Chic and fun
I wore this for a date night in NYC with my husband. Overall a little large, and exposed my cleavage fairly substantially, but i still loved it!

Perfect dress for a winter date.
Thick tweedy fabric with sequin polka dot detail, 3-quarter sleeves and a sexy low-cut back make this the perfect date dress for colder months. Should easily fit just about anyone. Doesn't show too much leg.

Life of the party
I wore this to my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner. It is the perfect blend of "FUN" and "formal family affair". I received a ton of compliments and found the dress to be super comfortable and flattering.

The Black Swan!
I wore this to a formal food-and-beer pairing event in DC. Got tons of compliments from friends and strangers. Definitely "fluffier" than shown on the model, but fun to wear! The layers are see-through, so I wore a pair of black fitted bloomers underneath. Low-cut int he cleavage area, but you can wear a bra with this dress.

Didn't want to give it back!
I wore this while out on the town in Chelsea / Meatpacking. Dinner at Spice Market followed by drinks at The Standard. I adored this dress, and did not want to return it. So easy - the necklace collar means that you don't even have to think too hard about accessories! Would rent again.

Go For A Romp
SO much fun running around NYC in this glamorous romper! Wore to dinner at Jean Georges. A note of warning - the top is much lower cut than what is shown on the model. I wore a black bra and it was fully exposed. Safety pinned the top slightly shut so that it wasn't completely excessive. This romper is not for the faint of heart!

Slip too Short
The under layer is a green slip that didn't even cover my (not tremendously huge) backside. I was able to swap this dress for another - RTR has amazing customer service! - but found this dress to be unwearable.

Lawyers' Ball
I wore this to a bar association ball. I felt beautiful and received a ton of compliments from male and female attorneys. Struck the right balance for a professional formal event. All the women at my firm want to try RTR now, and some of the men ben asked me where I got the dress so that their wives could also try RTR, I wore with 4" heels and had no issues with length. The belt was missing from both the size I wore and the back-up dress, so I had to use my own skinny black belt.

Short!
I wore this dress to my annual holiday party. It is SHORT and the skirt is tighter than it looks on the model. I ended up pairing it with black tights because it was so short (and I am only 5'3"!) That made it work, and it was very comfortable. Definitely not appropriate for a work event or anything tremendously formal - it is pretty casual. Also, the fabric is rough and scratched my forearms.

Law School Prom!
I wore this to my law school prom. The dress is fun and unique. I liked that it did not hug my curves too tightly and I was able to dance in it, but it was still form-fitting enough to flatter. Also a plus that I could wear a regular bra. I love Nanette Lepore, and was psyched to get to wear one of her cocktail dresses! This dress was the right choice for this event.

Loved it, tons of compliments
I was so excited to wear the "Michelle Obama DNC Convention" dress, and it did not disappoint! It was very comfortable and flattering, and I got a ton of compliments. One note: despite the straps, this dress requires a strapless bra.

Tons of compliments, hard to move in
I wore this dress to back-to-back holiday parties on a Friday and a Saturday, and got a ton of compliments on both occasions. It looked great and fit well. I felt beautiful, and was glad I chose it. However, the dress has absolutely no stretch, and came almost to my knees, making it hard to move in. At the first party the slit seam tore a little, but that fortunately was not noticeable. Then, at the end of the second night when I was getting into my husband's (very low-to-the-ground 2-seater sports) car, the dress completely ripped up the back seam, all the way up, almost to my tailbone. Fortunately I was wearing a coat and was done for the night. Glad I rented this one, and hadn't paid full-price! This is NOT the dress to wear to an event with dancing.
