Perfectly serviceable
Wore this for my bridal shower. I rent pretty frequently, and this was a solid "meh" rental for me. The dress is fine but since it's white is kind of unforgiving and see-through. I could be wrong, but it seemed like the material was thinner than the red version of this dress. The material is also hot - You'd think since the dress is white that it'd be more for summery, warm-weather events, but not so. I felt humid and uncomfortable on an 80 degree day. Also I'm wondering if the silhouette is intended for a longer torso, because it bubbled out a bit on the upper part of the back for me. Won't rent this one again.

Light, lovely day dress!
I really enjoyed this cute dress, but it definitely runs small and has absolutely no stretch, so it's somewhat unforgiving. (I had to sport shapewear to pull it off.) Especially if you're hippy like me, I recommend sizing up! I really enjoyed the color/cut/design of the dress though, and the sweet little lacy swirlies on the arms were precious. Perfect for a daytime wedding or maybe a tea party. ;-)

Great dress, looked ridiculous on me.
I don't know if it's just because I'm short or what, but this dress looked so, so bad on me. It was form-fitted but somehow still seemed shapeless. The material has no stretch to help it skim across your bod. The color and material were quality and beautiful, but I just couldn't make it look right, even with heels on. Wouldn't recommend for fellow shorties.

Va va voom!
Okay so this dress was overall stylish and comfortable, and I received many compliments on it. However, when it arrived I was surprised at how cheap the material felt. The dress is essentially made of soft t-shirt material, which made it more casual than I was necessarily expecting. And while the dark color and cut made it overall flattering, the tight, thin material was somewhat unforgiving to my tum. I would say the design and cut come across as designer, but the material and seams make the dress seem more like something you might pick up in the junior's section at Macy's. I'd still recommend it, but certainly not for a more professional event, like I did. :-)

This gown is epic!
I've been renting through RTR for a few years now, and this is absolutely my favorite rental to date. This gown is beautifully structured and wonderfully made. The material is high-quality and doesn't wrinkle, and the cut seemed like it was made just for me. The bottom part of the mermaid skirt moves regally when you walk, and I felt like a freaking starlet in this. So classy!! If I ever rent this again (which is likely), I'd switch to the petite length (I'm 5'3). The regular length *just* worked with five inch heels, but it did drag the floor a bit in the back. In short, absolutely rent this I looooooooooooved it. <3

A lovely and summery wear for a friend's bridal shower, but not the same dress as in the picture.
This dress was easy to wear, beautifully flowy, and I received several compliments, but there were a couple things about it that frustrated me: 1.) First of all, while the general shape and print were the same, what I received simply wasn't the same dress pictured on the site. The front was cut differently (there were no gathers under the breasts, and the waistline wasn't a separate cut of material like in the picture), and also the material on the back came up about 3-4 inches higher than what's pictured. This in particular frustrated me, as I was looking forward to the somewhat dramatic low-cut back. The dress I received had a pretty standard-looking sundress back. (I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the back.) 2.) It was surprisingly short. I'm only 5'3", and the length barely reached the floor when I was wearing flats. I'd actually wanted to wear wedges with it, but that didn't look right with the length. I imagine this might look a bit odd on taller girls. Overall it was a nice wear and people thought it was lovely, but I was disappointed that the dress I received wasn't a true reflection of what's advertised. That's the dress I wanted.

This was my Easter dress!
I wore this dress for our church's Easter service, and I received many compliments on it. The dress has a nice subtle sheen in the material, and fit in a lovely and classic way, even if my D-cups felt a teensy bit squished in the size 8. The shoulders are also very square-looking, but not in a bad way. Overall a nice, easy wear!

Sexy and flattering dress!
I really loved wearing this dress, but WOW does it run narrow through the hips. I'm normally an 8, and I laughed when I pulled the 8 out of the bag because the bottom half looked so small. Hilariously, I still tried putting it on, and almost got stuck. I ended up in the size 10! Take this dress' description seriously when they don't list "hourglass" or "pear-shaped" as a body type recommendation. Besides all that, I LOVED wearing this!! My boyfriend loved it. Once you actually get it on the material is thick and flattering, and I appreciated how it was just sexy enough without being too overt. I wanted to wear it without a bra but it simply wasn't flattering on my D-cups, so I ended up getting one of those stick-on bra things from VS, which worked out fine. Great rental!

