Elegant staple but short in the torso
Looks great tucked in but the torso is so short it kept coming undone. Only works with very high waisted pants.

Elegant style, tight waist
As someone with a narrow waist but wider hips/thighs/butt I was pleased that the cut was relaxed but there's not a lot of give in the waist. They were just a tad too tight on me. Wearable, but left an imprint on my stomach. The length is perfect, just exactly reached the floor without heels.

Work appropriate, flattering design
Comfortable and airy. Great for hot weather. It is a bit baggy on top but I think it works fine with this silhouette (and I’m someone who usually prefers more fitted styles). Length is work appropriate. The cut is really “sweet” and pretty without being too young if that makes sense. There are two zippers here that are not obvious or easy to find the first time but are crucial to getting in and out of this!

Comfy, busy pattern
Great work dress. The material is very soft and stretchy and the fit is flattering. It also has ingenious little hooks underneath the shoulders to keep your bra straps in place. Loved those! The only issue is that the pattern is a little optical illusion-esque. I had people tell me things like “If I look at you too long I get spots in my vision.” Might not be the best pick if you’re in the spotlight (running meetings or presenting).

Flattering off white basic
Yes this is long but the whole idea is that it looks great when slightly bunched up. Not white exactly but more like a very very pale yellow. The ruching is very flattering.

Gorgeous color, lousy fit
This dress is really boxy. It has no shape whatsoever except what you give it by buckling the belt at the waist. The fabric just hangs limply and doesn’t flow or move with you well. It was too big on me up top but the neckline can’t be pinned so it just gapped away from my body. The color is gorgeous but I found the fit to be pretty disappointing and unflattering. Didn’t wear.

This isn’t really a true wrap, there’s a button inside that defines the waist (which is pretty snug and true to size). I needed a safety pin to keep the top closed and even then when I sat down it would bulge/gap along the neckline. Cute pattern with fun colors but the fit was meh.

Shapeless, weird neckline
So partly this shirt just helped me realize that the baggy/drapey look is not for me. I couldn’t for the life of me get this to drape in a way that looked at all flattering. Also there is extra fabric in the top half which makes the top of the back opaque while the bottom half is a bit see through. You can basically see the construction of the shirt from the back, which I didn’t like.

Breathable, narrow shoulders
I was so glad I happened to rent this during a brutal heat wave, because the linen was so comfortable. The design is very tailored so it can look baggy in areas if it doesn’t exactly match your shape. For example, my small bust didn’t really fill it out. I also wish it had less of a tank top silhouette and the shoulders were wider because I was constantly tucking in hanger loops and bra straps. Still cute - if it wasn’t for those two things I’d probably buy it!

Fit the curves!
So thrilled to find the first pair of jean shorts that actually fit my body without being way too short/tight/revealing and therefore uncomfortable both physically and mentally. I find it amusing that these are labeled as “baggy.” I prefer to think of them as “designed as if people with big thighs exist.” Bought them as soon as I tried them on.

If in doubt, size up
This is a really fun print. The slit is a little flirty but lands about at the knee, so not too scandalous. There is no give at all in the waistband. The 4 sat above my bellybutton and left an imprint in my stomach after wearing it for just a few hours. I wish I had sized up to a 6. The construction/shape is such that I don’t think the larger size would have looked any different at all on my body, just felt more comfortable. If you’re in doubt, size up.

Cute and flirty, consider sizing up for length
This dress is super cute. It’s also well constructed with a thick lining. I am small chested and went bra less no problem. But it’s short! And the flared skirt makes it feel even shorter, like a light breeze might cause a wardrobe malfunction. I am average height and the hemline was a bit out of my comfort zone but wearable. If you are on the taller size, consider sizing up for length.

I’m usually a 4 or 6 and I definitely should have sized down to a 2. Even then I think it still would have felt big and baggy. The over size nature just emphasizes the frumpiness in my opinion. It has very little shape to it and honestly reminded me of a baptism gown for a baby. That said, it was well made, lots of fabric and good construction. Just not my style I guess.

Gorgeous print
This is a true wrap so there are a few impracticalities. It has a bit of a tendency to fly open at the slit, especially in the wind. It’s also long - I ended up setting it pretty high on my waist so I wasn’t tripping over it. I worry a smaller size would have left less overlap fabric in the wrap. It also wrinkles easily. That said, I felt like the vibrant colors and stunning print made it worth the bit of hassle. It made a gorgeous option as a swimsuit coverup. I wore it every day of vacation and have never felt so fabulous at the beach!

These are comfortable and airy. Great for warm weather and casual outings, like a beach vacation. The only downside of the fit was that the elastic waistband was very tight, which was a bit uncomfortable and created some bulges. Better to pair with a baggy or over size top.

Weird fit, very casual
There’s a zipper on the side that makes it really snug in the torso and the arms/shoulders are a tight fit as well. With the zipper fully undone I still had a hell of a time getting it off. It’s cute but also very casual and the middle slit is bigger than I realized. Wasn’t until I got it on that I realized I was too old to pull it off. If you’re in your 20s, have fun with it! Just not for me.

This ran really large and had tons of stiff fabric. It was very unsuited to my body type (small bust and wider hips). Not fitted at all near the top and the flared bottom landed on a weird spot on my torso and felt really unflattering. I think even if I had sized down I still would have felt like I was wearing a bag.
