To die for

This jacket was incredible. I was worried the fit would be too boxy based on other reviews, but I didn't find that to be the case. Even though it has a motorcycle/tough edge, it manages to still be beautiful and look feminine. Loved it!

Runs WAY big

This dress is pretty in theory. I wanted to wear it for a semi-formal dinner and auction. I am very consistently a medium/ size 6. I border on size 8 when I'm not working out. I ordered this dress in a medium and it hung off my body in a very unattractive way due to the poor fit. I probably would have liked it and even worn it if I had known just how huge it ran and sized down.

Beautiful and classic

I rented two dresses that I intended to pair these with. Neither dress worked and the customer service experience was dismal, but the Earrings themselves are beautiful. Nice weight and also very versatile. I would love to have this pair in my own jewelry collection.

Such a romantic gown!

I rented this gown for our family pictures. I wanted something that would photograph really well and this dress absolutely does! As for fit, I would say it runs small, especially if you have height. I'm 5'9" and wore shoes with small heels. I HATE my shoes showing under a long gown, and the outer layers of this gown just barely touched the ground. It worked for pictures but probably would have bothered me if I had been wearing this to an event. It has no give through the bodice, so keep that in mind if you have a larger bust and go a size up. The plus side to that is the fact that the top feels structured and a bra wasn't necessary for me, although I wore a sticky cup bra from target to provide a little shape through the bust. I loved the elegant, regal feel to this dress. It has a beautiful shape and gorgeous movement through the skirt. The colors remind me of a watercolor painting and it makes a statement without overpowering your look. Overall, I loved it!

Favorite dress yet!

I rented this dress to wear to a formal dinner celebrating a professional achievement for my husband. I needed something classy and tasteful, yet I wanted to feel sexy and sleek. This dress delivered. Note that this dress runs quite large. I am usually on the border between 4/6 so I rented both sizes. I would have been swimming in the 6, and the 4 was actually a bit roomier than I expected it to be. I may have been able to get away with a 2 in this one. So... size down! I am tall and the length was just perfect for me, hitting right at the knee. On someone with shorter legs, I can see how this dress might be longer than "knee-length" for them. The collar was not too tight or stifling, which was something I worried about with this style of dress. The material has a surprising amount of stretch. My one complaint is that this dress arrived EXTREMELY wrinkled. I tried steaming (2x), wrinkle releasing spray, and ironing (also 2x) and finally was able to tame the wrinkles after a LOT of work. I felt greatly disappointed in the condition the dress arrived in and am skeptical about whether it was even cleaned before I received it. Fortunately it didn't have any stains or marks, just the wrinkles. The dress itself is not only gorgeous, but comfortable. Shoulders are a more understated body part to show off than cleavage or lots of leg, and I am not a fan of the current "cut-out" trend that displays huge patches of skin in random places like your stomach or side, especially for a formal work-related event. This dress provided me with sexy elegance and I couldn't have been more appropriately dressed.

Fun dress, weird fit

I'll start with the positive - I love the pattern and style of this dress as a fun one to wear out on the town for a night. I paired it with a cool black fringe bag and some simple ankle strap black sandals to go out to dinner and drinks with my husband. Although it is a super cute style, I totally disagree with the assessment that this dress runs true to size unless you're "hippy". I am 5'9" and weighed 136 lbs at the time of wearing this dress. My measurements are 34-28-37. I wear a dress size 4-6. I'm uncomfortable with wearing something VERY short and tight, so I expected this dress to fit me best in a size medium, but I ordered the large as a back up just for the heck of it. I've never been accused of being "hippy" in my life, or worn a large, but I'm very glad I ordered the back up. I tried on the medium and immediately felt like a stuffed sausage. The neck was incredibly tight, my chest (which is not large) was smashed flat, and the hip area gathered and rode up just standing still. I knew immediately that there was no way I would be comfortable sitting down in this dress much less spending an entire night wearing it. Ultimately I chose the large, which fit like a size 4 in my opinion, even with stretch. It still wasn't "roomy" at all. It was cute and I got a compliment or two, but I'm not sure I loved the style for my body-type - which is very straight and narrow. My advice is to SIZE UP in this dress unless you're completely comfortable feeling "stuffed" into a garment.

Classic and Pretty

This is what I wore to a wedding that had a classy/vintage-glam theme and black and gold as the official wedding colors - how could I NOT pick this dress? It did remind me of something I would see on Mad Men. I normally wear a 6 and ordered a 4 as my backup size. When it arrived, I pulled it out of the bag and thought... "Hmm". I have never been a huge fan of anything frilly or full - and this dress looked fuller than I expected it to be on the bottom, especially with the peplum. I truly didn't expect to like it that much when I put it on. I optimistically tried the size 4 first, and it fit. I honestly can't say if this dress runs large, because I have been working out more and have slightly toned up, so my size might be different than my usual 6 right now. Once I had the dress on, I liked it a lot more than on the hanger. As previous reviews have stated, it isn't exactly a "sexy" dress - it's quite conservative. The second time I tried it on, I liked it even more - it grew on me! Initially I tried it on with a regular strapless bra and that gave it a really restrictive feel up top and made me look flat. I am not busty and it has NO give, so I can't imagine this would be a great dress for someone who is very busty. I got a $20 stick-on gel bra, and that completely remedied the problem - without the bra band, it wasn't so tight around my ribcage but I still had some shape and lift from the gel cups. It even gave me nice cleavage, so that was an added bonus. Also, I recommend putting your shoes on first if you have buckles around the ankles or anything, because the top has no stretch, it was hard for me to lean down to buckle my heels the first time I tried the dress on with them. At the wedding, my dress was a total hit and I got tons of compliments. It was called "fabulous" more times than I can count. This dress is not slinky and sexy, but it is stunning and has a graceful elegance. It will turn heads without flashing a ton of skin.

Classy and unique

I actually wasn't sure if I was going to like this dress and was a little nervous about it. I rented it for a charity auction dinner and needed something somewhat conservative yet classy and stylish. I took the chance on this dress and I'm glad I did - it was actually one of the most comfortable dresses I've worn, and it was quite flattering. I had read in other reviews that the skirt was stretchier than expected, so I was not surprised to find that the bottom was not totally structured. I suppose spanx or body shapers would make this more comfortable for some, but it was also thick enough material that I didn't have a problem with it making me look lumpy or bumpy. The top has no give, so keep that in mind. I am not large chested and I had plenty of room up there - in fact I think I could have ordered this dress in a 4 and been comfortable. I think it is somewhere between running true to size and running a bit large. The zipper was difficult to get past the leather band at the waist but that was no big deal. The colors in the top are actually very pretty and they pop in person, but I tried taking photos in various lighting, and was unable to get a photo where they really showed up. I think this dress looks better in person than it photographs for that reason. Love this dress and would wear it again!

Great choice for my 30th

This dress was my first RTR and I had no idea what to expect. I chose it to wear for my 30th birthday celebration in downtown Seattle. My main worry was that the dress would be a thin, spandex-y material that would show every bump and line. When it arrived, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the material was a great quality and thick enough to mask flaws, yet it had give to it. When I ordered, I hoped to get both the small and the medium so I could choose the best fit, but the only size available was the medium. It was satisfactory - just a little loose through a few places which may have been a result of many different body types fitting into the same dress. Loved the length! I have long legs and above-the-knee usually ends up looking like street-walker mini on me. Not in this case! The length was short, but not so short that I felt the need to pull it down all the time. The dress is very classy, but has a sexy edge with the subtle lace cutouts. It would be perfect for a wide-range of occasions. My husband liked it so much, he even asked if I could just buy it!
