This dress was wonderful. My first RTR experience and now I want to rent dresses weekly. I wore it to my best friends bridal shower. I think everyone there complimented me on it. I'm a solid 6 and I had to wear the 4 because there is a lot of room for movement in the waist/belly area. But it fit me perfectly. The material is 100% polyester so there were moments where I felt a little toasty. But I wasn't suffering by any means. It is the perfect mix for a more semi formal event or just a day time party like I did. I ended up forgetting to put on my jewelry in the busyness of the shower day and getting everything ready, but it worked out well because it toned the formality of it down to fit the occasion. My one con to this dress was that under good lighting it was wrinkled and we ironed and steamed and the wrinkles just would not come out. But in my pictures it's hard to tell. The wrinkles aren't a deal breaker, they were faint enough to not bother me. I highly recommend this dress especially if you are tall and leggy like me it will not disappoint and you will be sure to receive compliments. 

A sales girl at the Rent The Runway store in Chicago brought this over to me to try on.  It looks a little unusual on the hangar, its something that I NEVER would have thought to try on.  Once I had it on I was obsessed.  I wore this dress for my bridal shower and received so many compliments.  It is unique and fashion forward, and I highly recommend for any occasion!

This dress was simply stunning in its own unique way! I loved the hidden lace that was worked into the dress. It was very classy,yet sexy at the same time. I wore it for my bf's graduation from USAF Officer School & it was perfect! One of my fav dresses!

I loved the fit of the dress. I loved that this dress was a shift dress it is so hard to find shift dresses that don't feel like a work dress. Loved the material, great color, lace sleeves and peak of lace at leg created such a great look. I have long legs for someone is 5'3 so it didn't feel too long. Hit right above my knee on long side and on lace side came a little shorter. 

This dress is AMAZING. I got so many compliments I can't even tell you. It's sexy but doesn't show too much skin where it's inappropriate. It was a chilly birthday night in April in Chicago and I didn't need a jacket! I'm between a 4 and 6 in this dress and I could have worn a 2 if they had it. I belted it to make me seem less boxy. I wished I owned this dress. Plenty of room in the chest, I'm a 32DDD. 

I ordered a size 4, and a back up size 2. I ended up wearing the 2 because I liked how the dress looked a little fitted rather than too loose, although the shoulders were just a little tight in the 2. The fabric is a little stretchy but not much, and just beautiful touches of lace on this minimal dress makes it perfect and unique. 

This is my favorite rental so far. It is sexy but you can wear it during the day. Dress it up or down and it will look fabulous either way. I am in love.

I am between a four and six in dresses. I went with the 4 on this one. It's true to size, but it's a looser cut, and I usually size down on dresses that are not too fitted. It's very comfortable, very unique, and looks fantastic on! I got many compliments! The lace sleeves and lace peeking out at the bottom are fun details that make this dress stand out.  I wore this to a few parties in Vegas. I have two sons, and the super hero pic was for them, but it also had better lighting than the other picture. I would definitely recommend this dress! 

Classic, sexy, edgy! Dress fit me perfect, I can usually wear a size 6 or 8, they both fit the 8 was a litter bigger in the stomach area and was a bit longer, but the 6 was more flattering so I went with that! I got so many compliments, I would totally rent this dress again! 

This dress was super comfortable and easy to wear. I had to go from a 1st birthday party during the day to a 30th birthday party at night and it felt appropriate for both events. The dress stayed perfect and did not wrinkle throughout the day. The fit was perfect and true to size. 

I thought the dress was beautiful. It ran larger than I expected but I just wore the 4 (I could have probably worn a 2 but it still looked great!). The length was perfect, the fabric was thick and perfect for a cold winter night and the lace gave it a beautiful sexy/fun touch for a rather conservative dress. I would definitely rent it again :)

So comfy! I loved this dress and hated returning it. Lined and with a thick material that's great for a winter date. Runs true to size, maybe a little large. I normally wear a 4, and got the 4 and 6, but I wished I'd sized down for my back-up, just to see how the 2 looked.  Rent it!

the dress was so beautiful, the color is very flattering for any skin type or body shape! the dress is sexy and even though it doesn't show too much skin it shows enough to be sexy and a little provocative. 

There was not one con about this dress - I am often iffy between a size 8 and a size 10, and the 8 fit absolutely perfectly.  Not too tight anywhere or too loose anywhere.  I am tall and wanted to show a little leg, so the lace slit was the perfect way to subtly add some flair.  The wedding was in February and the weather was chilly, so having a long sleeved option was just what I wanted.  One note - the dress is way more royal blue online and in pictures.  In person, it is actually closer to navy in color.

