Awful fit
This is cut for a Barbie doll- waist is super tight, bust is huge. I put it on while getting ready, figuring the elastic waist would make it fine- 20 min later it was already leaving indents on my skin. The top was gapping so much too. Sent right back.

Fun top in person
This is a cute, cropped sweater that works well in person. On video calls the colors look like the Jamaican flag and the pattern lines a bit chaotic, so I’d say better for in-person days. Would rent again though.

Cute, but needs a belt
These pants are a great, different work look, but it's a bit odd that they have an elastic waist with no belt to cover the elastic. Also a bit long for a 5'3" person, but doable with the right shoes!

Super cute and fun, not great for sitting all day
I wore this for a work trip, and it was super cute, worked well with a white blouse. I will say though, sitting all day became kind of uncomfortable as the lining doesn't go very far, so you're sitting on lace. I'm sure the backs of my legs looked like a nightmare after... Very cute though, and would rent again!

Gorgeous print, awful fit in the top
I tried both a 4 and a 6 in this, and even sizing up, the chest is SO ill fitting. The spaghetti straps are super long, so I thought maybe you're supposed to wear the top loose, but then it cuts across mid-boob. So instead I shortened the straps so it fit more like the photo and it was still awkwardly pulling across the top of chest/armpits. Definitely love the color & the print, and the legs are so wide they look like a skirt, but the top is such a pain it's almost not worth it.

Boxy, but cute in the right size
I originally ordered a Small in this dress, and the boxiness of the starchy fabric made it look like a paper doll outfit that didn't fit right. I re-ordered an XS (I usually wear a 4-6) and it looked a lot better. The open back and the front slit hidden behind a crease are awesome, but if too big it just looked silly.

The design on these is definitely loud! I sized up as I was worried about the waist, and they're pretty loose, so I'd recommend sticking with your normal size. Thin, airy fabric, good for hot summer days.

Comfy, easy to wear, looks like pieces of tin foil?
For a straightforward loose top, this is very well cut and flattering. I liked the color and the sleeve cuffs. I will say that I thought the pattern was going to look a bit more like marbling, but it really look like pieces of crumpled tin foil randomly scattered across the shirt. Definitely wouldn't have gotten it had I realized that, but it was fine to wear around once.

Definitely a very bohemian look - I wore it while I was out in California, don't think it would play as well in New York. Kind of shorter than I expected, but not too short by any means. It's definitely very wide with very puffy sleeves, but they hang nicely.

Really cute, fun top with a cool texture. I generally don't go for things with a cut like this, and was very pleasantly surprised. Visually interesting enough that it doesn't need to be dressed up much to look really nice. Would rent again!

Fun Sweater
This sweater was great for everyday/work. It is much more flecked with colors in person than it appears online which is definitely more fun. The neck is a little high and hit in a funny spot for me and the pocket is weirdly large, but I enjoyed wearing it and recommend.

Huge, not flattering
This isn't really a sweater dress, but it isn't really a regular dress material either. It's super oversized, and pretty shapeless. Was so big I couldn't wear it even with a belt and sent straight back. Definitely disappointing - maybe if you size down two or three sizes, it would be cute?

VERY Warm, maybe too warm
Loved this sweater-coat, wore it a handful of times before returning. It's extremely warm, enough that one day I wore it to work and hand to take it off & just wear the shirt underneath because it was too hot. However, if you're in a really cold place and want something to dress up an outfit for a night out, or want to be super cozy on a plane, I very highly recommend! The sleeves are slightly long, but not egregiously so.

Realllllly soft, fuzzy, and not at all dull. Great color, fun little details. I'd say this runs true to size, but if anything a bit large. I'm a S or M depending on brand, and rented the M, and the shoulder seams are a bit wide for me, and the sleeves a bit long. Definitely a fan!

