Twirly, swirly, a little squirrely
At first look, this dress is dreamy -- beautiful neck detail, a fitted waist, and a full skirt. Upon wearing it, I realized the first and last are true. The neck and back of the dress are actually really cute, and back bra straps are hardly noticeable through the lace. The skirt is VERY full and swirly so you feel like an absolute princess. Now, there were three problem areas for this dress. I have an hourglass figure, which this dress does not compliment. The waist does not cinch in at all, making it very bump-friendly if you are pregnant, but for me I look like a mattress. For curvy ladies, a belt is a MUST. Secondly, the armholes for this dress go down pretty deep. I'm almost sporting a bit of side-boob in the picture. My bra is visible beneath the armpit and up the bust curve. Thirdly, the underskirt is unexpectedly short. The lace is pretty thick overall, but the legs are pretty visible up to the underskirt, which goes down to about 8" above my knee. As a dance instructor who is constantly turning and swaying, this presented a slight problem and necessitated the wearing of shorts. I think that the first two issues are easily solvable by getting a size smaller. I am always a medium (sometimes a large) but in this case, I should have opted for the small size. It definitely runs big.

Beautiful print, good fabric
I wasn't able to wear this dress only because my bust & butt did not fit. My waist did. Conclusion: it is simply not made for curvy ladies. The fabric does NOT stretch. If you are long and lean, however, you will look GREAT in the dress. :)

Great fit! Has a sharp, professional, timeless cut in a color that will suit pretty much anybody.
I work as a ballroom dance teacher, and I am always on the lookout for a dress that is classy, comfortable, easy to move in, and short without being too revealing. This dress really hit all of those points! The dress runs true to size and even fits my DD chest with room to move still. The collar is not tight. It really is fantastic and I will probably order it again!