Loved this dress and received many compliments! Runs true to size. Looks great on a straighter/flatter body type. Warning: has shoulder pads. Normally that would be a deal breaker for me but it worked great. Not the best for dancing (can be very short with arms raised) and you have to be careful sitting with the lace slit, also a pretty warm dress. Awesome chance to wear something fun and chic!

Wore this to a work party. Received many compliments! Was a little baggy in the stomach area, so a belt was a must. The color was fabulous.

The quality of the dress is perfect, and it is very versatile. I wore it to a brunch, so I paired it with a chic over-the-shoulder purse and Steve Madden's Proto pumps. I'm usually a 12/14, so it wasn't as loose as it is on the model but still very edgy and classy. 

Loved this dress. Ended up wearing the Size 0 and it fit like a glove. I wore it to a 50th birthday party of a conservative friend. She knows I'm more edgy. It was just edgy enough for me with the lace "under" the sleeves and the "peekaboo" at the hem, but still conservative and not too sexy for the event. Very comfortable. I really liked it.

Loved the dress, was exactly what I was looking for for a family Christmas party.  Adorable with a hint of sex appeal at the bottom.  Super comfortable too!

The dress is so comfortable.  Although it is not form fitting, it is still very flattering.  The color is so vibrant and the material is luxurious.   I wore it for a New York wedding.  It was extremely fashion forward and current.   I did not want to take this dress off.

I was a little hesitant to order this dress because it seemed so different from all of the other dresses I was considering. Once I received my package (of course right on time, thanks RTR!) I was again a little nervous because of how it looked on the hanger. However, I once I tried it on I immediately fell and love and didn't want to take it off! Also, I was lucky enough to be the one to pop the tags on the dress! The dress fit perfectly, the color was great, and the sleeve and extra lace at the bottom make this dress one of a kind. I kept things simple, and received compliments all night long. Definitely a special find! So hard to send back! 

I just sad I had to wear tights as it was cold out but at 5'4" it would have been appropriate without tights. I'm normally a 2-4 and could have gone with a 0 on this one but the 2 still looked great. 

I got this as a replacement for a wedding reception. The layer fabric is slightly heavy for a spring wedding (60 degrees). The straight flowy fit makes it very comfortable sitting down. 

This was such a fun and sassy dress! The sleeves were a little tight, but other than that the dress ran a little large.  This dress needs a good statement necklace to pull it together. 

Runs a little big, I would have preferred it to be shorter.  Wore it to a fancy brunch and then around NYC. Got lots of compliments and it was super comfy and versatile. The color came out much brighter in pictures, it's really more of a dark navy in person.

Wore this to an Oscars brunch. Loved the color and the lace. The fit was pretty good although I felt the back was loose compared to how the front fit. I have a large bust though which could explain it. Happy with my pick though!

This dress was adorable with a little hint of sexiness. I threw a party at my house and wanted to dress up without going overboard. This dress was perfect. The lace detail on the arms and the little hint of lace on the thigh is a perfect compliment to the solid blue...which is such a flattering color. I felt complete comfortable in the dress all night, the lace isn't itchy at all. The arms are a teeny bit tight, but nothing that was bothering me too much. Overall loved the dress! 

Ordered this dress for my fiancés office party.  I knew I waned something a bit edgy and sexy but still covered up enough for a work event. This dress was perfect for all my criteria! Seems to run a bit large but not much. Once again a fantastic experience from RTR :)

Great dress. The color is beautiful and it's so comfortable. I'm 5'11 and it was the perfect length. It's roomy through the midsection and fitted through the shoulders and arms 

I loved the dress, however I wish it fit a little bit better. I ordered a size 2 and 4, and ended up wearing the size 2. I wish I ordered a 0 though, but I was afraid about ordering too small because I have muscular arms. Overall, I thought the dress was great though. 

I'm super tiny and while this dress was super comfy, I found that I sort of drowned in it for photos.

I really wanted to love this dress. I loved the peekaboo lace detailing in the skirt. For my body type though (pear shape) the dress pulled on my hips. I liked it a lot better when I belted it with a black belt, since it made it shorter and gave me a waist. The color is a little darker blue in person. 