Beautiful dress for our Christmas date!
I really enjoyed wearing this dress (the color is gorgeous), but I had to fuss with it a bit to make it look nice. Because I'm pear shaped the dress would've absolutely looked like a sack on me if I didn't belt it. Once I belted it, perfection. I would've loved the dress to be cut a little more for my shape, and I would encourage other large-bummed ladies to keep that in mind when renting. Otherwise, I LOVED the blue lace sleeves and the sexy little side slit. Great rental.

I found this dress to be flattering and lovely. It was form-fitting enough to be sexy, but also covered enough skin to feel modest/classy. It's also nice and stretchy so the size 8 accommodated my ample bum, although I also could've easily worn the 10. Loved it!

Adored these lovely earrings!
These were just beautiful and I adored wearing them... they're a lovely color. I wore them almost every day throughout my rental! The ONLY downside to them is that the fasteners on the back (similar to a clip-on, but for pierced ears) started hurting me after a couple hours. I would have to give my ears a break from them before putting them back on. So I guess don't rent if you have sensitive ears!

Sparkly yet somewhat cheap-looking...
I loved the sparkle of this necklace under the right lighting, but the huge clear chunks of plastic under each jewel (to give lift, I guess) honestly made the necklace look cheap and super costumey. I ended up wearing it for my event, but I wouldn't rent this again.

Lovely and well-made but WOW tight!!
This dress was made of beautiful material and was wonderfully made, but I was baffled at how tight it was on me. Unwearably tight. I'm an 8/10 (usually wear an 8) and the size 8 was so snug on me I couldn't justify wearing it for my work event. Considering the garment is described as running large I was somewhat confused. After I put it back in the envelope for a quick return it occurred to me that perhaps I'd been sent the wrong size, but I forgot to check. Still, it's a beautiful dress - I'll just be sure to size up if I try it again!

Modest yet sexy!
I am CRAZY about this dress, and I want to rent it again sometime. I was afraid it would look frumpy without a defined waist and such, but it is cut just beautifully and fit my figure well. I loved the material and the subtle train in the back. I wore it with a sparkly statement necklace and black stockings/heels. So many compliments! RENT THIS.

Accentuates your curves!
I absolutely enjoyed wearing this for my work dinner, and the fit of it complimented my curvy figure well. The dress is well-made with quality material. I ended up wearing the 10, although there was surprisingly little difference between the 10 and 12, at least on my bod. A couple "complaints" though! First off, I didn't find the sleeves to be especially flattering to my arms. You'd think with the black mesh there would be a slimming effect (like black stockings on your legs), but for some reason I felt like these almost had the opposite effect - they somehow looked chubbier! Also, considering this is a designer garment, I was surprised/disappointed that it wasn't lined. I feel like that can sometimes have a huge impact on how the dress moves on your body. I ended up wearing Spanx and a slip with it. Overall, a great dress! Recommended.

Lovely, but sizable!
I rented these before any photos of someone wearing them had been posted, and when they arrived I was a bit surprised at how big they are. However, they are beautiful! The colors (especially the peach) are a bit more intense in person. They have a bit of heft to them, but they're not uncomfortably heavy. Their size makes them seem more formal than what I was going for, but again - that would be my only "complaint". Lovely earrings!

A "decadent" wear!
This dress was lovely and flattering, and invited several compliments. It felt luxurious to wear as the lace is thick and beautiful, and the nude lining is satiny and feminine. It's also a lovely, eye-catching color in person. Regarding fit, it was a teensy bit tight through the shoulders, but nothing too uncomfortable. My 36DD's fit in the 12 just fine!

Beautifully, forgivingly form-fitting!
I loved the way this dress looked on me, and I received tons of compliments on it at my work event. The material is thick enough to communicate its quality and also skim over problem areas. I felt sexy in it but also professional. I *did* wear a Spanx with it, and that helped smooth things out a bit as well. The only thing I was a tiny bit disappointed in was that it wasn't lined. For this expensive of a dress, I would assume it would have some sort of lining. I had to wear a slip. Overall, a great wear!

