Maybe i dont understand the dress? Im 5'10", 140 #, with a 32D bra. I would maybe wear this 9 months pregnant. It made me look about 6 sizes bigger, with the bust looking gigantic. My husband thought it was an old school weird sort of night gown that he was very confused by. A complete miss. Fyi - it is lined. Came to mid-shin on me.

Listen, Im 5'10" 140 pounds. I dont complain. I have had two kids and am 40 though. Could totally fit in the dress, but how horrifically uncomfortable I would have been, no thanks. Your stomach has to be perfect, or you have to be confident and not care. I mean, perfect. And bra straps would show. Wayyyyyy too body con for me.

Rented for husband's formal work function. Needed something appropriate, black or navy, but was not for an 80 year old or completely boring. Perfect dress. Im a size 4, 5'10", 140 pounds. Couldnt zip the S. M was PERFECT. The waist comes in a bit to really define. The only hard part is finding a bra. I wore a sticky backless one + a sticky nu bra to fill out the top (Im barely B, 40, 2 kids). Will probably rent again for the "right" occassion. I felt so appropriate but still with some pizazz.

I wore this dress while four months pregnant - and not a small four months. Sized one size up from my normal size, and it fit like a dream. Everyone at the wedding was impressed. Thick fabric, great for no spanx and cooler weather. Wore regular bra - also great while pregnant. Pattern was pretty but classy. Definitely navy based. Cons - lining was coming apart and when going to the bathroom, you definitely had to take some time to fix the lining. Also the slit curled in some, but it wasn't a big deal. I hate to guess, but I think you could wear into month five of pregnancy - at a certain point the boob/bump ratio will really look off (instead of just slightly).

The reviews of this dress are very good - was a little shocked given the material (very thin). I couldn’t wear any type of Spanx because no matter what some line (even in seamless) would show through (if not the stomach then the legs or back). Wrinkles very easily, so if you fly with it, you will definitely have to do some ironing, which is tough on the shoulders. Just something to be aware of!

I’m a size 4, and if not, usually more of a 6 than a 2 in designer sizes. And the XS fit very well. Except, well, I didn’t get the belt as pictured and there is no way someone like me (5’10”) could wear the XS in public. I’d say max is 5’8” unless you don’t have a torso. I wouldn’t be able to LEAN to the side in order to wear it out.

Might run slightly large - I'm usually a four and wore a two (although a little tight). Great length for tall girls, and even though it's "just" a navy lace dress, my (now) husband really really really loved it - it has a little classy pizzaz in there!

Rented for my wedding. Wanted a bracelet that was subtle, but not too subtle! (My other accessories were the main attention grabbers.) Was great as well because it wasn't a bangle, but somewhat looked like one. Go ahead and rent! Absolutely beautiful and fun accessory - yet very dressy and classy. I rented it for my wedding day - the picture is of my new hubby holding it. Nice to have something a little different than the norm but still very fitting and beautiful. And how many times can you really use a pink feather purse?

This dress is very easy to wear, is very pretty, and makes you feel very pretty! It definitely runs a bit big (and is stretchy), so I'd consider renting down a size for your backup. I'm definitely not a 2 in designer dresses (4/6) and wearing the 2 was the correct size and comfortable. I'm 5'10" and I'd say the L was a touch sort for anything over 2 3/4/3" heels. Easy, easy, easy!