My second size for my first choice (Trinia Turk--Santa Cruz) was unavailable so they sent me this one instead. I used RTR to find a dress for a Kentucky Derby Party. This dress did not fit my image of a Derby dress.  The material is very heavy and the shape is very boxy. Plus it had shoulder pads (hello 80's)!  The lace detail was interesting but I felt this dress would have been better suited for a winter holiday party, not a spring party. I wish the stylist would have looked in my favorites folder for other dresses I had selected for the Kentucky Derby Party. It seemed like this dress was randomly selected because the unavailable one was blue.  Thankfully I was able to where my first choice so disaster averted. 

Wore this dress to my nephew's christening. It was long enough but the slit was a little short for church. It ended up being ok. 

The dress overall fit very well, it was like a fancy t shirt dress. 

I wore this to a winter baby shower at an upscale Manhattan hotel and it was perfect - feminine with just enough edginess to make it modern. Received lots of compliments all day.

Truly an outstanding dress - not like the dress. Very unique - from the lace to the color. I received compliments all day. Perfect for a formal or casual affair. Fit was perfect. Would definitely rent this dress again.

I rented this for a dance thrown by my church. I absolutely loved it. No fuss, easy to wear, and fun. The lace on the sleeves and slip is thick and gorgeous. Also the color blue was vibrant and photographed great. Definitely recommend! 

I loved this dress! I wore it to my husband's work holiday party. The lace detailing on the sleeves and leg were so pretty and the color was gorgeous - especially in photos. I actually like the slight shoulder pads because it gave the dress some needed structure. Would definitely recommend!

This dress is a beautiful color. The skirt-slit and lace sleeves add interest. It was cut a little funny through the middle, making me feel a bit frumpy. But overall it was a great choice for dancing all night. 

This dress was so cool! I received a ton of compliments. The drape was beautiful. Just tight enough over the midsection to reveal a slight silhouette without clinging to the body. It was too snug under the arms, which can be a problem for my athletic build.  It didn't stop me from wearing it though! 

This was perfect for an early fall wedding. The fit was very true to size. I had originally had on a padded bra which made the shoulders a little tight. Once I downsized to a normal bra, it was perfect! It was about 70 degrees, which the dress was a bit warm for, but not unbearable! Would definitely recommend!

I rented this in a size 4 & it was a little snug across my booty.  Once belted it was great.  The lace sleeves have no give, but after a few mins in it it felt fine.  Easy dress for a date or night out.  

I rented this dress for my anniversary dinner with my boyfriend. He loved the dress so much that he wanted me to keep it haha. Overall the dress fit true to size - I have a pear shaped body and I rented a 6 and an 8 but I ended up going with the size 8 to fit my hips. 
The sleeves are on the right side so if you don't have a skinny arm, you might want to order size up. 

This dress is so cute! It has shoulder pads in it but actually made the shape of the dress even better.  I usually wear a size 4 and that's what I wore in this dress.  Super comfortable and got so many compliments! 

This dress was perfect for an evening fundraiser; classy but fun. I ordered the 6 and 8 and opted for the 8 because of the length (I'm 5'8" and it shows a lot of leg.) Beautiful color, very comfortable and perfect for a winter evening out! I also paired with a chunky necklace from RtR which looked great with the high neckline.

I wore this dress to dinner with my husband on Valentine's. I was looking for something that wasn't "traditional" Valentine's attire and this dress plus the rented earrings and necklace nailed it! There were a few spots that felt picked/rough on the dress and the under layer held some static, but overall it was classy and unique for a high-end dinner date!

Dress was gorgeous, made really well, and extremely comfortable. I'm between sizes 4 and 6, should've gotten the 6 because my arms aren't exactly toned and the sleeves were a little snug, but I loved the fit otherwise.  Would definitely wear it again if it were my own.

They didn't have a 12, so I crossed my fingers and hoped that the 10 would fit. While it didn't hang like the photo, with a good pair of spanx to help with my hips, the dress looked perfect! Without the spanx, it hugged tight on my hips and the seam on the lace side stuck out like a wing. It was also WAY hotter than I though it would be, the lace did not breathe and I was sweating like crazy after just one song of dancing. I felt beautiful and received a ton of compliments. A+ for my first RTR experience!

This dress was so comfortable and fun. Some reviewers complained about the shoulder pads, but they were NOT  a problem! The lace gives the simple dress a little something extra special and the color was a beautiful blue. Compliments all night! The only issue I had was a slight rip near the zipper that looked like someone tried to sew themselves :( I wore the dress anyway because I didn't notice until the day of the event and my hair was down so no one even saw. All in all this is one of my fav rentals so far! 

I loved this dress!  I wore it to a holiday party and received SO many compliments. The long sleeves were perfect for a chilly California night (ok it was only 50 degrees but still). I loved the lace details and the juxtaposed cut of the fabric how it hit my legs.  

