This gorgeous gown was perfect for an early spring gala. At 5‘1“ and 127lbs the small was just a tad too big and I wonder if an XS would’ve worked better (out of stock). So I had to get creative to ruche it more on the slit side, so it didn’t drag the ground too much. Overall loved the look, the feel, and the elegance of the gown.

This dress is the perfect black sheath gown for multiple occasions! I’m 5’1”, 127lbs and the size small fit great. The textured fabric and ruching in the torso makes it forgiving, and petite friendly. I actually didn’t wear this to my event as I liked the other dress I chose better, but would definitely rent again when I need a classic black gown.

The dress is gorgeous and I got a ton of compliments, but it’s very long. I tried to use dress tape to hem it and with the way the lining and overlay are, it wasn’t possible. I used a bracelet form from my jewelry box and a hair rubber band to gather the fabric at the slit to shorten it, which helped some. See pic 2. And I did tack the shoulder straps which helped with the length there and kept my breasts held up and in better. I was stuck ordering the 6R and would’ve preferred a 4P or 6P. This dress is a stunner! So many compliments and so much attention all night in this. I have a large bust and there was still room to spare in the cups, would not recommend for someone with a small chest. The fabric is comfortable and it fit really well, though still a bit long on me.

This was my second style, and I’m glad the other one worked! The velvet fabric was forgiving, but not flattering. Perhaps on a very thin person or someone with different coloring, but the dress did nothing for me.

This was a simple elegant gown, but too long. It was my second style and I didn’t actually wear it. I may consider in the future as it is a nice elegant gown, but not too flashy. The material was thick with a bit of stretch. I think it would be comfortable for a long night.

I loved this dress and got SO many compliments. I ordered the SP and MP and the small was just a bit too tight. The MP was generous but a bit too long, though doable with a tall heel and holding it up on stairs, etc. I could’ve done with a slight shorter shoulder strap, but it worked well enough. I loved that the top was stitched together so I didn’t have to worry about it being open or too much cleavage. The color and quality were amazing. I would definitely recommend this dress!!
