but that size wasn’t available. It was tight at my waist, but fine everywhere else. Luckily, it didn’t restrict my movement. 

I didn’t need to wear a bra, or even nipple covers. It was very comfortable to wear, except for the tight waistband. I would rent this dress again in size 6L.
The dress is high quality, with a substantial black lining. The dots have a raised, light velvet texture.

I'm normally a size 4 but felt comfortable in the size 6. I left the back open and was comfortable not wearing a bra. I'm 5' 5", and the regular length worked in 4" heels, but I could have gotten the longer version too if I wanted a more formal look. Excellent dress, I had so many compliments on it! 

I got so many compliments. The colors of the dress really stood out at a black tie wedding. I was afraid that the length might be too long because I don’t wear heels that are too high. The length was just right.. I am 56 and wore 2 inch heels.

This is a size 2. But I should rent the 4. It is a great dress. Received a lot of compliments 

I’m 5’11” so this fit like a midi, but it was perfect. I did have to size up based on reviews (I normally wear an 8-10) although I could have fit into the 10, the 12 felt great on and gave me some breathing room. There’s a clasp in the back so you could wear a regular bra with it, but I left it undone to have a bit of a more open back and just used boob tape. The pattern is a velvety texture, and so vibrant! I got so many compliments.

I wish it wasn’t as expensive because I want to buy it. Great fit. 5’9” 140lb 
I liked the fit 

The print on this is similar to a mosaic. It fit perfectly. TTS - slimming and great colors. The black lining was sticking out a bit on the skirt and I taped the midline to pull it up, so as not to be seen. Perfect black tie dress. 

Saloni never misses. this dress was stunning, unusual in a good way, comfortable and just really lovely. 10/10 recommend! Fit True to size 

I ordered a 4 petite and likely could have gone with a 4 regular.  It’s was a bit tight in the waist when sitting.  Length could have accommodated a regular length.  I was a bit disappointed that the black liner hung uneven and showed at the bottom.  But lots of compliments and I felt great in it. Was a bit surprised at the open back requiring a last minute bra change so  be aware.

If you're in between sizes I would size up! The zipper and waist does not have any stretch at all. I sized up and it was perfect fit. Im 5'3, 150lbs. I carry in my momma belly and breasts and felt well covered. The back is open so it's best without a bra or with stickies. The length was to my ankles so if all are made the same length, taller people may consider this a midi dress. 

My ONLY gripe... RTR should have us type in what zip code our event is and refuse to rent out the dress twice in the same areas for the same dates. Another guest rented and wore the same dress to the wedding which was a disappointing. There should be a way to avoid that.

For my body type it was a perfect fit and was sooo flattering and sexy while still being very formal. I actually left the back middle clip unclipped so it was more open and loved it w a more backless look. Lots of compliments at the wedding and love the greens 💚

This came with tags on, which always is nice! It was, as other reviewers mentioned fairly snug in the waist, but that works for my body type and I thought it was super flattering -- loved the back on the dress too. I felt elegant but not basic. The fabric had a really cool texture. Received many compliments on the dress, too!

Wore to a wedding and received so many compliments. Loved the high neck and tie in the back. The fabric pattern is SO cool, like a velour mosaic. Looked gorgeous by the ocean. Rent it!!

Originally rented to wear for a wedding, but then found second life as a statement skirt for work. Paired with crop sweater, leather belt and suede tall boots. Looks like an absolute work of art! An absolute must rent!

Waist hits high and I ended up needing to size up. Once I got the right size the dress was perfect. Eye-catching pattern and very comfortable!

Attended a wedding with a funky formal dress code & this dress was PERFECT! It was so fun but also felt really put together. Also, the length was perfect for me. I’m a shortie at 5’3

Got so many compliments on this one. Gorgeous material and pattern. The waist was a little tight, definitely not a lot of give. So if you’re in between sizes, I’d probably size up.

Fit well. I would say it was a little short. True size I love Sonny dresses, I think the one I got felt like it wasn't the best quality. The lining popped out underneath the dress itself in the zipper inside him lines made a weird shape on my body.

So many compliments on the dress. I wish it was a little longer for us tall girls. 

Saloni’s prints are always the best. I do wish with this style they would only have the back above the bra-line open as it makes it hard to wear to work unless you do something gross like wear a camisole, which is what I had to do. But so many compliments all day long. 

I wore this to a black tie fundraiser and got so many compliments!  There wasn’t much difference in waist size between the 2 and 4, so I would size up. The waist was surprisingly snug, but perhaps that was because on me it fell just above my natural waist, hitting the bottom of my rib cage.  But I loved it and felt very pretty in it. 

My daughter named this the peacock dress! I agree it definitely lets you make a statement, but the cut is subtly conservative which I appreciate.  Wish the side seams laid more smoothly on the hips - but print distracted from it.

I got the 4P and 6R. 
4P fit, but as other reviewers said the waist has no give.  The lining was definitely hanging below the outer layer on the 4P. I was able to remedy this temporarily with fashion tape, but RTR should fix this. At 5’1” the length of the 4P was good with a 2 inch heel. It would have been too short with any higher heel. A stick on bra was necessary as the back is open. The 6R  was more comfortable overall, but too long even with a 3 1/2 inch heel. 6P probably would have been perfect but it wasn’t available. 
This dress is gorgeous, elegant and a statement. Rent it! 

The black slip fell out the bottom.  Condition of dress was not perfect.  Dress was too short and waist a little tight. I’m 5’7”.  Found out last minute that tall wasn’t available. Otherwise, beautiful colors.


I love the fit and pattern and wore this to a fancy rehearsal dinner the night before a black tie wedding. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5 is because the hem is funky- the top layer is slightly stretchy and the bottom layer isn’t, so it sticks out. I am 5’8 and the regular was slightly more of a midi fit, I would order this again in Long and I think that might resolve the hem issue. 

Wore this to a wedding and absolutely loved the fit, coverage (it was slightly chilly) and detail. Total peacock vibes. Only thing to note is the upper back puffs out a little bit which I was expecting, otherwise gorgeous! 

Really pretty dress and snatches your waist! Open back with the tie detail was nice and the material was high quality, would rent again
