I couldn't get the hook done on the back to save my life. But this was so comfortable and flattering and if that hook wasn't an issue, I'd buy this.

Super flattering and came with the tags still on.
The fabric is soft, Jersey knit but the dress is not clingy. Love Trina Turk clothes and they're typically lined - this isn't, but it still fit beautifully.

Fits like j crew dresses. The seam at the bust does not give and fits perfectly, but the hips were huge.

It's a little shopworn but that also makes it soft. The hem drops below the seam in one spot in the back. It was fun to wear an edgier jacket in my conservative office

I actually didn't realize the top wasn't white. It's light gray or maybe even super pale lavender? The torso was okay but the sleeves were too wide and not flattering on my shape.

The uneven neckline is very flattering and not cut low at all. Would be great under a jacket. I felt that it was slightly too snug for my purposes. Runs small.

I wear giant pearl studs every day and these were a pretty and girly twist to the traditional studs.
They aren't huge, and are pretty - but understated. Nobody will tell you they love your earrings, but they secretly do.

Good second choice/backup dress
Overall, Monique Lhullier seems to run a little snug. I am a size eight but with a thicker middle after two babies. The 8R was too tight to zip. The 10R was loose in the bust, and even with a padded strapless bra and chicken cutlets, it was slightly loose (although wearable). I felt pretty, and this was a great dress to hide a mom tummy, but it wasn't the most flattering thing in the world.
