Great Preppy Option
This dress felt very preppy, but the yellow sweater material was soft and not itchy. I wore it several times! I planed to wear it for Easter Brunch but I had a sick kiddo and couldn't go. It didn't require a slip with light colored undergarments.

Can't Believe I Didn't Get a Pic...
Because I wore this SO many times. It's more athleisure looking in the picture than it is in real life. The fabric is sort of a lightweight tweed. I wore it with leggings and boots when it was cold and then with heels as it got warmer.

Cute; Trench Coat Material
I liked the fit of this dress except it gaped under my arms- but I have a large chest. The material is extremely lightweight and despite getting water on it, it dried quickly and clear... much like a trench coat. The fit hid my apron belly, which is always a win in my book!

Love the Flouncy Skirt
Idk if flouncy is a word, but the skirt had a lot more body to it then I expected, and I appreciated that detail. Paired this with a blazer and black Chloe heels for a nice work outfit.

Worked; Wouldn't Wear Without Undershirt
This is an adorable sweater dress but I'm not sure I could wear it as styled in the model photos. I rented it with the intent of wearing it over a long-sleeved shirt (it's still cold here!), but without the undershirt, I would have had large gaps under the arms and my bra/side boob would have shown. It's also a fairly thick sweater dress, so would be hot in warm weather.

Many Compliments! Ultra Preppy Work Dress
I wore this for work and it looked beautiful with a pair of tan suede boots and an ivory cardigan. I received lots of compliments. It wasn't my favorite rental ever; it just didn't feel like "me". This resulted in a very preppy look that was totally work appropriate for fall.

Compliments on Quality!
One of the physicians I work with commented on the quality of this dress. The fabric elevates it from a normal shirt dress. The length was great on my 5’ frame with clogs. I felt put together, and just added a belt to make the look!

So Disappointed!
I love Marine Layer. I love smocking since I can go braless. I love yellow. Despite these things, I couldn’t get this dress to work on me. It was very unflattering and I ultimately felt like a circus tent. I don’t think I could have sized down, either.

This dress was gorgeous and would be perfect for a summer occasion. I rented it for work. The arm holes were large so I opted to wear a blazer over it to prevent my bra from showing, but for something other than work, just a tank underneath would be fine.

Tried this on to wear to work but it didn’t fit right on me. It was tight in the ribcage, but also long in the waist. I might do better with a petite if it was available. I’m short and always expect dresses to be longer on me than intended, but it hit wrong in the torso. Also, the buttons made me look really too-heavy.
