This was an easy, comfortable and beautiful dress for a black tie gala I attended! The gold detail is more shimmery in person and adds a little fun and flair. The dress is well lined and you can really get away with any undergarments you want. (I did a strapless bra and normal, not thong, underwear — always a plus for me!) The one shoulder has just a little bit of padding to make that shoulder have a good amount of structure, but not too much! Loved it!

I actually threw this in my cart last minute as a back up to the dress I thought I was going to wear and I ended up liking this one so much better. This fit me perfectly and was so comfortable. I wore it to my husband’s very fancy work holiday gala and felt like it was conservative but fun. I felt like the design even gave me a little curvy look even though I am mostly just straight and narrow. The inside lining was soft even though the outside was sequins. One note though — I am 5’4” and wore a few inch heels with this XS and it was the perfect length. So I’d be careful about the length for anyone shorter!

This dress has a beautiful shape and fit, but the material is not as dressy as it appears from afar. It’s pretty thin and I really would have had to think through my under garments pretty hard if I had worn it because it was a little see through. The silhouette is very pretty though and even gave a straight body type like me the appearance of some curves!

I wore this to my husband’s work holiday party, which is pretty formal, and I was very comfortable! The zero fit me perfectly, especially around the bust (I did not wear a bra) but I am very small chested so I’m wondering how others would do. I had to be careful about the slit when I sat down, but other than that I loved it and got tons of compliments!

I rented this for a spring trip to Napa that ended up having some chilly temps. I wore it with a long sweater or jacket, so that probably took a little away from the style. But I’d say with the corset style middle and puffy shoulders, it wasn’t totally my style anyway. Almost felt a little 1890s🤣 But it has a pretty pattern, was comfortable to wear and perfect for a spring, chilly, winery day!
