This dress fit like a glove and was stunning beyond compare. The color is a striking royal blue, even more lovely in person, and the lace details make it elegant and classy. Being tall I also appreciated the length of the skirt. Once on, I didn't have to fidget or adjust the dress the entire evening, which included a good few hours of some serious dancing might I add. I did wear a stick-on backless, strapless bra with it for the added peace of mind. I enjoyed many compliments on this dress and was sad to have to return it!

I felt like this dress fit a TAD small, but overall I was very pleased with the dress. The quality is great and the detail is even more lovely in person. The whole dress has just a slight shimmer in the material. I paired it with black tights to match the black ribbon at the waist and classic black pumps for my birthday dinner in the cold of February and it was perfect.

After reading other reviews about how this dress wasn't as formal as it looks, I decided to give it a try for a special celebratory date with my husband. Turns out the other reviewers were right - this dress is the perfect combination of classic and comfortable. The fabric is what gives this dress just a hint of being casual. I paired it with classic nude pumps for a night on the town and it was perfect. Comfortable, yet it fits like a glove in all the right places. I'm considering renting this dress again in the future for another event. To me, this dress does run a little small though, so I would recommend sizing a size up in your back-up dress.

I ordered this dress for my one-year wedding anniversary dinner. Since the dress appeared to be fairly new to RTR and did not have fit information yet, I ordered it in a 4 and a 6. I am normally a 4 and the 4 fit great. The top of the dress is slightly awkward because it's meant to be worn almost off the shoulders so several times during the night I found myself adjusting it. It's a very pretty dress though and I received several compliments on it. The back is beautiful as well.

This dress was fantastic. I wore it to a Broadway show and like some previous renters before me, I wore it with a champagne-colored sash. I just bought some silk ribbon from an art supply store and viola! A nice added touch that can help give this pretty dress some shape. I felt that this dress ran a TAD bit small.

I typically take a size 6, but the size 8 in this dress fit me perfectly. If you have wider hips, I would suggest getting your backup dress in the next size up, since I think this particular dress runs slightly smaller than other Lilly Pulitzer dresses I've worn. I received countless compliments on this dress when I wore it for a family party, and the shape it gives you is fantastic. It definitely was not as short on me as it looks on the model. Highly recommend.