Cute boxy sweater with fun accent
Loved this so much I bought it! Very cute, short sweater, a bit boxy. I'm pretty short - if you're taller it might hit at a weird spot but hits right at the top of my pants. Love the tie on the side for a fun accent, something a little different. The top color is definitely navy, not black, if that matters. Highly recommend for day-to-day!

Fun, comfortable look for colder weather
Really fun and comfortable sweater dress - I ended up wearing it for both a New Years day gathering & dinner on vacation, would have worn it for Thanksgiving dinner if I'd had it then. It's super flattering, and even at 5'3" didn't look too long. Easy to dress up or down (I wore it with flat Chelsea boots and heels), and the sparkly stripes give it some fun. I wasn't wild about the frilly cuffs, especially if food is involved, but they add to the overall effect. Highly recommend!

Would only fit a Barbie doll
Who would this dress possibly fit? After reading the reviews, I sized up to an 8 from my usual 4. The waist barely fit, but the bust was so large it was baggy. The darts are also pretty low, so they're clearly anticipating someone with a pretty large bust. Beyond that, it's super short. At 5'3" it would have been fine, but any taller ladies will be showing a lot of leg, especially the way the skirt flares out. The photos don't really show that the sleeves are lace, which is a nice touch, if you can wear this dress out of the house at all. Do NOT recommend unless you are uniquely well-endowed with an hourglass figure...then it would be great.

Gorgeous mohair coat, slightly large
I'm generally between a medium & a small, and the shoulders are definitely too wide for me in the Size 2/M. It's a beautiful coat though, really lovely to wear though it can get a bit itchy. The buttons are super low-slung so not for very cold temps, but an amazing fall coat.

Fun, unique jumpsuit
Wore this for a party at a rooftop bar in November & was worried it would be cold. The legs are SUPER long, at 5'3" in my highest heels, you couldn't see that I even had feet. If I wore it again, I'd tack them up a bit. The off-the-shoulder pieces look much better and more natural in person than on the model. Overall, loved it & got tons of compliments!

Gorgeous, fun, unique, colorful linen dress
I would never have picked this out for myself but the stylist at the RtR flagship talked me into it and it was fantastic! I absolutely loved it. Wore for an August outdoor wedding that was fairly formal and it was perfect. The linen and unfinished ruffle made it really well suited for the summer, outdoor setting, but the off-the-shoulder details also made it lovely and refined. The bodice fit well and is fully lined (though after cocktail hour I was wishing I'd worn spanx). The color is nearly universally flattering. Went well with my boyfriend's blue suit just as well as any other color. It's definitely a vibrant color and a unique neckline so I went with sparkly but not too busy earrings & bracelet, necklaces just didn't work well with it. Highly recommend for any summer event!

Fun & funky pencil dress
This dress definitely makes a statement with it's funky print - the side cutouts also make a fairly conservative cut a bit more fun, but are small enough not to be risqué. At 5'3" it was a bit long, but not too long to look good. In the end, I was hoping to wear this to a rehearsal dinner but think it would be more appropriate for a work function. I'm not very busty and ended up feeling like the dress made me look a little too un-curvy, as any shape is somewhat obscured by the busy pattern. The fabric is nice and a bit thick so it doesn't seem like it would wrinkle if you were sitting all day - again, probably better suited for a work function. I liked it, and would recommend if you're a bit curvier.

Elegant but fun sparkle
Rented these for a wedding after finding that a lot of earrings were larger than I felt I could pull off. These have a nice dangle and gorgeous sparkle, without being over the top. Wore my hair down and they peeked out nicely, and a RTR dress that has a neckline that didn't work well with a necklace so had to add some pops elsewhere.

Definitely a winter look
Such a fun dress - lace, satin, pockets! Unfortunately rented this for a summer wedding thinking that the lace top would be warm-weather appropriate but it really reads 'holiday' or 'winter' with the weight of the skirt. The lace is see-through in parts of the top but the cut and the skirt make it pretty conservative and good for a work or family event. Would rent again for a holiday party.
