This coat was fun and unique. I didn't get compliments on it but I thought it was cool. I brought it as my coat for a trip to Ireland in May and wore it every day. I love the pattern and that these are pants. I wanted to love this and was very excited to wear it on vacation but the XS was gigantic on me. I'm 5'4" and 115 lbs and I could almost take the pants off without unzipping the back because the waist was so big. I was hoping it would fit a bit high and snug around the midsection as the picture on the model shows, but it was drooping low, with my hips barely holding it up. and the pants looked comically large and frumpy as well, as if there was too much material. I could tell that these were good quality. The material was very heavy/thick which is kind of weird for a pair of shorts that you are probably wearing in warm weather (definitely not light and breezy). I love the pattern. The fit was great, except the pants were a bit long on me (but I do have short legs for my body). I wore it with a small black heel which dressed it put a little. The material was awesome - felt expensive. My favorite part was that it looked like 2 separate piece but had the ease of being one. I'd definitely recommend this jumpsuit. It fit perfectly. The low cut in front was not as low as I was expecting and it was not too revealing on a flat chest. This dress is so much more than it seems. The detail is amazing - especially the racer back with the cut-outs. However, my personal favorite part was it's spin effect. The perfect dress for dancing!! It reminded me of when I was a little girl and would test every dress for "the spin effect" - meaning the dress skirt would have to come up to 180 degrees when i twirled in order to pass. Unfortunately I only got to wear this dress to a wedding brunch, so no dancing ensued. For me personally, I feel like this dress ran true to size, but I also have a very small rib cage and do have to admit that when I ate a VERY BIG brunch I really wanted to unzip it (thanksgiving style). I can understand why people say it runs small, so I would suggest renting one size larger as your backup. Additionally, although it fit my upper body (sans food) like a glove, I barely filled out the boob area. I am flat chested, so this makes sense. So, if you are flat chested, I would suggest wearing one of those tape on breast enhancement stick ons - just to give you an extra size. To sum up, this dress was awesome; order it if you're on the fence (my bf hated it online and loved it in real life). I want to order it again to give it the use it deserves!

You could wear this dress for anything, and it's great for all body types. I had no idea what size came in the mail but it fit perfectly. I wore it for a rehearsal dinner and received tons of compliments (per usual when I RTR). It is very sophisticated and preppy but you can make it fit your style with accessories and hair styles. I tried to turn the preppy into "hippie chic" by doing a heidi hair style and using KiraKira's beautiful jewelry and handbag. My one caution would be that if when you sit or raise your arms, it can get a bit short... otherwise, this dress is 100% perfect for any occasion!

This dress was great - especially if you feel like eating at your event. The only reason I said it ran slightly large is because it was a bit boxy on me (not form fitting). However, I think this was a good thing or else it would have looked a bit slutty, as it is short and very GOLD. Supposedly I was "The Girl with the Gold Dress" at the wedding, which made it very memorable. In some photos i thought it may have made me look bigger than I actually am because it wasn't tight at the waist. I feel like this dress would be amazing on a girl with long legs to really show them off (unfortunately my legs are kind of a bit dumpy for my body - think umpa lumpa). When I first tried on this dress I was a little skeptical because I'm not used to showing so much skin (especially in the front). It may run slightly big but you can hide that by tying the back tighter. However, that still meant that more skin showed in the front from the dress hanging longer. I actually rented this for a Welcome dinner for a wedding in Martha's Vineyard but was too scared to wear it because I thought it may be too scandalous - especially since I was attending with my boyfriend and his parents. However, I wore the dress for the Sunday brunch after the wedding and my boyfriend's parents LOVED it and didn't think it was too sexy at all. In fact, they thought it was pretty and cute and great for and mini getaway island wedding. I wish I wore it for the pre-wedding dinner, but am glad it got some use. My favorite part is the way it flows and spins! So fun for dancing.

I think the dress would have been very pretty if it had fit (had been about two sizes smaller). I'm not a very tiny person (5'4" and 110-115) but the dress was swimming on me to the point where I thought it may have been mislabeled. It definitely seemed like I was trying on a size 4. I thought it was cute though and was going to try to make it work but my boyfriend said it was so big that it looked silly, so I decided to go with one of my own dresses in my closet unfortunately. Sadly, this was my first rent the runway experience in which I couldn't even wear the dress.

I wore this dress to a brunch bridal shower at Bryant Park. I believe it would have fit me perfectly except for the fact that it was noticeably worn. It wasn't so much that the lace was tattered but extremely stretched out (especially on top). I am small on top but I thought Id be safe with the size 0; however, I still had to be conscious that the dress wasn't dropping so far down that I'd be flashing the guests. I've read other comments that the arm holes were tight. I had the opposite problem. Someone before me obviously wore this dress in a size or two too small, so the arm holes were very stretched out and sort of looked like little wings when I had my arms down at my side. Even with all these problems though, I got many compliments on the dress, which I was not expecting. So it was not a perfect RTR experience but I learned my lesson on renting newer dresses instead of ones that have been around a while. I feel like I also did some great RTR PR by telling everyone who asked me where I got my dress to check out the site, and they all seemed pretty enthused about it.

This dress was my backup. I really liked it and had a hard time choosing between it and my number one choice. It was extremely comfortable, flattering, and the lace aspect put it into the trendy realm. I had trouble choosing between this dress and the other one I ordered, so I asked a few of my guy friends to help me pick and the score was 2-2!! I ended up not going with this dress because I felt the other one had a little bit more personality, but this would have been a great choice too.
