I rented this dress because I wanted to wear it for a birthday party. Unfortunately, the dress looked very battered and it was stretched out in weird places. The color is a bit different in person as well. I ended up not wearing it and returned it immediately.

I rented this in size 4 because the Carven skirt I previously rented ran very small. This dress runs big and the fabric is not made to flatter your body shapes. It's also not a comfortable material. My stomach looked bumpy.

I rented this because it looked great on photos. I'm usually size 0-2. When I tried this on, it was so roomy around my belly and downwards, but it was very tight in the arms. The dress is also very flimsy and light material so it will show all your curves as is. I'm 5' 4'' and this draped over my knees in a very unappealing way. Overall, this was not flattering and I returned it immediately.

I wore this earring with a black boatneck top, black jeans, and black stiletto heels. I purposely had my hair down so it gives it a subtle accent rather than screaming "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!" I love that it's a clip on, and it was lighter than I imagined. I think it'll look great on any complexion.

I am usually a size 0 in Derek Lam. However, I found this to be a bit tight on the chest and they are very annoying to take off/on. The metal buttons also make the top heavier than others. I would also recommend wearing a silk cami underneath since it is very low cut.

If you're petite like I am (5'4") I would double check the length of this dress. I rushed my unlimited order so I ended up choosing this dress because of the color and the neckline. Unfortunately, the dress was way too long and would end halfway down my knee and I looked short and out of proportion.

This is clutch suited for spring/summer. My only problem was that the flap/lock was lose so I didn't feel secure. It would open randomly while I was walking. That was the main reason for me to send it back shortly after receiving this clutch.

I wore this to an event at an upscale museum. My SO absolutely loved this dress! He said it made me look classy and beautiful. I wore this dress with my hair up, and a pair of earrings that I rented from RTR as well. Although it is a bit long for my height (it fell just around my knee, and I do think I would have looked nicer if it fell near my tights but that's because I'm much shorter than the model! so not the dress's fault) The bow really accentuates the waist and makes it look more narrow, and overall, I was very pleased with this dress.

This dress has less pleats (accordion) than I thought-- which actually turned out great! It is made of thick wool, but fits beautifully into my body. I wore this for a date at a bar. This dress is subtly sexy but elegant at the same time! Very pleased with Rent the Runway's customer service too. The dress really tugs you in, so it makes you look skinny from the side, but doesn't affect your bust size! I'm definitely renting this dress again.
