I loved loved loved this dress! It is the perfect outfit for a pear shaped girl, it fit like a glove from top to bottom, and I got a ton of compliments. Here are the pros: Great fit // Unique cutout // Stretchy and comfy // Don't need spanks! Cons: Sleeves were a little long so I had to tuck them in // If you are short, this dress might be longer than you want. Final note: I am a size 8 in my pants, and a size S-M up top. I loved this dress, I am 5'1" and wore four inch heels and the dress fit perfectly (I probably could have worn three inch heels). The dress was super snug and I opted to spanx just to be safe. I was able to dance all night and easily navigate the gala. Just a couple of notes: The shoulders were a little big, I definitely had to pull them down a few times. I also had to wear strapless bra - I tried to go without but I didn't fill out the top. If you are pear shaped, this dress actually fits!

I ended up wearing the Large, even though the Medium fit nearly as well. I went with the larger size since I was at a work party and I didn't need it too tight. The sleeves were way too long, but luckily, because of the way the fabric works, it was easy to tuck it in, and I never noticed it again. I really liked the way the dress looked, you don't need accessories or jewelry, it was simple and yet unique at the same time. I paired it with black tights, black bootie boots, and an orange purse. Being 5'1" I thought the length was totally appropriate, but I did notice that when I was dancing later that night the dress got really short really fast. Also, perfect for the winter with long sleeves, but not too hot for the party.

I wore this to a work party in NYC, and I almost skipped it because it is was so tight but I went for it and could not be more happy. I couldn't walk more than 10 steps without getting a question about the dress, or receiving a compliment. I actually got photographed for TWO event/fashion blogs. Seriously, people will look at you when you wear this, men and women alike. I would be careful if you are a size 10, I am a size 8 (at my hips), and I just managed to shimmy into it. The medium was crazy tight. Also, I am short, and I LOVED that it went below the knees, because when a dress is this eye-catching, you don't need to be showing lots of leg. I coupled with gold shoes and a gold purse, and it was perfect.

I rented this dress for my company Halloween party, I needed a dress to go with my peacock accessories, it was amazing. I had a mixed experience with this dress so I will try and break it down. First off, I am a classic pear shaped size eight, meaning I am 8 on the bottom and more of a four on top. Typically I stick with stretchy fabric to make up for this, but after reading several reviews from other pear shaped women I decided to try this dress out. This turned out to be a BAD idea, the top was too loose and the bottom was too tight. What made it more complicated by this was the fact that the bodice was missing boning on the left breast and right ribcage, so not only did I not fill it out properly and it lacked the support it would have otherwise had. In the hip area there is a hard stop with the fabric and if your hips aren't small enough, that dress is not draping properly. I ended up tucking that part of the skirt inside the bodice so the upper part didn't turn in to one blob of fabric and let it ride for the night. it turned out ok but I honestly wasn't sure if I should post a photo since it actually looks good with my tuck job, ultimately I wanted others to see how it looked. At 5'1" my 4" heels were totally great for the length, but going forward, unless you are more straight and narrow I would be wary of this dress. Also, I like defining my waist, and I found that all the extra draped fabric made me look bigger than I am through the most narrow part of my body.

I liked this dress (but didn't love it), it felt kind of baggy and I ended up throwing a gold belt on it to give it some form. Overall, it was a little more casual than I had hoped for, but my date liked it and it was a nice change of pace from things I normally wear. There is gold threading in it, so gold accessories are key and it is TOTALLY sheer so I had to make an emergency stop for a slip. Also, the sleeves tend to fall, so a little double sided tape might be needed to keep them up.

I rented this dress for an event in NYC and it looked amazing. It hugged my hips nicely with some give since I am pear shaped. The back doesn't allow for a bra, but since I am a B I didn't have a problem. I did notice that when I sat down the cowl neck came a little lower and you could see some cleavage, but I didn't mind. The back is a little more narrow and wide than the pic shows, but I think that is because I am short - so take in to account your height for how it will drape in the back.

The purse held my cc, ID, cash, cell and camera perfectly. Anything more would not have fit, so be sure to pack light with this purse (I probably could have squeezed in a lipstick).

This dress is absolutely beautiful, feels and looks expensive and is great for curvy women that want something that will be snug in the waist and still fit them in the hips. The dress hit just at the kneed, which was perfect for me. The only downside was the slip kept twisting around because anchors between the dress and slip had broken from previous wearers, I had to go to the bathroom several times to untwist the fabric.

Perfect for a lady with curves, the dress fit like a glove, I had so many guys ask for my number at the party I thought about buying it.
