Nice summer frock
I knew going in this wasn't a great color for me but it's functional and light and easy to wear once you get the shoulder ties right for yourself. I found it to be a bit high waisted but it skimmed my lower half anyway.

Love the pleats!
I'd rent this again in a heartbeat! So easy to wear. Versatile. Graceful, shape-enhancing pleats; perfect on a warm, breezy day. I wore regular bra with a little fashion tape. Order one size down. Although it was longer on me, i got lucky: it looked great with either a flat (!) embellished sandal or a heeled ankle strap sandal. I didn't think it was at all sheer as some have said. And, just so you know, the straps are twisted.

I didn't wear it. Of Mercer dresses are well made and easy to wear but this style is an excrutiating bore. The bodice fit snugly while the shaped silhouette is wide. Order one size down; I'm a solid size 4 but would have worn the 2.

Just couldn't do it
The four stars are for the dress, not for how i feel about it. XS length and body proportions are great for my size. It's quite the booty dress but flattened the breasts a bit. The S let the boobs out but not quite as nice from the rear. Pick your battle. The colors are vibrant. Pattern & design are placed to flatter, both front and back. No armpit cleavage; any undergarments. Fabric stays put, has some give, could easily (ballroom) dance. If i saw it on you i'd probably like it... on YOU. But... what? was? I? thinking? Yeah, one of those: I hate the way i look in t-shirts necklines, i hate red/turquoise combo (even way back when it was fashion), and i just discovered i hate neoprene. Feels gross. Couldnt get it to UPS fast enough if you know what i mean. Once again, many thanks to the ladies who ARE RTR! Brilliant!

Effortless chic casual dress
The 0 was a really good look and length for me but a bit snug on my wide ribcage so I wore the 2; big difference between sizes. I'd definitely rent this again in spite of the slightly pilly tummy area (both sizes, the tummy area?). The description says crepe; it's not, but it drapes and moves nicely. Straps are slightly stretchy, very comfy. No armpit cleavage, no side boob, not sheer.

An edgy jacket for a wedding
This is a soft, squeaky leather and the zippers rattle a little but just what I like to hear and smell; may drive someone nuts if they have issues with this. The shoulders and sleeve length on the XS fit great but the body and PARICULARLY across the chest, was a tad snug so I went with the small (see stats side bar). The sleeves on the small were a lot longer. I usually wear size 2 (snug) and have broad ribs and shoulders. The pockets are adequate, and the peplum is soft and lays well. Taller ladies be aware: I can't imagine how this will be long enough for you. And take note: the jacket looks FAR better zipped than open.

Perfect size if you travel light
This is a TINY clutch but I got everything in there I needed - sans phone. I DO travel light and I needed it to balance the outfit with a little more gold anyway. Very easy to grip, throw on the table or hold on my lap when necessary. The bag sent to me had its down side: there were several knots in the chain; and there were two small chunks of "beads" missing from the side of the bag. I figured no one else would notice. I think it's probably dulled with age but I'd still rent it again if I needed an inexpensive accessory.

These black glass and gold earrings were noticeable even on me, a brunette. Incredibly light but I chose to use my own larger earring backs which provided more balance than the large backs provided. The downside: one stone was twisted on one earring; and on the other, the entire chandelier was slightly twisted. I wore them happily, however, and would rent them again.

It worked.
Huge difference between the small and the extra-small. The XS fit me well... billowy but not quite blousy enough. I'm short waisted and have long legs and, even at 5'2", I would have liked the waist to have hit lower. Still, a comfortable and appropriate choice for a casual NYE supper out. A little fashion tape took care of the length and neckline for a carefree evening. I wore it with black suede heels and gold earrings and let the low neckline (taped to my bra) dress it up. Judging by the dates of the other reviews, this doesn't appear to have been in circulation too long but it sure looks it. The top is certainly not white, nor off-white, cream, eggshell or ecru (I wouldn't have ordered ecru - not my color). It just seemed downright dingy; but in low lighting it looked fine after all. The cuffs seemed a tad soiled and the fabric was getting fuzzy and had pills but not deal breakers; no one knew but me. The one I didn't wear was a bit brighter but still not quite any of the whites I mentioned. Yet all in all, I would rent it again... IF the occasion was to be in low lighting.

framed the face perfectly
I liked these the moment I saw them on the web site and LOVED them the moment I opened the box. They're comfortable, they don't twist, turn or lose appeal in the wearing, and they'd complement just about any formal or semi-formal outfit. They're a matte gold with subtle crystals, and an elegant but restrained length for daytime or night. I wore them w/the lela rose monet garden dress - no other accessories except wedding rings - and thought they were a lovely, quiet statement accessory for a formal wedding luncheon. Thanks again, RTR. Friends for life!

I felt comfortable and at ease in this flattering dress!
All things considered - my height & weight as compared to my 36 bra band - the LelaRose Monet Garden Dress fit very true to size. It hit me at the narrow part of the leg just under the knee and I thought it was a flattering & demure length; of course, you could shorten it w/hem tape if you prefer. There are terrific little bra strap holders and I taped the neckline of the dress to my bra - my normal everyday bra - so it wouldn't show if I leaned forward. Perfect. The colors shown are accurate. I reached a little beyond my comfort zone and, for a noon wedding luncheon at a restaurant, I was perfectly dressed. I wore it with smashing purple suede pumps - the black in the dress is not quite black enough to match with other blacks - and the Ella Carter Kai earrings; a fine wool crepe blazer took care of the chill and it worked nicely with the ruched sheath. I gave the dress only four stars because it was a bit frayed around the cap sleeves - loved the cap sleeves - and there were lots of long threads. Needless to say, thanks again to the two brilliant women who created RTR, so we can all dress and feel like a million bucks!

long and lovely... and purple
Long for a 5'2" lady with 4" heels but you could use fashion tape; I didn't - except for tacking up parts of the lining that were longer than overlay. BTW, the print is predominantly purples with splashes of magenta. I was expecting sapphire but no biggy. The dress has been around a while so just don't expect new condition; and it's past its heyday but I thought it was still fun for a breezy beach wedding (silk flows so nicely) on a cool August evening (purple poly lining). The zipper is tricky... just unfurl it and up it goes. The dress - if worn snugly - stays put but the "cups" are not for the fortunately endowed. The left-shoulder strap was perfect.

Wearing this beautiful "maxi" was an event unto itself... like wearing moonlight.
Slip it on, party the night away, send it back... I couldn't have had a better experience with my first rental. The dress is gorgeous and flattering The crinkled, gossamer silk flows and floats beautifully; and just a hint of sparkle throughout makes it quite special. The front hit me at the narrowest part of the leg below the knee and, with a four inch wedge sandal (nude patent and jute), the back hemline just rested on the floor; no tape required anywhere. The 2 was a bit snug on my large ribcage but there was no discomfort or restriction. The shoulder strap genuinely makes it a bit more demure and less bare. I would only warn that it's not for the well-endowed; not an issue for me. The built in bra was perfect for my B's.

The print is beautiful.
The print on this dress is indeed lovely but I didn't care for the background color. Be advised it's a cocoa powder beige; it didn't flatter my aging medium olive complexion. I also wasn't thrilled with the hand. Read carefully the other reviews regarding size if you're larger than a 34 bra band. Another review suggests how and when to put it on... pay heed. It's a struggle, but if the colors work for you it is a lovely summer frock.