A little tight in shoulders but over looked great and was comfy. 

I really enjoyed wearing this dress (the color is gorgeous), but I had to fuss with it a bit to make it look nice.  Because I'm pear shaped the dress would've absolutely looked like a sack on me if I didn't belt it.  Once I belted it, perfection.  I would've loved the dress to be cut a little more for my shape, and I would encourage other large-bummed ladies to keep that in mind when renting.  Otherwise, I LOVED the blue lace sleeves and the sexy little side slit.  Great rental.

I got SO many compliments on this dress! It's short (I'm 5'5" and it was a few inches above the knee) and it runs a bit big. It's not fitted at the waist.  I had an issue with the lace being ripped on the arm of the dress which I 
called RTR about when I received the dress, it was fine, not super noticeable but the lace does seem a little fragile. 

One of my favorite RTR dresses! I wore this for a college reunion. I was definitely a little more dressed up than most people, but I dressed it down a bit with booties. This dress can go either way. This dress is fun and sexy. It fits pretty true to size, but I'd go a size up for your backup because of the length. I was worried the short sleeves over the lace would be awkward but not at all! Bartender told me I was "killing it" in the dress.

Pros: It was a nice dress while sitting at dinner with my husbands colleagues. I loved that when you were dancing or walking there was a sexy-edge to the dress that ensured it wasn't frumpy. It was a nice balance.

Cons: The necklace in the picture arrived broken so I wasn't able to obtain the stylist recommended look which I had relied on. 

Fit a little big, but I'd rather that than too small. Got TONS of compliments. Was conservative with a little edge. Perfect for a wedding! :) 

I got rented this dress for a trip to Keenland with friends, and it was perfect for the event. We went in the end of October and this dress was flattering and warm enough that I did not need a jacket. I ended up adding a belt b/c I had a lot of loose fabric in the waist area, even though the dress was a tad fitted in my hip and thigh area. I am a pear shape, and think the dress would be most flattering on a top heavy shape. I added thin red belt and wore it with red wedges and a long tassel necklace. I got tons of compliments and felt fun,and flirty, with out being too revealing. 

I loved everything about this dress. It was beautiful, classy yet still sexy and, most importantly, comfortable. The color and fabric weight were perfect for an outdoor fall wedding. If you are looking for a dress that is really form-fitting, this probably isn't the best choice. However, if you are looking for something that can hide minor lumps and bumps while highlighting your legs, this is the one! I got numerous compliments on the hint of lace and the minor slit. Definitely my favorite RTR rental to date!  

I really liked this dress, however it runs very narrow through the shoulders! 
I also wore a belt at the waist because it was a very shapeless sheath. I loved the lace at the bottom and the sleeves, great dress for a fall wedding or formal event.

The 8 fit my body but I wore the 10 for the better range of  motion in my arms.

I absolutely love this dress, but it does run small. It fit tight in the arms and the hips. If you have curvy hips, definitely size up. I normally wear a size 6 but would have been much more comfortable in a size 8. 

I received so many compliments on this look!  It was the perfect dress for a September evening wedding because I was never too hot or too cold.  The dress fit me really nicely and I felt confident all night.  It is a great length and remains both classy and edgy at the same time.  I paired it nicely with a RTR necklace.  This dress is amazing! I will definitely rent from RTR in the future!

Wore this to our club's annual wine vault dinner.  It was a little short, but not so short that I couldn't wear it.  It was also a bit tight around the hips (I've got a decent amount of back), but some fashion tape held it in place for the most part.  Got tons of compliments & had a great night in this dress.  Definitely recommend.  

I wore this dress for my birthday dinner with the family. Loved that it was comfortable and allowed for a nice steak dinner! The lace was fun and made the shift dress edgier, which I liked. The royal blue is great too (I love blue!)
Living in San Francisco, I'm not used to summers being very hot, but we had dinner down in the South Bay where temps reached 90's that day! The dress was a little tough to wear outdoors but luckily, we weren't out for too long.
The shoulder pads were a little annoying and I feel like they make me look like I'm slouching, even though I'm not in the pictures (I swear! My mom was right there, can't slouch in front of her!)
Overall, great dress, perfect for a night out or for a work event where you want to look nice but have just a little oomph to stand out.

This dress fit true to size- I am 5'8" and it was a perfect length for my event. It was extremely comfortable and as an added bonus you can wear a normal bra with it! It is a dark navy color and would be matched well with many different colors and shoe options. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone looking for a comfortable, versatile dress option for their event!!
