I’m a true petite aka I have a short torso so if you’re like me, the length will be perfect (I wore 1.5” heels) but the top will be a touch loose. You’ll want chicken cutlets if you’re smaller chested and/or double sided tape. I had neither so that was my only hiccup. Otherwise, fit really well and very comfortable. The only other thing to add is that it is a mermaid so it’s less roomy through the hips which could limit some dance moves :)

Low and tight in the chest
Im hovering around a 0/2 and the 0 was just too small to close around my chest, which is smaller (I’ve lost weight recently and so it’s probably around 34A/AA). When it was on, the area that covers the chest felt dangerously slim, as if just the right dance move would cause an embarrassing malfunction. If you’re between sizes, definitely size up.

For a winter formal event!
I got this quickly as a replacement for another dress that was no longer available to ship. I’m hovering around a 0/2 and the 0 fit well. HOWEVER, it was snug in the hips as others have said and would not be great for dancing. And, this is definitely a winter wonderland dress. The belt detail is a beautiful velvet and the embroidery is stunning and weighty. I’d rented for a summer cocktail and this just didn’t fit the bill.

In love
Wore this to a winter wedding in Florida and it was perfect. I was 9 months postpartum with my second so needed something comfortable but elegant and this fit the bill. Loved the sheer cutouts to give it some edge. I wore 1.5 inch heels and I’m 5’2/3”. I also took some inspiration from the model photo and ordered a belt off of Amazon. The dress belt is sewn on so I needed to be creative tucking it but otherwise it was a 10/10.

I had my baby shower at approximately a million months pregnant with my second (actual: 36 weeks) & my pre-pregnancy size fit perfectly. For reference: currently 36C and ~150lbs & wore small. Feeling beautiful at this late stage in pregnancy is a luxury and I felt absolutely gorgeous. So comfortable. Husband even asked if I could just buy it it was so perfect :)

Better for hourglass figures
Wore this 4 months pregnant and needed a bit of shapewear. The lining on this particular dress has worn away the gripping so definitely need to be filled out on top to help keep dress up. The boning is not very strong. Length was good for my height as high low created a small train with 1.5-2" heels. Sized up due to pregnancy, but I'd definitely order the back up a size bigger. Overall really beautiful dress, but not necessarily great for those without curves.

Stunning and understated
Thought these would be "showier" but very warm and elegant. Wore with strapless black and floral gown and they were perfect. Definitely recommend.

Roomy, comfortable, elegant with 7 month bump!
Super pregnant and had a wedding in balmy Miami. This was perfect. Looks see through on the hanger but definitely not. You will need a strapless bra, preferably with low sides as the armholes are very roomy. I wore my normal size (regularly 2-4P depending on cut, but I'm more an 8P pregnant, cup size now 36C). And because of my height, the midi length felt like a well-fit gown (wore 1.5-2" heels). Compliments all night and great for eating and dancing--my favorite things! Rent this dress!

Not bump friendly if you're short-waisted
Pretty material but the waist is dropped so if you have a baby bump that sits higher this is not the dress for you. The waist was at my ribs and the shoulders at my ears :(. I also felt like the bow was a bit precious for my rounded body,'but that's a personal preference!

Go 3 sizes up for bump!
I rented this dress 2 and 3 sizes (6P & 8P). Unfortunately the 6P just wouldn't zip around my 7 month bump and new chest circumference (I'm usually a 34A and I'm a 36C now for reference) & The 8p was on back order so it never came. The length was divine, but I probably could have gotten the 8R and been ok with a heel. I like to dance at a wedding and this hit just at my ankle (I'm 5'2"ish but the bump definitely lifted the hem). Would definitely try this again in the correct size!

Elegant
I wore this to a black tie optional wedding, and it was pretty perfect. I'm between 5'2" and 5'3" and I wore a 3" wedge so the back of this dress pooled more like a train, which was fine even for dancing. I'm a true petite with a shorter torso, 34A, and I didn't wear a bra (too lazy) so the bodice slouched slightly, and I had to hike it up a few times in the night, but it was really comfortable overall and I felt like this was a great upgrade on the classic back black tie gown.

These were so stunning and much lighter than expected! Just the right amount of bling with an antique feel. A woman literally came up to me to tell me how beautiful these were and she was dripping in beautiful diamonds! Wish I could have kept them :)

Awards show!
The color is magnificent and I got so many compliments on this dress! It's terribly comfortable and while I was sweating in 95 degree heat, no embarrassing sweat marks were to be found! Just a few minor cons. I am 5'3" and wore a 2-3 inch heel and was still stepping on it a bit, so the petite is long... I'm a true petite, meaning I have a short torso, so while the 2P would have been better for my bust, it would have been too tight around my middle--just a thought if you have this body type. It did loosen up over the night though, so if you feel like you're a bit in between sizes, you might want to size down and know that it may feel snug at first. Definitely a show stopper!