I didn't end up wearing this dress for my work event. It's absolutely beautiful - well made, flattering construction, and quality material. I'm a pretty solid size 12, but I'm also a bit hippy and this was simply too tight in the hips/butt area for me. The dress description states "stretchy fabric allows comfortable room for full hips", which I suppose is the case, if you don't mind a very curvy look for a sexier occasion. If you're pear-shaped, I'd definitely recommend sizing up. But again - a gorgeous garment! I'm bummed I had to send it back. :-(

Thick and well made, but a bit matronly.
Even after adding cute stockings, heels, sparkly earrings, and a bowed belt, I still felt a bit frumpy in this. It's certainly quality and well made (the material is surprisingly thick and heavy), but if you're a shorter gal like me (5'3), it just looks matronly. I wore a smaller size, but I still felt like it looked somewhat boxy around my waist and arms. And I realize the model is taller than me, but I've never had this much of a discrepancy between how long the dress was on the model and how long it was on me. It hit almost the bottom of my knees, and with the long sleeves and thick material, it felt like a dress more appropriate for an older woman. I know the cut-out is intended to add a bit of sexiness to the garment, and while it did keep it from being a total snoozefest, the cut-out was smaller than I thought it would be and therefore didn't really do the trick. If you're a shorter woman and looking for something incredibly modest and "safe", look no further. I personally wouldn't rent this again.

These earrings were a beautiful blue color, but to be honest were not as brilliant or expensive-looking as I'd anticipated. (I'm wondering if perhaps they needed cleaned or something.) Additionally, they left little dark marks on my ear lobes after wearing them for the day. So they were fine, but nothing special and I probably won't rent them again.

I very much enjoyed wearing this dress! It fit very well in nearly all aspects, but I certainly needed a spanx as the material was a bit thinner than expected. I was able to wear a normal, nude-colored bra with it. I know some reviewers noted the tight sleeves, but I have somewhat larger arms and I found they fit fine. Overall the dress is very elegant and I felt classy in it. Many compliments! I would recommend this dress.

A little frumpy...
I tried renting this dress but ended up sending it back because of the poor fit. I think it's intended for someone taller than me because the seemlingly empire waist hit akwardly low on me, creating an unflattering silhouette. I kept staring at it in the mirror trying to fidget with it and make it work, but it simply didn't look nice. The lace cap sleeves are nice, and overall the dress is a fine quality, but awkard fit.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't care for this dress at all. It didn't fit me well, and it made my butt/hips area look bigger than normal. I'm a bit bottom heavy (size 10/12), but normally I like to wear things that are form-fitting and show off my curves (like pencil skirts), but this was absolutely not a flattering tightness on me. I think this would look much better on smaller sizes. Didn't end up wearing it, and had to buy another dress at the last minute for my event. (I hadn't had the dress arrive in enough time for RTR to send me a replacement.)

Also, the dress doesn't provide much support for the bust area, so I ended up having to wear my thickest, most padded push-up bra with straps and then a little cropped jacket. The material is thinner than you might expect, so I also had to wear a slip to keep from treating everyone to an outline of my thighs. All that aside though, the dress was LOVELY and I got a billion compliments on it. The color is very true to the picture, and the draping is flattering and so lovely. Loved it. My entire rental experience was so easy and wonderful, everything was packaged beautifully when it arrived, and I loved all the little goodies RTR includes. I can't wait to rent again!!!

Feeling absolutely lovely and impeccably dressed!
I loved wearing this dress! I was kind of in between the two sizes I rented, which kind of blew, but I would say overall it's pretty true to size. The top draping part looks just lovely around your shoulders/arms, and the bottom half of the dress is very sleek and slimming. It seemed the teensiest bit long for me (I'm 5'3) even in heels, but that's not really the dress' fault. I would highly recommend this rental!

Extremely flattering!
I love love love this dress! The fabric is thick and forgiving and the cut is extremely flattering. The details on the bust/waist make you look tiny. The straps were a bit long for my shorter body, which gave me a little bit more cleavage than I'm comfortable with, but it wasn't too bad. This dress is a perfect way to showcase "the girls" and downplay your hips and butt. I wore this with a soft little red cardigan and red heels for Valentine's Day. Very comfortable! I'd recommend this dress to anyone.

Very comfortable, easy-to-wear dress. Poufy skirt could be considered slightly unflattering to your rear end, but the overall silhouette was nice. This dress is amazing! I'm curvy with 36D's, and it was definitely very body-con on me. I felt the top of the dress was particularly flattering and showcased the "girls" and the smallest part of the waist very well. The thicker fabric helped conceal little flaws. However, it's a VERY sexy dress. I personally would never wear it for anything other than clubbing, which is actually what I rented it for. Tons of compliments. Very highly recommended! Will definitely be renting this again!
